@@digital360 Thanks for reply. And ya that's understandable. That f1.4 is hard to beat on the Sigma. I might just go for the Sigma as my wide angle eventually. Better for interior/low light, more bokeh. Sounds like you play guitar so for any setting like that the f1.4 is going to destroy the f4 of the 11-22mm

@@digital360 I've purchased $50k worth of stuff from Zzounds. I love their payment plans. I used them when I was disabled and had only a little money. I still use them. I cured my GAS so I'm really not buying anything except the parts I need to finish my Malmsteen strat. I have so much stuff and 2 other project guitars and an amp project waiting. I'm not buying anymore gear for a while. Thanks for the tip though.

I agree. The Floyd Rose with upgrades is the one to get. I have two guitars that stay in tune for months at a time. Set the guitar down on a stand in the den go back 3 months later almost perfectly intune. Went to Metallica when they had the bridge behind the drummer with the two staircases. Kirk Hammet tossed his ESP on the stage and dragged it up and down 2 flights of stairs and all around the stage for about 3 minutes and slapped it back on and it's perfectly in tune and he finishes the song.

I was not familiar with that brand but they do look very similar.

Agreed. All Prestige models should really have as frets. That 550 is badass too.

Agree. They save a bit of cash during production using alloy frets. Just less work. I just got a PRS and the frets are flat on top on brand new guitar. It looks like whoever leveled the frets didn't crown them enough if at all. They took off quite a bit of fret material too like it was done wrong.

@@digital360 I've already gone 15 rounds with them they hate me. I'm surprised they even made the neck for me. They always fuck it up I expected it. It's not bad enough that I really care the guitar is for playing not bragging about or looking closely at. I just want to feel that scalloped fingerboard under my fingers!!!!

@@digital360 the RGT 1270 PB.even thou it's not a prestige this is a highly spect out guitar The RG 5320 prestige this is my dream guitar!! Or the RGR 5221 prestige this is with bare-knuckles brute Force pickups. Big fan of bare knuckle pickups. So there's my dilemma.

@@tonycarel1785 From the models you listed, I would personally (just my opinion) go with either the 5320 or 5221. The 5221 looks so good! I may have to check that out soon on the channel. BKPs, fixed bridge and ss frets?! All day! BTW, for anyone that doesn't know, surprisingly the RGA622xh that I reviewed here does NOT have ss frets. Odd that any Prestige model wouldn't, but it is what it is. They had to compensate by giving us more frets. :)

I definitely am a ss kind of man I play bass as well ( actually been playing bass since I was 14 years old 51 now) I can't understand Ibanez sometimes been a owner of Ibanez basses since I was 15 years old. If you can but ss frets on a $ 1,000 bass then you should be able to put them on a $2000 guitar. Please do a review of the RG 5221 that would be awesome. Does zzsounds ever send you guitars that you can review upon request? I am always curious about this. If they do that's cool. At this point I could most likely buy anything I wanted from them.

I love my dk24’s but the San Dimas models are great too. I did a few vids on them awhile back. Charvels are great guitars and easy to play imo.

Good question! - I made sure not to mention my channel so that I could be treated like any one else. I did however mention that another UA-camr had a problem with his tuners just to prove that it wasn’t an isolated case. I would hope that most reputable manufacturers would do the honorable thing, especially when an item costs as much as this. Schecter came through! Satisfied customer here. 👍

Lmao! I guess it's always a crapshoot if a package will arrive safely or F'ed up. I think thats what the "fed" part of Fedex stands for. 🤣

@@digital360 lmao. Touché. But before I pulled the trigger on a custom Kiesel 9 string, I had the schecter damien 9 platinum plus and you could tell it was FedEx. The box literally had imprints of the tone pots on the out most layer. Opened it up and they were jammed in and a pickup popped half off with that impact. I had to buy that model straight from their site since 9 strings really weren’t and still aren’t in quantities for your major retailers and I understand, it’s a niche. But after I took a quick video and emailed it to Schecter, I have to give credit where it’s indeed due. Not only did they get me a shipping label to send back right away, I asked for them to ship it in a case and they gave me half off a nice case that fit it and sent my return before they even received mine. But I gotta say, I’m kind of upset I ran into your channel because I already bought 2 guitars this year and seeing how they brought back the black ops line and I’m a sucker for the Tele and most designs you wouldn’t normally see in metal, now I have to go talk with my wallet again and console it on why it’s a “need”. I don’t think it’s believed a word I said for some years now. Definitely got a new sub here. Keep up the good work!

@@digital360 Hell yeah I missed the Passion tour but I caught the Sex and Religion tour. Belly up to the stage. He opened with a partial cover of a Rob Zombie song. That show was fantastic. But my favorite thing about it was Devin Townsend. He was absolutely a spectacle. A kid basically (I was only 22) younger than me, singing for Vai and shredding with Vai and... Devin is my favorite artist of all time. My bucket list is super short and on it is a Vai - Townsend reunion tour.

@@lisafernandez2696 It was. And totally unexpected and unscripted. People pay good money for the VIP experience and this time it was free. A few years before, I went to see Joe Satriani at Pop’s in East St. Louis. About halfway through the show a staff member came to our table which was a balcony seat overlooking the stage and said Joe would be signing autographs at our table after the show and we should hang out and meet him. We waited until almost everyone was gone before the staff informed us Joe had changed his mind. Turns out, Steve is a better ambassador for the craft than Joe apparently. lol
