Fans have to be surprised when the backup kickers make ALL the Field Goals, because Management has lowered our expectations.

Give Moody his Participation Trophy and then his walking papers. Please... This is nothing new... fans have to hold their breath every time Moody kicks.. even really close kicks. No corrective action has been taken, therefore nothing will change,.. S.F. fans and Teammates alike, need to stay prepared for more garbage from "SPECIAL" Teams. At least Deebo hasn't had to publicly apologize for Moody's underperformances.

Wow I had been reading about Nick McLeod's contract situation with the N.Y. Giants in The Athletic. which Dan Duggan mentioned in his reporting and now Nick McLeod is on the 49ers.

Deebo being a punk aside, you can see by looking at the face of anyone on the team that we are in trouble. Not sure at this point we can turn it around. Offense is ok but having trouble getting touchdowns and defense and special teams are just bad. Can’t win them all but we are definitely underperforming as a team. Possible Dre deserved more credit than he got!

Deebo needs to look in the mirror before pointing fingers! Dude hasn’t done anything in 9 games and only scoring 6 points. Hasn’t ran the ball at all and can’t get separation. Juan is outplaying him by a wide margin! Heck Pearsall is out playing Deebo and he got shot! If Deebo wasn’t taking up so much salary without producing anything, we’d be able to afford some depth and special teams players. Moody makes less in a season than Deebo does a game and on his worst game puts up more points than Deebo has all year! Which game has Deebo carried the team and pretty much singlehandedly gave us a victory? None, but Moody did!

I'm with Deebo on this. Taybor Pepper shouldn't interfere with a team captain talking to another player.

I am worried about Moody's body language after missed kicks. Demonstrating the right mindset is important. You have to be positive, strong and "locked in."

Deebo is the WRONG guy to be holding ANYONE accountable. Why are we having to kick so much? Because Deebo fails in the Red Zone because he cannot get separation. Taybor was doing the RIGHT THING sticking up for a teammate that was getting kicked while he was down. The only one that crossed the line was Deebo. Kyle is a POS, siding with his teacher's pet instead of addressing his behavior and blaming Taybor.

Sad seeing players on your own team fall out. Deebo does give his all and should be able to expect better. The long snapper was standing up for his guy. And everyone is fired up. Personally I could have done either. For the team's sake I think that it would be good if Deebo could see his way to telling Moody not to take it personally. Having said that if Moody misses another 3 fgs then you have to wonder about the management's judgement.

I hate the fact that this made news. Two weeks ago there was a legit Brawl between two seahawks players, and there was nothing. Yet Deebo shoves a man who is getting in his face after getting on the Kicker for missing 3 FGs. THATS WHAT YOU ARE SUPPOSE TO DO!!! Moody demeanor that concerns me, doesnt seem to care if he misses or not. He needs to lock in, Which I think thats all Deebo Said.

Pepper was out of line. I am with Richard Sherman in that players must be held accountable for their performance, and Deebo saying it to Moody was not out of line. If Moody was a 7th round pick, he job would probably be gone if he missed that fourth field goal. But he is a third round pick so Shanahan is giving him more rope to either succeed or hang himself out of a job. Players are always saying things to each other to suck it up, get locked in; these are not comments attacking a person. Pepper just took it wrong.

Kyle never goes to a SB without the 1 seed which is already lost. His defense is the weakest its been since 2017. His special teams are atrocious and his offense while gains yards is terrible at scoring TD's. At this point he's either coaching this or allowing it to happen. This game signifies that this is not their year. Cards have an easy path to the playoffs and division. 49ers will fall short. Why? Special teams, a weak defense, and an offense that can't score TD's.

Right now this team will not beat the Lions, too many mistakes. Another muffed punt - totally unacceptable. That is what cost them the Super Bowl IMO. If Deebo thinks players aren’t doing their jobs then I’m ok with that. It may not be his place but this game was closer than it should have been.

Obviously, the players should support each other in a POSITIVE manner. That being stated, Kyle needs to put the TEAM first by replacing Doodie. Errr.. Moody.

Red zone issues and special teams making a lot of games closer than they should be.

I think they need to move on from Moody. Too much of a wildcard. Need somebody more reliable even if they do have a slightly weaker leg. Accuracy > Power

Get a new kicker is what I get out of the 49ers. For the past 2 years. How many critical kicks Moody had missed. If he is not ready to come back, then continue to rest until he is 100%. He and the special team was the ready we were in such a tight game. If Moody didn't miss the 2 field goals in the 2nd half, the Buccaneer not only has to come up with 6 more points to catch up, but also had to start at 25 yard instead of 35.

I love the competitive spirit. Who knows what goes on behind closed doors. That's the way it should be: behind closed doors. I don't like to see players calling each other out in public. It just doesn't look good.

I think that’s a great take. The talent is there, it’s can they pull it together week in and out now. As far as Deebo, he is a very talented guy, but I’ll forgive him getting on other teammates when he starts actually running routes that he needs to be running to pull defenders rather than jogging and giving away that he is not a legit target and blocking like all the other receivers and RB’s do. I certainly anticipate the other captains will not let that nonsense fly.
