Is it odd that so many of us are having this issue at the same time? In the middle of making dinner after a crappy week and I have half raw chicken and an err8 code. I am already dealing with stuck rusty screws trying to replace the inside of the toilet tank and now this. I don’t even know if I feel like this thing won’t catch on fire if I try following directions in Spanish when I don’t know Spanish. I should’ve taken Spanish, auto shop and plumbing in school. 🤷🏼♀️😫 if anyone is laughing at my crappy week so far, that’s a plus!!🤪😂
I just completely ruined my machine trying to take the side panel off because I couldn't figure out how to do it properly. Apparently There are two screws on the bottom and there are two on the handle. You have to remove the handle cover to get to them though. originally, my issue was a bad coil so I bought a new one and replaced it and after I did that I got the error eight. I think I got the error, because when I removed the fan and coil housing there is what I believe is the thermal fuse wrapped in a U shaped plastic like straw, and it's tucked into a slot below the temp gauge in the housing that holds the fan. When you remove the fuse that's in the straw like tube, and then you go to reinstall everything there is no way to fit your fingers back behind the housing and tighten the Lugnut. I think not being able to tighten things back caused the error to appear. In conclusion, they don't want anyone replacing anything, they want us to go out and buy a brand new machine 🙄 You shouldn't have to throw it away because the heating element goes out 🤦♂️
it’s supposed to be to those fuses. You said that you tried the fuses, were they in the lid or did you just try the cables like this man in the video is showing?
Tried this fix but didnt work. Maybe i needed a translator to understand the reason the power was on when he removed the hinge post & then magically makes the err8 message disappear by reconnecting the 2 wires.
First wire he says comes from the resistor, second wire comes from the relay on the left side. He said there are some fuses that he replaced already, but that didn't fix it, so he touched them together and the error goes away. His way of explaining it is kind of hard to understand so I'm not sure why he did what he did, but this is what he said in Spanish. Maybe try finding those fuses and replacing them, cheers.
He said there are some fuses that je already replaced, and that did not fix his issue, so he connected those two wires, one coming from the resistor and the other from the relay on the left. As to why and how that works, I'm not sure, he's kind of vague about it.
I am fixing one for a work friend. I know it has an electrical intermittent short circuit at the hinge which when it shorts trips the earth leakage circuit breaker. I know the short is under the plastic cover at the hinge as I can see the burn spot etc. I reckon it will be repairable. I used some old thin hard plastic wallet cards to prize the plastic cover clips at the handle shown in your video open ( ie the usual method to release such clips). But I cannot yet find a way to get the top part of that plastic cover's ( where the handle is) clips to release. I mean the larger plastic cover from bottom of pot to the hinge ( It's the cover in your great video that you pull away with your hand). I wondered if there might be some hidden screws holding that cover but looking at your video I think there are no retaining screws ? Can you please tell me how you got the upper clips to release ? and if there are some hidden screws, and if yes, how/where to access them ?
I got the plastic cover off. The key point regarding removing the cover is that under the handle shown in your video above there are 2 hidden screws. Your video does not show this, it shown the handle's cover back in place and covering those screws. The handle's outer cover is removable (one can prize it off) and when removed one immediately sees those 2 screws beneath. Once those 2 screws are taken out there are a few more obvious screws on the base of the fryer plastic cover to remove. Then use some eg old plastic loyalty or business cards or similar to prize open the plastic clips open on each side along the vertical length of the large plastic cover. I found that the 2 plastic clips located on each side and nearest the hinged part of the Ninja were the most challenging to lift and release. One then has better access to remove the smaller upper cover on the upper side of the pot hinge/hood too if necessary. Some of the cables on my pot are shorted at the hinge ( due to usage) and I will replace that damaged section of cable with new appropriately sized and durable cables.
Well, you need to change the fuse of the air fryer, and do a bridge between that 2 red cables, that's the resistance power of the air fryer, just do a bridge and that's it. Saludos mi compa 🐻❄️
I'm sorry but this kind of fryers are here in my country I didn't know that this fryers are sold in other countries. I'll try to translate the video soon.
Que porquería de tutorial. No muestras mi el fusible ni como se cambia.
Si mon el solo hace como un reseteo pero al poco tiempo vuelve el error 8 no jodas

Thanks for just rubbing it in our faces that you fixed it 😂
Que porqueria de vídeo Al final no explicas una mierda 🙄🤦🏻
I tried it did not work and like you.Said the red wire was already eight together but I unsnapped it and Retide them did not resolve issue
i’m pretty sure the fuse is in the lid and those red cables that he’s showing go to them.
Tutorial muy malo
Muy muy mal 😂 No explicó nada
Deberias explicar como desamblar las partes Para poder reparar
Any idea whats code 8 is? Tried fuse but didnt work. Also those red wires already connected! Why to disconnect them?!

It’s in Spanish. Do you have one in English??
I need it in English
I need it translated into English
Nadie muestra como cambian los fusible

Dónde se consiguen los fusibles?
En Steren se consiguen.

By any chance, did u make a video?
@@gerardkenny8882 did it work?
Hard to tell from your video if you actually fixed it or not. What was wrong with it and what did you do to fix it? Thank you
Why do these keep being in Spanish
