Als wir unseren Space Star bekommen hatten. Ist mir auch sofort aufgefallen, daß der für den niedrigen Verbrauch wirklich gut motorisiert ist. Für Arbeitswege und Stadtverkehr ein top Zweitwagen und Kinder passend auch noch prima rein.

Das waren Zeiten. Kein Drehzahlmesser, also 2. bis 80, 3. bis 130 und 4. bis 150. Normal zwischen 155-170 auf der Autobahn je nach Hügeln. Topgeschwindigkeit hatte ich 185 in Süddeutschland einem Autobahnhügel runter. 5 l/100 Verbrauch bei normales fahren, 7 bei Vollgas. Ich vermisse meinen Twingo.

Looks really slow for 186hp car. I have Opel Corsa F with stage 1 tune 145hp/250Nm and my 100-150 gps measurement was 9.91s at +0.7% incline which is same as this car. I wonder where those extra 41hp are (and i know Corsa is lighter but still).

Watch the video. He almost topped out 5th gear to 190… This driver never put this car into 6th gear… as a viper owner; of 10 years, I also never use 6th gear, because you’ll be going too fast to use that gear and keep the car stable in its power band… I say all that to say; the car could go faster if he actually used 6th gear… amazing how this car can go 190 mph without using all of its gears and potential…

Bullshit ! Engine rpm capability simply isn't high enough unless you have some 'special' axle ratio. And even if ? the motor doesn't produce enough power to counteract Aero drag. My Maserati with 440 hp and 400ftlbs with a 7500rev limit Maxes out at 280 kph.

When I retired I changed my previous 2020 BMW M340i for a cheaper to buy and run 2023 Honda Civic e:HEV Advance (first registered in Sept. 2023). I have been blown away by the tremendous ride (better than the BMW), handling and build quality (equal of my BMWs and much better than the AMG Mercs I had before). The Honda just seems SO well engineered and, with the instant torque of the electric motor, it genuinely feels virtually as fast as the BMW on initial pull-away from a standstill up to about 30mph. Various testers in the U.K. have achieved 0-60mph times of 6.8 seconds (0-100kph 7.3secs). Even at higher speeds the Honda, whilst slower than the BMW, it isn’t THAT much slower; I suppose it is about 350kg lighter after all!

I have two 9.5 Aero's, an '02 and an '04. I am set for life. seriously.I couldn't love my Saabs more.

My poor E92 320i 170 HP aspirated with short gear ratio (4,1) is as quick if not quicker than this. And my M performance exhausts sounds much better. Shocking! I guess the main difference is aerodynamics, the G42 being shorter can't have such a streamlined profile as mine.
