What a sick video !!!!
@@19Jharris 🙏🏼Thanks for watching!! 😜🤟🏼
Nice to see ya kicking it old school Bryce. Check out a log arch. Makes life a bit easier to use the tractor for removal. Gotta love the second gen dodge though.
@@andrewhoward2678 😜🤟🏼 Always rocking the big Dodge as back up!!! Those log arch would be great when there is no snow so the logs don’t pick up any rocks.. gravel kills the bandsaw
16:00 Why didn't he saw it down and instead of adding those wedges, everyone?
Just my 2 pence but always wear a helmet they’ve saved more lives than a chain break in my opinion also keep your saw away from the dirt (or snow in your case)
@@sanjay0196 great point! I typically would, just didn’t have mine that day. There are some great helmet options out there, especially the ones that have hearing protection and a face guard attached. 👍🏻 I’ll stress that in my next video. Thanks for watching!!
I didn't know it's all about fashion! What saw did you have to start? I thought you were going to explain that real men don't trust plastic saws with chain brakes.
@@alisaproctor7725 🤣 the first saw was an old Homelite. It’s definitely all about fashion lol, ask any hipster! I will admit that newer saws have pros and cons. Pro.. a working brake is mandatory, once it’s a habit to use it. Con.. plastic, although light, tends to get brittle in the cold and after breaking lots of expensive parts I am certainly more cautious then I would have been with a tougher old saw. Thanks for watching!
@@PROJECTLAMONT Keep those chips falling.
Good video. Alot of great knowledge. Subscribed
@@Mainelyoffgrid Thank you!! I hope to put out more videos of our off grid living experince.
do you even work for CN anymore???
@@briangaudet6268 🤣 maybe if I get enough sleep subscribers I won’t have to 🙏🏼😜🤞🏼
If I wear a polo will the tree kill me?
Polo shirts typically don’t offer the same level of protection that a classic plaid design will. My experience is that it could also increase the risk of getting lost in the forest and becoming hypothermic.😜🤟🏼
@@PROJECTLAMONT what if I pop my collar, will that help?
@@ebouwman034 It might help until your rescuers have a chance to locate you 😜
that was outstanding- I have a few of those items and enjoy Rubin as well-
I'D LOVE TO SHOW YOU MINE!! Sincerely, Amit Kshirsagar, Ann Arbor, Michigan - amost1972@gmail.com I HOPE YOU WILL REPLY SOON!!
I have the Coy and Vance lunchbox in mint condition...and the general Lee and sheriff car wrist racers
love that record player!
Pacific northwest Indians would take the juice from the young fiddleback fern heads to counter react the stinging nettles bit!
Nice! I find also if you grind up horsetail and rub it over the nettle it also relieves the sting
snotballdinkweed Thanks for that info!
Is that a 60/40 mercury jet
Yes it is, it's been a great reliable motor
@@brycel3295 how fast deos it go?
Fasted I’ve clocked it off a GPS was 39km/ph with 3 guys
@@PROJECTLAMONT wow!
Did you make that council
would love to see how the floor plan is setup. considering build something like this myself...for the price some people want for their jet sleds i might as well build my own
I have a trash bin of the Duke's of Hazzard .
Awesome Duke's of Hazzard record player!!! Nice collection!!
Cool 😎
That currents pulling u fast what river are u on
3:00 and 3:12 😂
Is Loop American Made?
awesome boat. i was thinking about building one too. would love to see more vids of this boat.
the weight of the boat?
The motor (Merc 60/40) is about 275lbs, and the boat can't weigh more than 500lbs .. So total under 1000 lbs for sure.. I can muscle It around alone and you don't even feel it when towing
How fast
What is the collect worth now?? no more Dukes toys with flag.
Roger Pauley Hopefully a lot more! ha ha ...so dumb!
Well I lost my Blade 350QX with out a Gopro on it, the GPS systems on these Quads are just cheap versions of Navigation Gps and do not hold the satellite's like your car nav's
Do all camera's have this problem?
Do you have a link to download this template. Went to the website and can't find it. Thanks Found it www.hovership.com/2013/03/26/shielding-a-gopros-emi-rf-noise/
You got it...works great!
maybe run your footage through an image stablizer. you will be surprised at how much it adds to the shot. cheaper than getting a gimbal for that phantom, although that's the next step. cool shots! thnx for sharing.
Thanks for the idea...Got a gimble..now just have to get out! ha ha ...and get some more batteries!
yeah for sure. i have 4 batts now. had three but three is really the minimum as i see it because sometimes it's very cold where you are and i noticed that at 25% batt life the craft wanted to behave oddly/inconsistently (2 near fly aways, or so it seemed at the time i'm still a novice). so i return home at 30% batt life to be safe and when you do that you have about 15 min max fly time per batt.
chmith27 Good call! ha ha ...mine has had a couple big crashes..one on land ..and one in the river...fortunately got it back from the river and no issues! ..the land crash was a different story! lol
wow you put her in the drink and it turned out well? i will say the darn things are pretty tough.
Any electronics held over the GPS antenna would have the same impact. You're much better off shielding the underside of your GPS antenna than wrapping up any electronics nearby.
About time for another jet boat video.
You can say that again! ha ha ...need to get out more often
The more I see spey being done, the more I wonder why it isn't the standard method of casting. There's so many places where you just don't have room for a back cast. As for the fish. If it's feeding on eggs from a pair of spawning salmon, you'd probably have to step in it to make it move.
So happy I found this! Thanks, I will give this a go and hopefully no more problems with my Quadcopter going rodeo on me.
Solved it for me...glad it might help! ...I like to call it the toilet bowl effect...as it spiraled out of control
Last I checked you can turn off the GPS location on the Gopro in the options...
Not sure about GPS locations on the Gopro, mine has no GPS ability....maybe you mean Wifi ? Either way it is with the Wifi OFF and before it's even recording...just when the camera is on...I think the video covered that...everything works awesome with the foil shield though. Thanks for checking out the video! :)
I could be wrong, think its the new sony action cams you can turn off the GPS and the WiFi. Seems like a needed feature for the gopro if it has issues.
Wayne Gassmann The Wifi on the Gopro is optional to turn on and off...this issue is present with it on or off...the camera puts off a radio frequency either way...and yes, it does seem to be a fault that Gopro is aware off but states that it is well within the regulations for RF (radio frequency) emissions...even though it has issued a warning not to wear the Chesty Mount over an Avalanche beacon for winter backcountry enthusiasts! www.backcountryaccess.com/2012/11/19/issw-2012-avalanche-beacons-and-electrical-interference/
where abouts is this?
pretty sweet, just imagine if there was actually some fish in the system!!
Ha ha...ya was a tough spring...they are all waiting for summer too I guess! lol
thanks for this one!
Ha ha Thanks Dan...an oldie but a goody! Glad the snow is finally on its way out to get out for another great spring harvest! ...not to mention fishing!
that is very cool !
Nice Car! Thanks! The tape on the plastic wrap part is cool. I have a mobius and have much weaker interference, but it is some. I didn't want sticky stuff all over my camera. This is a excellent solution.
that's awesome and nice car!
Thanks Mitch!
You can always trust the information provided by a man with a General Lee in his garage.
Ha ha! True fact! lol
What river is that? Cool vid btw
A bunch of different rivers in the Cariboo region of BC.Thanks!
Man you guys have the life ! Ill get up there one day ! What kind of boat is that in this video ? Thanks !
Very nice video, shared! Powerful song as well, who plays it?
Thanks! the music is from "A Tribe Called Red"
Try using sticky back copper tape ( or aluminium tape ) on the outside of the GoPro plastic housing. It will look much neater and won't interfere with taking out the camera, SD card in/out or charging of the camera etc. Or if you have the patients then open up your 350-QX and line the interior base with copper or aluminium tape, that way you won't even have to mod your GoPro at all. The GoPro's interfere with other GPS signals of different Quadcopters as well, not just the Blade 350-QX.
Will this work with the Phantom 2 also
Jay Byron I don't see why not...all its doing is masking the radio frequency produced by the gopro...haven't heard of the Phantoms having any issues, maybe a stronger GPS, still a safe way not to find out! ha ha
Cool. Nice car too!
What video settings are you using on your GoPro? The video quality looks very good.
This was actually only on 720 because I have it snapping photos every 5 seconds as well.
What mount did you use on your truck?
What kind of head are you using?
Wow sorry for the late reply Gabe! ...At the time I was using an Airflo Rage Compact 390
ok cool thanks!
@@PROJECTLAMONT what sink rate??
What river!?
good job dude..i have many spey rods..including the loop yellow line..my personal opinion is that scagit is way to heavy...i throw a 570 gr. scagit and it could be even lighter on that rod..that rod really throws a scandi compact fantastic,,from airflo..also 570gr.. learn how to cast a scandi head..this way its your technique employing a great cast,,and not just relying on the mass weight of the scagit head to get the job done..practice practice practice is the name of this game..
