Documentary on Amal Kumar Raychaudhuri, the renowned theoretical physicist from Kolkata
We indian celebrates political leaders, celebrities, but dont celebrate scientists... Even in indian movies scientists depiction was somehow mad type.... This mentality actually an obstacle to gain attraction to scientists. Its very sad that scientist like Mr. Amal kumar roychowdhury has spend his whole life for the studies and did not gain a major limelight...! We failed as indian pseudo mentalities..... We really failed.
what a beautiful mind thankyou for such recording beautiful one love you guys
Einstein of Bengal or perhaps whole Asia
CS Unnikrishnan is another physicist from Kerala, who is undergoing the same problem of non-attention and non-recognition in the Indian scientific domains just because he is challenging Einstein's theories.
4:55 even i am interested to read mein kampf
4:54 gold
After 11 year i watched i am 18 years old
A real relativistic.,..
Raychaudhuri equation is used in singularity theorems.
I could féel his love for theoretical physics.......Even after being disguised by so many seniors he was able to reach this level. A great personality 🙏
When there will be no recognization of the brilliants personality then ,the time has come to look over us ,again carefully
Not all heroes wear capes.

🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
After a long time, I again saw this masterpiece. Loved it.

Another reason why Smart guys leave the country. The country don't give shit for it's people.
Classic documentary...priceless
love
Bye Bye Amal😊😊
This really breaks my heart
Professor Raychaudhuri is a joyful being, a sparkling diamond of the realm of Theoretical Physics, a noble soul. I am deeply motivated by him and hope to follow his trajectory of life with few feets ahead, if time permits........... Thank you for bringing such a wonderful documentry video on him.
First of all , in India one can publish his reasearch paper after clearing net exam but in foreign countries one can publish one' research paper during his graduate studies. Half of the time of his life time wasted during this disgusting system. In india , our system focus on marks rather than quality.
Fortune are those who got a chance to got lesson from him
J ai le livre dédicacé de Stephan Hawking chez moi
Comment envoyer la photo sur votre site ? Please
India is country of stupid.
I love physics so much but still not have luck to meet one of greatest physics teacher in history
The fact he's from India and nobody knows him
Excellent documentary on life of a noble human being.
Who's the guy at 35:55?
Arrive pas à la mettre en français ?
*ONE OF THE GREATEST INDIAN SCIENTISTS*
Yep
@26:46 opposite to Jadavpur University gate no 4
@27:12 Jadavpur University PG science Building
Indian education system is corrupt. Running blindly behind IITs and government medical colleges is an ever growing trend.
Thank you very much for making the beautiful biography.
🙏
Brilliant
I feel fortunate that I could find this video and come to know about such a great person 🙏
Inspiration!
Really this is our bad luck that we couldn’t recognize Professor Roychowdhury when he was alive
I'm just delighted that I share the last name as him lol! let me see if I can find any family connection 🙂 RIP Sir! great contribution to physics and to mankind
Why did this man live in such poverty and no recognition? Guess it’s everyone else apart from him to answer…
An excellent and touching documentary
His brother too was a teacher at Presidency college. He taught us physics and his brother taught us chemistry. Good old days!
Thanks for letting me know snout this great man. Very unfortunate that I didn't know, and that such people are not celebrated
What an absolutely delightful documentary! ❤
He looks like my grandfather
Excellent documentary. The humility in academia, that was, seems to be lessening every day.
I feel ashamed and sorry that we didn't recognize such talent. 🙏
