He has a beautiful voice ❤
16 years later and it still remains the best version. 🍷
I agree. Came here to compare that Tiny Desk version to this and this still kills. Plus was trying to understand who's in the band.
Where do those years go😮 16 years before that was 1992!
You ain't doing better than the Heads. Buzzcocks maybe
Saw these guys open for Franz Ferdinand in 2004. Great band. I've been listening to their stuff ever since
Meantime is their best song right?
Damn this band is incredible Been listening since …… well you know the movie
I usually listen them from burnout 3, one of the greatest games ever
What city 🏙️ ❓
show
Fuck thst. Come back you Macca fucks!!!
Great Band, should have been massive! dx
Love love love these guys!!!
14 years later and it gets better and better
Una excelente banda con el peor público de la historia.
What happened to mid 2000s indie
Don't worry, it'll come back around 10 years from now.
It never existed, seeing as most bands were on majors. Also, time moved on.
The vulgar centimeter corroboratively pinch because glue likely hug afore a loud opera. noisy, comfortable hyacinth
Miss those days 😞
This is exceptional!! Loving a bit of trip down memory lane with these songs :-)
When seeing them on Jools I got their album the next. Still love it.
still remember watching this live, bought the single on vinyl just after my dad gave me his music equipment around the same time i was learning guitar, one of the few vinyls i still have behind me in a drawer

The BEST live show EVER
Yeah, I'm a Mod. I'll always be a Mod.
Was this really 15 years ago? Time just flies. I remember their first album.
Such a band! New album is awesome!
Indeed, their first album was phenomenal
I was just thinking the same. "Man I wish I could see these guys live, lemme start saving up for a trip to the UK..." *sees video publish date* "Welp... I'm old."
1:52 when you have a sneezing fit 😂
A shame I was too young to appreciate these guys
❤
The song is the burnout 3
love it! it makes everytime my day better
11 years later and its still a tasty treat
Great song, but this director needs to rethink his shit. If this was what the band wanted visually, I apologize. But I've run into this so many times. Everyone has to put their "style," their little mark on everything. Especially everyone with a fucking camera, or in charge of cameras. We are watching a live clip of the band why? Because we'd like to see them play their instruments. At least that's why I'm here. Not to induce a fucking seizure so some "artist" can show off his directing and editing skills. Jesus. This is beyond annoying. Just FILM THE FUCKING PERFORMANCE. Occasional closeups and angle changes, maybe an audience shot here and there. Like they've been doing on TV for decades. It wasn't a format that needed revamping. The PERFORMANCE is what's important. Not the fucking camera people. This is unwatchable.
2019 anyone? 😎❤️
is this Messi?
10,5 years later and it's still solid!
A bit like The Jam.
Spot on
And Wire...
and Drums & Wires era XTC.
Robert Smith <3 0:01 These blokes must be in awe of Smith's presence.
Their timing was fucking off on this in several places. Tsk tsk.
oh my, what a tight band, great songwriting. don't understand why these guys did not find a place in the mainstream. if not better then, can easily compete with the franz ferdinand or the killers.
god i much prefer them to both those bands. what was interesting was a lot of the 90s british indie bands incorperated a 60s and 70s sound whereas the 00's ones was more an 80s one whether they borrowed from synth or new wave/post punk.
Sid Fernandez hgbg
Their follow-up albums weren't as good.
In all fairness i could listen to franz and the killers first albums and enjoyed them entirely, but for futureheads there was only about 3 tracks on there i found myself listening to regularly, these 2 and hounds of love, in all fairness though i love decent days enough to buy on vinyl at the time haha, but yeah overall first album theirs had what felt like alot more filler unfortunately.
God sake. The shit all over the killers. So underrated.
2008, a good year for good music.
Yer main man there, he has a decent resemblance to yer fella out the Breaking Bad there. His bud on the bass? Well he looks like Slumperdoche Muntermunche out of that there Cumberland Slunterland show, Crime Time Lord!
the girl in 1:44 its so beatiful
one of the best
