Hurricane Milton vs. A-10 Twin 64mm Dangerous Flying
Decided to go out flying my E-Flite A-10 in some dangerous conditions and crazy winds for this little A-10
But the plane is so well designed that it handled the crazy winds amazingly
And even as it was being tossed around because it’s so light, it did amazing.
It was a challenge to land and it took me many attempts. But was able to bring it down with no crashes
E-Flite did a great job on this plane. Looks amazing and it flies amazing
But even better than that is how super easy it is to land this plane
Even in crazy hurricane winds
Our condolences and our prayers to the families that lost both material belongings and some even their lives in this past hurricane Milton
Please be sure to find ways to help the need in these difficult times

Maiden flight for my E-Flite Viper 70mm Blue high performance version. I asked my buddy Richard to do the first maiden for me because i had never flown a jet before and this is not exactly a beginner or trainer jet. After trimming it i flew it and it was an amazing experience. Totally different from flying a propeller plane. Especially the landing. So it’s definitely something I need to master....

Buy yourself a twisted hobby 3D foamie. An of the 32-inch size and practice orientation with it. They are practically indestructible and fly in slow motion so you have time to learn and become more confident. I became a 10x better pilot from owning one. Trust me it is worth every penny. Super easy to learn rolling harriers and inverted harriers build up that good muscle memory so you don't make those mistakes on accident again. Don't worry the Mustang will buff out and fly again. That's flying rc planes, I've been wanting the Eflite A10 bad, but my local club field has a very similar grass runway so I buy most planes with big beefy wheels so it handles those bumpy grass patches, my go to is the Eflite F4U Corsair and Timberx, and both 1.1. And 1.2 m T-28. That's very repairable and that's 1 reason I mostly stick to foamies. I could care less about the older members always talking trash about foamies over balsa models, most balsa models either take weeks to repair, or more trouble than they're worth, easierto buildanother. One thing I’m noticing that no one has mentioned is you’re not giving yourself a long lineup for landing, you’re swinging out of a turn and immediately trying for a landing. I’d recommend having a long, straight approach for landing, so then you don’t need to feel like you’re forcing the plane down. Start farther away, point at the runway and slowly lose altitude, easier to land when the plane isn’t dropping out of the sky

@@Elircplanes might be a smidge nose heavy. as a beginner, flying nose heavy makes the flying part much easier because it wants to track like an arrow and the inputs are a bit more soft and mushy requiring more stick input to get the same movement of the plane, but it will hurt you when trying to land slow. if you push the battery back a bit you will find the jet naturally wants to lean back on the approach and the mains will touch down first almost all on their own. just be prepared for a more touchy elevator durning the flight itself. this can be somewhat mitigated by adding some expo to your elevator control. also that jet comes with as3x which helps a ton. safe can also make landings happen super easy. honestly its almost cheating but jets cost money so use every tool at your disposal to make sure it lands in one piece.

Great words here as I just augured my Carbon Cub S2. Had multiple flights in intermediate. Takeoff. Landing. Touch n' Go. Took it up higher and switched to expert mode. Things look pretty good. Altitude was dropping (first mistake). Wing dipped. Flipped back to beginner but too late and too low. Hit full throttle and so hard I had to cut the prop spinner off and back the very bent screw with pliers. Engine shaft is bent, too. Fuselage mostly repairable but replacement parts are more than half of a new one. I believe insurance would call this a total. I know it's repairable...but I have little free time and hovering over the "Place in Cart" button for a new one.
