I've been drinking 1 or more bottles of wine for several days in a row, and I don't get sick as I walk a lot, get plenty of sun and eat healthy. The problem is waking up foggy headed and having a lot of leaky gut issues. I walk a lot barefoot and squat in nature when I poop, so bowel movements are not an issue, but half the time it's the quality/solidity of the poops you're taking. Also, I know alcohol makes you more depressed, though maybe temporarily more happy, but with highs there are lows. What goes up must come down. You should find replacements when you feel tempted. Instead of drinking, do some pushups or go for a long walk. Thank you for your testimony.

We are about the same age Gayle. I think I might be like you and be one of those that don't really notice menopause! Other than my 'mama nap' in an afternoon for 20-30 mins but I always have had that!

Can you tell me if you get used by all around you family friends etc how you can do it
You do get used to it and it does affect you less and less. It's like we discuss in the conversation, mindset is very important and seeing alcohol for what it really is, helps so much.

I have been drinking for awhile and I know this is not good for me. I try to stop so many times. And then I just say well maybe this is who I am , but I feel bad all the time but recently I feel there is something more to my life then this , I started a exercise class and it has help me to drink less but I still feel the need fir a drink when the 6pm ahour comes around. My husband drinks as well so we do spend time drinking together and he has no intention of giving it up .

Well done on going to the class which is helping you to drink less. This is what we want - to bring in more of the good stuff in our lives to lesson the need to drink. After years of struggle I am taking a year off for charity. Possibly forever. 3 weeks in and I'm so focused. A month is the longest I've done before this challenge. I'm only scared of my own mind after the first month is up.
