This is a known issue on these engines. the 3.3 and 3.8 engine blocks are a crap design. Hyundai will not assist if vehicle is out of warranty. I reached out to the Hunan Solutions and this is the most popular kit they sell.. I am thinking of trying a class action suite.

And then Kia tells me my head is cracked So went to pick it up And now my Car is overheating???? So i had it towed home. This car is a 2015 with only 67,000 miles. I just paid it off. I have a 2017 Corolla. It's accumlated only 22000 miles in four years, so you can say it's engine has barely broken in and brand new. It makes quite a loud rattling noise on cold startup. Toyota, in my country, refused to fix it under warranty terming it as normal. Now, when my three year warranty ended last year, Toyota told me it's a camphaser issue and we'll replace it for $ 2000. Like, seriously! The VVTi camphaser design is flawed and Toyota continues to sell these defective engines well into 2021.

thanks, this sounds like what my 09 is doing with 125K miles. the water pump bearing failed too, but the car still makes the rattle on startup even without the serp belt installed

A question for you . I have a 2013 dodge dart c635 double clutch transmission , 1 day it started making a loud noise when I started vehicle . Put it in drive indicator shows D on cluster but vehicle tries to move but it feels that transmission is still in park ? Turn the key on and put it in N eutral but vehicle cannot be pushed back or forth transmission acts like transmission is still in park

Question for you, do you recommend getting the pressure plate as well as the flywheel when your replacing the fly wheel or just put it on piece at a time
