2025 Volvo EX30 Review / A completely new direction
The 2025 Volvo EX30 is a completely new model from the Scandinavian luxury brand. It sits on a dedicated EV platform that is not shared with an internal combustion cousin. This is also the smallest EV that they’ve produced to date and is a preview of things to come.
The 2025 Volvo EX30, like many other EVs, is available as a single-motor, RWD or dual-motor AWD variant. This demo vehicle is the former which provides 268 hp & 253 lb-ft of torque (200 kW & 343 Nm). The EX30 is not a light crossover hatchback at 1,850 kg (4,078) but thanks to the instant response of the motor, it doesn’t feel slow at all.
Should you need an AWD system, the dual-motor variant produces 422 hp & 400 lb-ft of torque (315 kW & 542 Nm). Volvo says that it will accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 3.7 seconds making it the fastest production Volvo ever made.
In the floor of the EX30 is a 69 kWh battery pack with a usable 64 kWh of energy. This enables the RWD version of the EX30 to drive for up to 420 km (261 Miles) according to Volvo. The AWD version has a range of up to 402 km (250 Miles). Recharging the battery from 10-80% at one of the fastest level 3 chargers will take around 28 minutes. The 2025 EX30 can charge at a maximum rate of 153 kW. From a common 7.4 kW level 2 charger, 0-100% takes around 9 hours.

Comparison: 2025 Ram 1500 Tungsten vs 2025 Ford F-150 Powerboost King Ranch / $100,000 trucks
Переглядів 6 тис.20 годин тому
It seems like trucks are getting more expensive by the day. The 2025 Ram 1500 Tungsten & 2025 Ford F-150 Powerboost King Ranch demo vehicles that I had the chance to review were worth over $100,000 CAD. So with their 6-figure price tags, are they essentially the same trucks or do they feel different enough from each other? With the Ford F-150, there are a few Ecoboost V6 engines and a V8 to cho...

After all the hype, after all the “buzz”, the 2025 Volkswagen ID.Buzz is finally here. This is the all-electric reincarnation of the VW Bus from the 1950’s. So does this new car capture the magic of its predecessor? The 2025 ID.Buzz is available with a single motor or a dual-motor layout. The single motor version powers the rear wheels and it produces 282 hp & 413 lb-ft of torque (210 kW & 560 ...

Переглядів 4,4 тис.21 день тому
The Mazda CX-70 and the Lincoln Nautilus may not look like direct competitors but they have quite a bit in common. They’re both larger 2-row SUVs, they’re both available with hybrid powertrains, and they’re both available with a lot of the same features. Plus, as we know, Mazda is moving up the luxury ladder. So how high up can it go? The Mazda CX-70 is equipped with a 3.3L turbocharged inline-...
2025 Mercedes-Benz E450 Review / Comfortable, Quiet, and Technologically advanced

The Mercedes-Benz E-class has a long and illustrious history, if you go by what you see on Wikipedia. But the first mention of the E-class name came with the boxy W124 of the 1990’s. Since then, it’s been the go-to car for businessmen who wanted a comfortable sedan or hooligans who wanted a V8 with AMG written on the trunk. Now, the E-class enters its 6th generation. So is this the best one yet...
2024 Mercedes-Benz GLS 580 Review / A big, 3-row, luxury SUV that still has a V8
Переглядів 3,4 тис.Місяць тому
The V8 engine is slowly disappearing. This is most evident in sports cars and supercars but the demise of the V8 is also felt in large, luxury, 3-row SUVs. There’s only about 4 of them left on the market that have the V8 as an option including this 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLS 580. So is this the V8 luxury SUV to get? The GLS is available with a turbocharged inline-6 and two versions of the 4.0L bi-t...

Переглядів 9 тис.Місяць тому
The 4th generation MDX is one of the best-selling models from Acura ever since it was introduced in 2021 as a 2022 model. Now in 2025, it receives a mid-cycle update with one huge improvement over the previous model years. What is it? The big improvement for the 2025 Acura MDX Type-S does not have to do with the powertrain. This SUV is still powered by a 3.0L turbocharged V6 engine which produc...

Ford has given us the F-150 Raptor, the Bronco Raptor, and now they’re giving us the Ranger Raptor. So is this mid-size off-road focused truck just as much fun as its bigger brothers and is the best value Raptor for your money? With the Ranger Raptor, you don’t get a big V8. Nor do you get the twin-turbocharged 3.5L V6 of the F-150 Raptor. Instead it comes with the 3.0L twin-turbocharged V6 tha...

Hallo and thank you for this review. You are right in all that you've said about EX30, but there is one reason to buy this car. No other premium brand offers so much power at this price. It is a simple car, with no luxury stile, but it is powerful. Even electric cars made by ordinary brands are more expensive right now.
As a powerboost owner I can tell you these trucks are amazing. Best of best worlds, tons of power and great gas mileage. I came from a ram hemi, I miss the sounds but nothing else.
Hi, bud! Honest video. I personally use this vehicle, and it’s pretty amazing-especially during winter with heavy snow. It performs really well compared to the CR-V, CX-30, or RAV4. I had an experience where I was following a CR-V at the same speed (55 km/h on a 60 km/h road), and the CR-V crashed into a light post while braking. In contrast, the Eclipse Cross held its ground. With all-season tyres, it gives about 13.5 km/l, and with winter tyres, it gives around 11.5 to 12 km/l, depending on how I drive (just my personal opinion, no offence to anyone! 😊). I bought this vehicle because it’s manufactured and assembled in Japan, and when you drive it for a long time, you can really feel the difference. Nevertheless, it's an amazing video! 😄 Keep up the good work ;)
probably the best car review video I have seen, and I have seen many! Wife wants a minivan, since she had them for 30 years as we raised our family. Odyssey has terrible reliability from reading review, don't want a hybrid so Toyota is out, don't trust Kia, so this will be the one! I have uconnect in my truck, works great. I have driven Ram 1500's for past 10 years, never had one issue with either...
i also have a s60 b5 awd but why dont i have 4 exausts like you? is that a option?
I don't think so. Perhaps it's different depending on the country you're in?
Not finding an answer to this yet: if you get the bench seats in the second row, are they heated seats? Or are only the captains chair second row seats heated?
With the bench seats, it's the outer ones that are heated. Not the middle.
I owned the 2.3L in my 2019 Ranger, and it was more the competent. I never thought it was underpowered. Its reliability was great, and fuel economy was more the i ever expected.I just did regular oil and filter changes on it.
Better comparison would have been a limited tacoma. But the ergonomics dont change. The ranger will make a better utility vehicle as it always The tacoma offers more trim to trim depending on how you spec it and found it to be put together better than the ranger. I'd lease a ranger or buy the taco
I know, but I can't pick and choose the trims of the trucks that the manufacturers choose to put in their media press fleets.
@MGReviewsBlog sorry didn't mean to say you did anything wrong, I know there are limitations with press vehicle! Was more of an FYI. Great video!
@YerBoyTroy oh no worries, I didn't think you did 😊
I really like the editing in the beginning with the beats. Dope.
the only advantage I see is the ford has the plugs in the tailgate other than that tungsten has no other 1500 on its level that comes close! Plus that's not even the fully loaded tungsten!
G70😍😍
This is one of the worst review videos on the internet. YOUR OWN VIDEO shows you go better mileage on the highway but you say somehow every time you drive the highway your mileage dropped? You can’t have it both ways. No vehicle ever has ever had better city mpg… certainly not this thing. Edit the video. Preview the video. Won’t ever follow because you don’t take your own video serious enough to put out correct content. You said 15mpg in the city and 20 on hwy, and avg 15.9… but city was better? Absolute fail. Your math isn’t mathing.
Calm the f down and and listen again to what I said while keeping in mind I'm Canadian so we use L/100km, not MPG. The conversions on the screen are correct at the 3:56 mark. For L/100km, it's better to get lower numbers. That means it's better fuel economy. When I said I saw my fuel economy drop on highways, it means it's better fuel economy. In otherworlds (American words so you can understand), my MPG increased as I drove more on highways and decreased when driving in a city.
@ youre an idiot. You SAID I saw the economy go down when on the highway. FUEL. ECONOMY. WENT. DOWN.
Someones math is off, but its yours 😅😅
Yeah. Noticed the rear seats in the Canadian versions don't have a massage. What were they thinking 🤔
i can smell the coco butter inside that ram truck from here
if the kia stinger was a truck, it would be a RAM
I got a Escape PHEV. The wait on the Rav was crazy, and the Ford was a lot cheaper, not getting the tech pack save $5500, and with 0.5% dealer financing vs 6.4% for the Toyota. My first domestic car and so far really enjoying it.
I have a 2018 Touring Plus S that I bought used about 18 months ago (it has 94k on it now). Issues were known normal stuff (HVAC blend door and passenger side lock actuator) which cost about $50 in parts for both, replaced by me quickly. Backup camera was intermittent, replaced it myself for $230 with OEM part. I'm semi handy with cars, but anyone could fix that stuff. Van drives great, even my anti-minivan wife likes it. Here's the thing - if you need Stow n Go, and I do, there is no other choice than Pacifica or Caravan. My Great Pyrenees dog cannot step into an SUV and no other minivan has the flexibility of this.
@@blautens yes I totally agree with you. I really enjoy long distance trips in my Pacifica. Very comfortable and very much room. I have not had any issues with mine thus far. I have a little over 23,000 miles on it.
You’re serious. I like that. Keep it smooth. You remembered me of Mercedes benz king, relaxed reviews. Not like others UA-camr all hyped up, feels like they have 300+ insulin’s at the moment 😂. Just subscribed ❤
Haha, thanks! This is just how my personality is. Nothing fake.
I need tungsten interior in platinum f150
🌟That Ford with those 22in rims is the bomb💥💥💥
You can power your house with the King Ranch. That screen over the glove compartment is useless. Would have been better to use that space for more storage. And if that large screen goes out in that Ram, like they are prone to do, you are screwed because it is the brain of that truck and runs everything
The EcoBoost needs a manual transmission
100% agree!
Is this the LWB version?
Yes it is
Ford with 5.0 engine
I take the Ford and get a tune for the power deficit....
Just to be able to compare a non Luxury Mazda with A luxury segment with over a 12K price tag difference is a win-win for Mazda. Mazda have come far and the CX-5 is 100 % manufactured in Japan and shipped everywhere. They also over took Toyota lately in terms of Reliability and Low maintenance. All Mazdas also score the IHS top safety in its class. With the New inline 6 - CX -70 & CX- 90 being compared to BMW and other european luxury segment by most Auto reviews shows, Mazda's dedication, craftsmanship, business strategy and staying focused on delivering the best in its class.
Drove them all for few months to finally figure out what is best for me. In the end of my search, I went back to the 25 RAM Laramie and I will say it with zero regrets , RAM is Theee best truck for the money, hands down. I love this truck. On all levels, it puts FORD, GM and Tundra in the pocket. End of story.
You mean it gets put in the pocket of the others since it can't carry as much as either 😅
Really torn on which one I want. I think ill end up with the rf I cannot get over the looks of it mazda knocked it out of the park with the styling on it
Ram rip 🪦
I love all pick-up trucks but my faves are Ford's.
Funny how the Miata guys say the Miata. Doesn’t need any more power. Yet if Mazda built a a Mazdaspeed with 240 hp. They would be at the dealer waiting in line to order. So two faced about it. I sold my BBR club. It was so slow, minivans would be faster at the stoplight gran prix
The MX-5 is not about the stoplight grand prix. If that's all you care about, buy a Mustang.
Japanese car d best👍👍👍👍
@@nelsoncanilao9450 not so sure about that anymore. They used to be I was a fan of Toyota and Hondas for years now the quality has gone down. Probably not as much as American made cars though. Not sure.
Love these can anyone please tell me Has anyone driven both this and a b7 rs4 ? cause in assetto Corsa it feels almost the exact same so epic sedans both
You're doing a fantastic job! I have a quick question: I have a SafePal wallet with USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (air carpet target dish off jeans toilet sweet piano spoil fruit essay). What's the best way to send them to Binance?
Nice try bot
No V8 engine option on FORD KR SB only Powerboost or ECO V6. You tested a 2024 F150 not a 2025 as it had the max recline seats, which have been removed in 2025. For me i would wait on the RAM new I6 before purchasing since it is a new power train.
I meant you can get the F150 in general with a V8... two actually if we're counting the Raptor R.
I own an Ap2 and have driven Mx5 extensively. Honestly the ND Miata is a better car but S2k is more thrilling at the limits, the problem is you can never really enjoy S on public roads.
good job, mate!
I bought a 2023 Ford Escape. I'm totally happy with it. You see a Rav 4 like every 5 seconds on the highway. They are like the Kia Souls. I get more looks because you don't see a lot of this generation Ford Escapes on the road.
My next truck Tungsten 🤩
If I were you, I would wait to see how they handle things under the new leadership direction. My hope is that they bring back the V8 HEMI engine. I own a ’21 Limited, and I’m going to wait it out. I can’t get over the V8 HEMI startup and takeoff sound-it’s unparalleled. Moreover, the new SST motors aren’t significantly more fuel-efficient compared to mpg, and you also need to use 91+ fuel. So, I’ll wait it out.
@ThaDonDeFashion about the same gas mileage but 2 seconds faster , love the v8 rumble but I'll get over it , put a deposit on a Tungsten yesterday
He is comparing a 130 k car to the shitty c 63 lol

Very good video informative and the buzz Unfortunately seems to be a bit of a Disappointment Price and Range , I'll keep my Original 67 !!
Excellent and honest review unlike every car reviewer everything is good nothing bad. Keep up the good work
Agreed
Tons of rebates in the US. Currently awaiting my prologue.
How much are the rebates in the US for the Prologue?
PS- This window is virtually identical to Toyota’s minivan back in the mid-late 1980s, so if you are old enough, this windshield is very familiar.
I was a wee little baby in the late 80's so i don't know much about minivans from back then haha
@@MGReviewsBlog- It was only the Toyota. A friend’s family had one and we referred to it as “the moon van”. Nothing like the Chrysler minivans through the years.
This thing should be a Hybrid. These things were made for road trips and even the Tesla’s are inconvenient for road trips. Every other line of electric cars is basically a non-starter because finding functioning charging stations is a totally unpredictable task.
That is a good point! A hybrid ID Buzz would make a lot more sense as a road trip vehicle for families.
I'd like to put a Super Beetle Engine in it @@MGReviewsBlog
@@MGReviewsBlog but remember they would be expensive for the north american market to compete. If i recal they have a tiguan plug in hybrid with ere in the US with the tarrifs and additional taxes for it being an non american made product, they would loose money
Dudeeee hilarious, nicer in the volvo,.😂😂😂 how much you get paid to say that 😅
$0, how much did you get paid by BMW to post this comment?
Shit 4.5 0-60 is as fast as the 2010-2014 coyote 5.0 that did 0-60 in about 4.5 sec thats insane that a turbo 2.3L is doing same time.
