I have no camera. All pictures are shot with my cell phone. Sorry for the quality of these videos!
Working on fabric!

Instaling new fabric but some material's back order!
The dreaded question... How many hours did you have in it??? OMG. I'm heart broken for you. All the thoughts coming to my head guessing why you sold it... Wife, Kids, Risk? Uhg. I wish you well in all cases. BEAUTIFUL JOB. I've built RC models most of my life and even helped on a few real life planes and recovering jobs. Tempted to build one of these, or maybe something a bit bigger, like a J-3 Full size replica.
Sadly I have to say that I've never fly it. Just hope the new owner will have more chance !
You are like me, get something so close to flying and I always end up needing that cash for something else 😂
I was glad I had the cash but it was not the prime reason I sold it !
@@Manu-bk7gh I’m 36 and still trying to make mine lol. It’s always my prime reason for selling! What’s next on the agenda?
@@joshc7091 I'm thinking to see if it's possible I could design a small airplane on my own!
I don't know why youtube recommended me this but I feel it. Selling a passion project sucks. On to better things though!
You're an inspiration
Thank you !!
Weird that youtube recommended me a slideshow of a guy selling his half-built plane out of nowhere.
same lol
Good luck no matter what your next project in life may be
très beau travail
Use a Rotax 277 so you don't need a medical under Faa part 103
In Canada you need a medical for any thing that fly! No matter the weight or speed or anything!
bo travail
why would you leave this outside? what did you expect to happen?
It's been out for a few hours to shoot pictures of it since it was up for sale. When I saw thr storm coming in , it was to late. Wasn't expecting hail!
Bravo..nothing helps to me to understand the construction better than this !
I'm really interested in the Himax as an airplane project. I wish your videos were much longer with spoken building details so a guy could get to know what it's like to build. Unfortunately your channel doesn't seem to be that. Too bad
ua-cam.com/channels/sIifs4QXJPuN961UmxhuHQ.html I'm sorry you don't like. I'm not a good speaker and even lest a good video maker. Try the link I send to you, you will like it Good luck!
👏👏👏👏
EMPUJALO....😂😂😂
Where did you find your landing gear?
Made IT myself
Good subscriber
Очень печально.....
great job, pleasing to the eyes
Супер.
Very good progress!
Thank You!
keep going always there to support ur work...
Thank you for those words!!
👌👍
I'll never forget the thrill of getting my KR-1 running. I know how it feels!
There are some RC model airplanes approaching that size nowadays
Yes, that's right!! Lolll
I know a guy that has a half scale cub with a snowmobile engine
OMG the engine is actually taking power off the actual PTO end of the crankshaft! Cool
Engine type
VW
Nice
i coment thiss for algoritm yt learn what things show to this gamer generation
Lovely ! I really like VW aero conversions; especially GP.
Vidéo totalement inutile !!! vidéo poubelle
Content que ça ne te plaise pas!
Ну и???
What is this a Fisher?
IT's a Himax from Team minimax
Nice 😊
I think there's something missing in the front :D Great looking build.... get're done ! I bet she is going to be a sweet flyer. (the plane... and maybe your daughter LOL)
Its got a beam engine mount, just like so many RC planes, I wonder what size OS Max engine would bolt on!
Great job 👍. Try building a legal eagle ultralight and keep it within part 103. Then you can get in the air without the red tape. Best of luck to you and happy landing's 👍
Edvard Vogrinec
need some lube on those hinges
Lolll
Sorry to see the damage, but happy to see it's on the mend.
Good morning mate! I would like to ask a question. i want to build a himax and i don't know if i will fit inside it. I would like to know how tall you are? your stature? is it comfortable inside a himax?
I am 5'― 10" and about 250 pounds. It's a little tricky to get in but once you'r inside it,s roomy enought and very pleasant.
@@Manu-bk7gh THANK YOU SO MUCH
@@diegoalexandredasilva You'r welcome!
Triste résultats, la structure est intacte heureusement.
Malheureusement beaucoup de petites pièces sont cassées!
Oh no, I'm so sorry about that
Finally an update. What happened?
Hail storm!
@@Manu-bk7gh I am so sorry to hear that. You have a Patreon account where we can support you?
@@bljuzga No account. It will take somme time may be but I 'll fix it !
Would a packing tape dispenser work? You can get fairly thick/tough clear packing tape that might be better than duct tape. Also I just wanted to note your turtle deck is the nicest one I've seen on a Hi Max. www.staples.com/Scotch-Commercial-Grade-Shipping-Packing-Tape-1-88-x-54-6-yds-Clear-4-Pack/product_392941
That is heart breaking. Sorry to see that.
OMG whats a disaster! By the way: did you fly with this himax? I’ve being following your channel, but haven’t seen any flight. Hope you recover it soon!
Didn't fly it yet!!
I Just Watched Part One & I Can't Believe You're Building A 4-Cylinder VW Hi-Max! You Lucky Duck! It Looks Great How You Shaped The Top Of The Fuselage From Behind The Cabin To The Vertical Fin. That Looks So Much Better Than Others I've Seen. Please Excuse An Old Man From Sounding Like A Kid. I Just Always Wanted One But Don't Have The Carpentry Skills (Or Money) & I Hope There's A Part Three . . .
From one old man to an other I'm glad you like it. Unfortunatety I will not fly it. I couldn't have my medical so no flying lessons!
@@Manu-bk7gh Hey Man, I'm Very Sorry To Hear That But Couldn't You Fly It In A Rural Area In Uncontrolled Airspace & What About Part Three?
It Looks Really Good & THANKS For Not Using Annoying Music Like So Many UA-camrs. It's Apparent That Carpentry Skills Are A Must & It's Not Nearly As Easy As The Kit Manufacturer's Would Have You Believe. I Always Wanted A Hi-Max With A 4-Cylinder VW Engine But I've Never Seen One . . .
It is not that hard. Just take your time. Piece after piece!
probably because it is not rated for either the power or the weight !
@@captlarry-3525 Yes it is!! Get informed!
@@Manu-bk7gh real nice job,, it's been years ago I helped a friend build one. Very nice design. He loved his. During testing he said it was all he could do to keep it on the ground. Good luck
How is the construction progress? I intend to build a Hi-Max here in Brazil and use the same engine, a full VW, with 4 cylinders and I would like to have news of how yours is doing. Thanks.
Sorry to tell you that it hasn't fly yet. Can't have my medical so can't have flying lessons. But may be one day I'll try it anyway!!
Construction was very a fun progress. I've built the wings first than the tail and at last the fuselage. It was a little tricky since I had a very small room to work but very rewarding!!
Awesome!
