    Singh is fast, but all the dancing around is not street fighting. I get it. It’s sparring, but those guys he was sparring should have intercepted him. Not one leg kick or any kicks were thrown by the opponents. I would have pounded those legs and tied him up. They let him do a lot of what he was doing. Timing people!

    This has nothing to do with sparring. This is called "bullying a guy that is a beginner and has poor technique, to reinforce the narcissistic ego." You deserve to "spar" with that intensity with a real skilled opponent my friend. Bully would get bullied the hard way.

    Guy moves really good! I think it would be a great idea to actually fight an MMA-fighter. Doesn't have to be one of the Diaz brothers or anything but a professional MMA-fighter. Just to see how well he would do. It could put an end to these endless youtube discussions regarding MMA vs Martial Arts. My guess is he would give a pro MMA-fighter a good match, not the best ones though.

      I know why you'd think that, but you're missing the purpose of the exercise. I'll explain. When facing an old aged master, the goal isn't to smash into each and see who is "tougher". Obviously the younger man will win. But what knowledge will ne gained? That younger bones are stronger than old ones? That mean of advanced age can't truly win over fighters half their age regardless of skill? These are obvious truths of time itself. No. See, in these situations the goal is to interact and "play" to see what can be learned. If you understand what to take from these experiences you will learn quite a bit. Focus on the technique, the timing, the choices they make. Take these things and apply them in true pressure tests against fighters your own age. See where and how you can hone your reflexes to make some of what worked in these nice scenarios will work in hard ones. If you ever get the chance to train with old masters like Helio Gracie, I hope you'd give him the room to play and watch him like a hawk, instead of hauling off on him and claiming victory over an old man who deserves way more respect than that.

    • @jamesfrance57
      @jamesfrance57 29 днів тому

      @@ronanscreed Clearly you do not know why I think that. A false sense of security has no place in self-defence or martial arts. Now, I cannot train with Helio as sadly he has passed, but I have trained with Royce and others, and nothing so risky as this is taught to any age.
