North Texas and DFW are the worst possible places you could choose to live in. Those of us who were born here hate the place. 1-The eastern 1/3 of Texas is uninhabitable for 7 months of the year due to heat and humidity. 2-Jan, Feb, March are usually a disaster of cold, wet, ice. 3-The only good months in Texas are April, May, and November, December - but there is a catch. You get tons of rain and wind for April and May. November and December are all rain with less wind. You really only get about 8-10 weeks each year of decent weather. 4-Texas has no building codes so housing is not built to heat in the winter or cool in the summer. The Central Big Government of Texas is populated with Libtards so they don't create any rational building codes. 5-The corrupt cities in Texas give out building permits for 2 and 3 story houses. Heat gets trapped in your house to an extreme in the summer, you have to turn off your water for a couple of months each year or else your upstairs pipes will freeze. A modern central AC system in Texas is incapable of cooling your house if it has more than one level. Insulation for housing is inadequate. There should be zero or very few windows on a house in Texas. Unfortunately the city governments allow the fake home builder companies to build garbage housing. 6-There are no building codes in Texas. All the housing is crap. 7-ALL the cities in Tarrant, Denton, Dallas, and Collin County (the DFW area) and the roads were designed to service human populations as there were in the 1950s, 1960s, 1970s. There are five times more people in DFW than it can handle. If you want to hear highway traffic, gunshots, drag racing, dogs barking, helicopters, and other disruptions at 3AM then this is the place for you. 8-Every county and city in DFW is infested with vagrants. They will panhandle in parking lots, harass and assault everyone, clog intersections with placards, enter you neighborhood at night to steal and do home burglaries. 9-Prostitutes use public transportation (DART) to travel to public parks and meet clients for sex and drug dealing. 10-1-5% of all single-family housing in Texas is used by Drug Cartels to do human trafficking, drug trafficking, identity thefts, gambling, prostitution, automobile thefts, chop shops, fending fronts for stolen merchandise. DO NOT RELOCATE TO DFW. HOUSTON and AUSTIN are worse than DFW so don't go there. These people are 2 faced. All of them. It’s 2024 when I make this comment, sadly I don’t think I’ve seen Stratford, Movenpick, and DDT Sky Tower materialize at all. Though I think The Estate Makati is making progress, we’re just anticipating if it will surpass the height of Discovery Primea. Also another tower to take note of is Park Central South Tower, Makati. Rumored to be taller than Discovery Primea, though imo it’s hard to tell since certain angles of the Makati Skyline might make the illusion of the tower looking short.
