Damn nice one-handed backhand counters Will. Amazing reaction. Aizec had some good points as well. One thing I noticed is that he lacks pace and pow on his overheads. For a tall person like him, he definitely has more in him to put those high overheads away. More wrist snap on those smashes. Good Match guys.

Thinking about a Ruby switch now that there are several now Kevlar paddles on the market. This one definitely caught my eye, since I tend to play more aggressive on drives and at the kitchen line. Would you recommend the Azul as a replacement over other options like the J2K? Maybe a Kevlar comparison video might be something that would gauge a ton of interest!

Great example of solid 5.0 competition! I'd say that the first game had some shaky thirds by the A-W team. Seems like the perfect third was being attempted rather than just a descent third to improve position with minimal chance of missing. IMO, it's best to consider the third as a progression to the kitchen rather than a full invite. The progression might require a 5th and even a 7th, but that's much better than a missed 3rd. Perfect example of this strategy being successfully implemented is the point at 4:28. The first game J-A were over-hitting a number of balls long, but who can blame them when using those Selkirk plywood paddles. ;) They dialed them in better for game 2 though. Very entertaining match and congrats to A-W for the hard fought win! What does it say when Will's personal video production quality is 100x better than PPA's? UPA should immediately hire Will in a consulting role to up-level their video production quality! As Jimmy Miller recently so eloquently described PPA's video quality: "It's a shit show!" I couldn't agree more.
