It's a 3.3 mtr boat. I did get a small hole a Yr ago due to my stupidity lol. But repair is sooo simple and quick. No leaks ever since. They come with a repair pack.

Cool video, get a kayak style anchor and use burley with baited hooks to increase your catch :0)

Great videos, the most important thing in Welly Harbour is burley. Then you can bring the fish to you, the water is often dirty and the fish hunt by smell more than sight :)

It's the 3.3 mtr Discovery capable load of 500 kgs. I've seen videos of family of 5 in the same boat. 😊

Thanks. Yes, she is great. My rule of thumb before heading out is the wave should not be above 1.9 mtr and spaced at least 7 seconds apart. Also the wind is less than 20 knots. In these conditions, running or idle is enjoyable. Although I've seen people up in UK riding SIBs in very harsh conditions. 😊
I have not yet tried it outside Welly Harbour but it should handle fine.
I have now used it outside Wellington Harbour and I'm very happy with. Check out the kapiti video and soon the Mana video coming out soon. I think there's actually less side to side movement compared to center console boats
kahawai put your fingers thru the gills side to side rip the skin and the gills out then fold its head all the way back do this as soon as it comes out the water - you should get pure white meat - hang the fish in the water with a rope thru its mouth also if you scale it while its in the drink no mess no slime no smell when you get home
these types of boats are the future i think
Cheers for the tip. We will certainly try and do this next time we're out fishing. The flesh is even good for sashimi. Just season with your favourite soy sauce and wasabi, yummy. 😁
@@khg8519 nothing beats it when it comes to flexibility. You can take it with you anywhere without a trailer which means you don't need that much parking space either. However, you wouldn't go out on it if the conditions are not great. But I'm loving it. 👍
