You went through the complete removal of the transmission drive gear set to upgrade to to a six speed. But I am asking after all that disassembly why did you not remove the drive gear and replace the drive gear inner and outer drive gear bearings along with the small and large drive gear bearings as they are a common wear/failure item especially with a older bike with miles on it.

Engines need an air filter.

There is nothing wrong with venting to the air cleaner. If you have that much oil coming from the crankcase vent going up the line to the air cleaner, you have far worse problems!

I would check the catastrophic converter🤔

99 Fat Boy here. Pretty sure that vent goes to the horse shoe oil tank but not sure which line goes where. Bottom of tank is oil pump feed, return and vent lines are at the top but not sure which is vent. Great video, Thanks.

Too late, I did the 1K on my ‘23 Heritage Anv model.

I'm not a Harley guy, but why would this be wrong.Positive crank pressure goes up to intake vacuum. Done on many other bikes, small engs, cars, ect for eons.

Lol everytime my bike pukes a little oil on the floor after it cools off, I always gotta remind myself that the alternative is a big ugly catch can or char broiled internals.
