I think the buttons were also tricks too. We learned that the buttons name basically implies you'll blow up if you press them. But people can't die in dreams so there's no harm in actually pressing them. I believe the button was another way to get to true penacony, by summoning Sleepy. We learned the trigger to summoning him is believing you will die in the dream and he will appear and 'carry' them to the other side. And if you pressed the button either you doubt it will happen and thus nothing does. Or you believe it will kill you and thus Sleepy shows up. It just goes to show that so far the Masked Fools have always been there meddling in every main plot in the story and lore, always getting the last laugh

Ah, i feel kind of fall in love with the lore of this game. Mihoyo did a very great job to the world building. I like scifi theme more than fantasy such genshin. I still waiting the next great show from mihoyo to us.

I think it’s unwrapping Jade’s framing of what sets the Stonehearts and Stelleron hunters apart a little more. Desire is (almost literally) how she sees the world so it makes some sense that she’d frame it in terms of desire. While other places it’s described more along the lines of the Stonehearts having something missing, a void they want to fill. Then again Jade is keenly aware of desires and seems to be aware that the Stelleron Hunters are also working for personal goals, but she still outlines the contrast. Maybe it’s as simple as the amount of comradely and care being different. Maybe it’s a contrast that the Stelleron hunters wish for certain outcomes, as opposed to material desires. It’s a very interesting line in any case.

imho the stones in sugilite's plates are more likely to be sugilite than lapis lazuli, it's more of a purple hue and lapis lazuli has no tints of purple

FINALLY someone who doesnt paint Diamond as an evil guy just because he's a head in the IPC... i get kinda crazy when people blame him for the IPC's wrongdoings when most of the time, it's actually Oswaldo Schneider, who he clearly is opposed to.

I dislike Oswaldo and I can't wait for him to show up so we can beat him up, but I'm also fascinated. It's always interesting to analyze villains and what made them side with the forces of evil, or do something terrible but the fact that this guy use to be a Nameless adds an extra layer of intrigue. How do you go from traveling between planets, witnessing the stories of its inhabitants and hanging out with different people, to being okay with genocide? And what makes it stranger is that he apparently still holds on to the will of the Trailblaze. It could be greed and he's just lying about still holding on the will of Trailblaze, however there's also the possibility that he believes in a more twisted version of it and is confusing Trailblaze and a certain C word. I can't wait for the Star rail team to run into him, it'll either be an interesting conversation or it'll be frustrating to hear the man talk.

I'm really hoping Opal isn't an actual baby. It would be cool if he was an alien that has to eat minerals or precious stones to go into a enhanced combat state.

one thing i noticed is about how the cornerstones are cut from the ending scene, with pearl being the only one having a round cut (because obviously it’s a pearl) whereas jade, opal, sugilite, amber, and agate have an oval, smooth cutting, aventurine and topaz have an oval, multifaceted cutting and obsidian and sapphire have a teardrop cutting, and as of now, there are zero known connections we can make out between them
