deck is fun sadly not competitive enough because all they need to do is keep a removal on hand
I win games even in this video where they immediately remove the first kadgir :)
What website is the online game play? I’m new to the game
Boardgame arena
Does the Kraken change the region type on the tumult as well? If i have a counter on a tumult region that is just Mountain, will i still advance with the kraken ability that changes everything to water?
You will not advance, that is the whole deal- everything cares only about water while kraken is out
This deck shouldn't have a place in the competitive meta - in real-life games, this deck will go to time every round. BGA needs to impose a time limit to avoid games taking forever to conclude
I looked at the last ten games I played. Average game time was 20.8 minutes, with a max of 26 minutes. The time I took, as the Akesha player was avg 7.5 minutes, max 10. Is this too long? What time limits would you set that any of these would meet?
For context, eyeballing, my average game takes around 15 minutes, period. So these are longer, for sure - but not excruciatingly so; just by 5 minutes.
I can only speak of the games I have seen with this deck... perhaps I am way off and those players had an inability to end the game, or just wanted to keep casting Celebration Day 'for fun'. I am personally not that bothered about it as I tend to play decks that have an answer to this kind of thing in the way of permanent removal, but I'm not convinced it's a strategy that is healthy for the game.
@@emergentellio There is usually a big difference in time taken between casual games and event games. Bigger stakes = bigger time taken for each game action. You will see a lot more games get closer to time even with more midrange decks. Ive even seen aggro decks get close to tie breaks in events. And this deck, more often than not, will crumple to a tiebreak as its style is lose early then use celebration loops to lockdown the opponent and win. So opponents are almost incentivised to take their time and correctly think through each action with maximum scrutiny. making sure they get as many steps ahead as possible. Because tie breaks favour them. Most events run a 30 minute round timer which already feels tight on time some games. You are also playing digitally which speeds up game actions phenomenally. So a paper deck in a stakes event where thinking time is needed you're almost begging for a tie break finish with this deck.
I don't think 30 minutes per game is a barrier for this for single games, but 2/3 50 minute could be, and I think your point on tiebreak is great! I think one of the flaws of the deck is that you are victim to your *opponents* thinking and stalling; so even if you are quick, in a competitive paper meta, you can fall victim to your opponent taking 20 minutes of time for your 10 minutes.
Is there a reason for only 2 Bastions instead of 3 if its the base of the deck? Mostly asking for deck building tips. This build really is awesome and wondering why you went for 1 or 2 vs three of certain cards. Most of my decks have 3 of everything and i find it hard to know when to drop certain cards to 2 or 1.
Also any reason why only 12 rares instead of 15?
They said are def 15 rares! The 2 bastion is a good question. I could see argument for 3 so you could put early one into mana. The main thing from me is that it's very expensive, and it doesn't do anything by itself. If you draw celebration day late without tower, you at least can cast the celebration and get another turn. Tower without a celebration day can be a dud draw if you're in a rough spot, even if it is the most important cards in the deck.
HE IS BACK. I see why you hid this video from me.....
Oh yeah, everyones favorite hostage akesha gameplay, so glad this isnt meta
You take a long break and come back with this atrocity i hate facing this on BGA when im trying to get in a quick game lol
Sorry for being the bad guy ♥️
Finally! I've been looking for Months for a Yzmir bastion's deck! Just a quick question: which decklist would you reccomend? This or the Kraken's one you published? Also, I have 0 uniques, what can I play instead of those 3 cards?
This one for sure! For replacing uniques, I'd probably go with something like 2 Alice and an additional Sakarabru
@@emergentellio Thanks a lot!! I'll try to get the last cards I need (conjuring seal, 1 bastion and 1 celebration day), because there's a Christmas Tournament here and I want to give my best with akesha! Thanks for your hard work!!!
@@giuliorazzano474 I've tried my best with the no unique, 2 Alice and 1 Saka deck and went 4-1 so far. I think it works nicely without uniques, so good luck! :D
@@noriim55 thanks! I'll try it too then!
Interesting. Why not playing Alice for the After You to play kadigir?
What would you suggest replacing?
May be kadigir Alchemist
Hello Sir , my King 😊🤴🏻 I like your Video a lot , you make a great job. I wish you merry Christmas and happy Holidays
You should play with lyra skald as well
I'm wary of skald for the same reason I'm wary of spycraft - I really don't want a key Kadigir or similar to end up vulnerable in resupply.
@@emergentellio just dont use her effect lol, she is there for the support ability to get out kadgir a turn sooner

How works against Afanas and Treyst?
Thank you, have you considered scarabot hub ?
Been, tinkering with this kind of idea for sometime now, well theoricly. need to try out xd
Wow! This list sounds amazing! Just a small question: is there any scenario where the Permanent is actually useful? I'm pretty new to the game, so i find myself almost never realizing what the opponent can do or can't do. Love the video, absolutely subscribed for more.
i did a really good job ! fun idea, well build deck, and smooth explanation
Would you run the Rare version of the Ada Lovelace for a guaranteed draw, or is the vulnerability of playing characters from the Reserve too risky?
I would definitely run it in many treyst builds - at the time of making this I did not own the rare versions, which is part of why I went with this build. If you go for a heavier lean on Rare ada lovelace, you can also lower the landmark count in the deck.
Great video. Do you have maybe this decklist on official site or altered.db? Unfortunately, the provided website needs registration to see it.
the mutliple missplays make it hard to watch...Especially when they are not pointed out!
Do you have an example of a misplay? Especially ones not called out?
Which hero is your favorit , Sir ? ☺️🤴🏻
I really like Muna Sir 😀🤣
You are a such cool person 😎🤴🏻 Sir , I really like your Videos
Hello Sir 😎 I really like your Videos
Discovered your channel couple days ago and it's great, man. Some of the best Altered content out there ! I love the original decktechs and game explanations This one in particular as 30min feels perfect to have the tech and a few games
Thank you so much! Do the longer ones seem too long, do you think?
I think 20-30min is the sweet spot
what about if I don't have the unique cloth dancer? Can I just run only x3 cloth and x3 cappella train?
Yeah for sure
Really interesting ! Keep up the good work 🤘
Yesss gameplay
Really good video. Your explanations are interesting, the rhythm is good. We need more Altered content so keep it up!
Super cool deck! Great game play and commentary!
Love the editing and overlays for the deck overview. Nice job!
Interesting build. Thanks for sharing. Keep up the good content.
With every video you surpass the last one, you are definitely one of the best theory crafters
Thank you for the very kind words. Trying to level up in some way each video.
Really clean way of presenting your decklist, love it keep the good content.
Thank you! First time doing it this way and was hoping people would enjoy it
@@emergentellio its actually very redeable this way, while I find the deckbuilder very uncomfortable to look at
Really interesting build. I like that you're making cloth dancer's iffy stats work with the Teija boost. Deck with surprises.
I love the way that Teija makes the 0 stats much less of a problem - feels a lot better than in Lyra
You have now given me a handful of new Muna chase cards
New chase Muna rares!
i have tried teija with sabotage/fleeting and its a lot of fun. axiom reprocessor is gas too, especially if you played an anchored character turn 1.
I've done a little reprocessing in Arjun
@emergentellio would you recommend a build like this with Arjun? Say you have 3 cloth dancer uniques that give fleeting at dusk and on play. Or stick with teija?
I would love to try it and if I had 3 of them I would definitely try it. Arjun is not at the top of the Muna tier, but I plan on trying some things with him soon and I think he's underrated. Without at least 2 at dusk uniques though, I'd feel better about teija with this strategy. In particular, raising the 0 star forest to 1 is often quite nice.
@emergentellio thanks for the reply. I only have one at dusk unfortunately, but two on play. And two lack mountain instead of forest
Mas, this second game was so sick. Never thought I would see a waru deck that would leave more tilted with cards other than Robin Hood.
Yeah I wasn't even mad tbh. At least it wasn't stock Waru list
