Hi Kim, I truly appreciate what you are doing for the community at large. Gardening is so wonderful and it amazes me how even people just passing by and those making deliveries and meter readers (back when they came onto the property) expressed appreciation for the beauty of my garden years ago. So, thank you very much for the community you've started. Unfortunately there appears to be some more glitches to be worked out at your gardening community. At first I couldn't find my first post (but that could've been me not being tech savy hehe) and then after posting a 2nd one I found it, but then the screen started flashing. May all go well for you!

I’m so happy for you!! ❤ I’ve been following you since the very beginning, and what a blessing it’s been to see your growth. I’m so grateful to be apart of this beautiful community that you’ve built around the joy you share in the gardening space. I’ve actually started my channel here to create a space like the space you created. You inspired me to go forth and create a space of community where I can share my compassion for other beginner gardeners, like myself, and display my garden through documentation all year round. My channel is a product of the environment you created all because of the contagious joy that overflows within you. Thanks for all of the work and effort you’re doing to create joy for others through what you do❤ Forever supporting you, friend ❤ Sincerely, Julia❤ Edit- for the past year and a half, two years I’ve been watching your videos but I just realized that I wasn’t subscribed on this channel that I was inspired to create because of you. I was subscribed on my personal channel❤ Now you’ve gained two subscribers from one person😂

Last summer was my first for herbs, but I only planted Tulsi Holy Basil around my tomatoes along with Marigolds to control pests and those awful tomato hornworms! Then, I saw someone making basil tea, and I was hooked! I brought my healthiest plant inside to over-winter. It’s still living, but not growing like it does outside. My old house pretty much stays on the chilly side. I do think it’s going to make it, so I will be able to put it back in the garden this spring. It was my winter experiment. I do have some other herbs I will try this year. I’ve really gotten interested in having my own medicine grown in my backyard. It’s all new to me, but I’m looking forward to learning all I can about growing, harvesting, and using herbs! ~~Lisa

The problem is the SIZE of the tree! In a lot of situatuions, the tree is planted in an area too small, or trees planted close together. People want MANAGEABLE trees in thier driveway or next to a walkway... Not a 30 foot tree. They get big and we tend to want control their size. Thats is the reason for so many topped off trees. These trees need space to naturally grow... and most people dont have the space.

Hi Kim. My father and I are out here in Grays Creek NC near Hope Mills and Fayetteville in Cumberland County. Wondering where you are. We have been talking about starting a food garden - we do the inedibles already. We are both senior and our back yard is often spongy creating a fall risk for both of us. I am thinking of investing in containers for gardening but - that will be a bit of an investment. Still - to get fresh produce it may well be worth it. Especially now. Just finished with our privacy fence. My Father and Mother lived here 18 years without a fence. I wanted to put some built in bookcases in one of the rooms but given the changes happening thought it better to enclose our property behind a fence. We have subscribed to your channel. I have been wanting to plant a self pollinating crab apple on the property but unsure if it will do well. It says zone 3-9. But our peach trees haven’t done super well. We have a pine break that we may need to trim out to let more sun in. What do you think about the crab apple here in 8a?
