    My doggy has had more trouble than usual going. :( After I saw this video, I kept a vigilant eye on him, and as soon as he got into his pooping position, I rushed and tried your technique and omgoodness. It worked like a charm. I can't thank you enough for providing this information and for helping me provide my dog with some relief. 🤗

    I just wanted to say thank you. I found your video about a year ago. We opted for surgery but unfortunately it failed. We now manage the condition by soaking his kibble in water for a few hours then adding doggy fibre just before feeding. We feed 3x a day instead of 2, and walk him at least an hour after the first meal and last meal to empty his bowels. We press on the hernia at start of walk and after every bowel movement. This seems to be working just incase it helps anyone else.

    Hey thank you for making this video. I use small douglas fir bark nuggets in a mud zone area in my chicken yard I quite large of an area. I have been scaring myself with researching potential health concerns using bark. Aspergillus spores is said to thrive in the bark. Looks like we both live in a very climate. I'm in Washington. I would hate to think what has keep my girls out of significant mud and standing water could cause the hens to be infected with Aspergillus. What are your thoughts on mold and fungus growth in the bark as it begins to decompose?

      @@mf12060825 you have two options you can either put another thick layer of mulch on top of what’s decomposing or you can remove all of the decomposing material and put in fresh mulch. I always opted to remove the mulch every spring and start fresh

    Thank you for your video. Our dog, an 8 year old Coton de Tulear (not castrated) has exactly this. The bulging arround his tail got bigger and bigger, but first he was wrong diagnosed, till we finaly found a vet, who immediately knew whar it was. Surgery reccomended. Costs a lot of money and we do not have this. He gave us Lactulose sirup, which I had to add over the food and gave him raw rumen, which brough a big release during the following days. But watching him suffering was really cruel. He was crying, when he tried to get rid of his poo but he couldn't. He was like dying, didn't eat for 3 days and than he recovered. I gave him mozarella and sweet potatos and coconut oil or and butter. Ya, god fat end oil, I thought, is important, because he eats much less and so he ad least needs some oil to get some energy from it. A motor also needs oil. As I had no fish oil, I gave him coconutoil and butter and it was good. I also added water of boild carrots with a bit of salt. And fresh and raw deer he loved after a few days of fasting and it got better. Since 3 days he could get rid of some … you know. Some food makes it really worse. Also Psyllium seeds are good to add, but the really should be soaked well, that the whole food is soft enough. Also i try to avoid to dry food of all cost, after he had just had kind of a sweet potato soup (which was unthinkable, that he had eaten this still a few years ago), he gets one or 2 dog cookies. But pushing against the buldged areas, he definetly does not like and he even tries to bite me. So how could I help him? Strong nerves are required - and a lot of time and patience…

      @@JesuisSus he may have hemorrhoid from all the straining. Human hemorrhoid cream mixed with coconut oil can help. The key is to push his “bubble” in BEFORE he starts pooping. If you wait until after he has started to strain to poop it will be very uncomfortable for him. It’s difficult at first but watch your dog like a hawk and as soon as you think he might starting to poop jump in and push the bubble. Over time the sensitivity goes away because they’re pooping with ease on a regular basis again.

    It’s unfortunate that I only saw this video three years later, and I also learned that Teddy recently passed away. I’m sorry for your loss. First, I’d like to share a few points for viewers who might see this review, hoping it can help them. In small dog breeds, especially those with tracheal issues, the right atrium often faces work overload, which can lead to chronic right heart failure. This condition is difficult to detect on a regular X-ray and usually requires seeing a cardiologist to diagnose. Chronic tracheal collapse can cause a number of underlying conditions that we often overlook, such as liver dieseas, kidney failure and the lung and abdominal fluid retention you mentioned in your video. These symptoms can frequently be signs of pulmonary hypertension. Therefore, if your pet has persistent tracheal issues or uncontrollable coughing, it’s important not only to get a chest X-ray but also to consult a cardiologist. Early detection of underlying causes can help guide more effective treatment. Thank you for posting this video.

    AMAZING! I use it every day and it works flawlessly! Huge fan of this simple and yet CRUCIAL video. Also what it's important to evaluate is the urine stream. If it becomes very weak you must assess the present status of the hernia. Intestines and/or the bladder might get strangled inside the hernia creating a medical emergency. Keep in mind that you still need to soften the stool and regularly check for any accumulation inside using proper technique (ask a vet to teach you this).

My rooster got chased for 15 minutes yesterday and I found him gurgling really bad after the chase was over. Stray dog got into the yard and I just happened to see it on my security camera a bit late but good thing i did. My rooster (aka dagger) ran into the house past my feet, he was done with the dog. I ran the dog off and thought it had done Broke daggers neck. But I'm now believing this episode exposed an infection in my rooster. He's doing good today but no more running allowed! Thanks for this video ❤ my best bud has had one for the past 2 months. Our vet recommended surgery and we were originally quoted 3k which I could afford but then the specialist that wasn’t comfortable coming to their vet wouldn’t do the surgery because they are not open over night and said I had to go to their specialist office and was then quoted over 10k to do the surgery. It’s a lot of money to come up with so I’ve been saving and trying to manage with diet and adding pumpkin. My dogs back leg has recently swelled up so I’m hoping by pushing it back in when he poops will help his leg until I can afford the surgery 😢

I use sign language (hand signs) he knows about 12 different signs. I also have a collar, lead and harness with DEAF DOG on it so people can see it as they approach him. I make sure people only approach from the front, stop let him smell them before they touch him. When he is sleeping, I will stand near him and he knows I am standing there.

    Going to give it a try. 10 year old Corgi and he had the perianal surgery on his right rear almost 2 years ago ($5k). Unfortunately, the problem has reoccurred on the left rear and the lump is about the diameter of half a lemon. Good size. He had to go the emergency vet a week ago to get cleaned out as he was completely stopped up ($750). They want to do the surgery once more. Really don't want that expense again, but will if I have to, so have been trying to massage the bump a little to see if I can get anything to move. Seems to work sometimes but he's not completely emptying, I'm sure. We've also been giving him plenty of liquids along with 1/4 tsp. of psyllium (main ingredient in Metamucil) twice a day to attempt to keep his stools soft, which seems to be working. So, I'm going to try your method to see if that can work but was wondering do you keep the pressure on until he starts and finishes the process? Also do you wait until he crouches to start the process, or just randomly do it when you go outside? Hoping it work. ;-)

    My dog started getting symptoms of chf, and tracheal collapse April 4th. She initially fainted, and I cried and felt so helpless. I took her to the vet , and she prescribed lasix, and antibiotics for some decay in gums. Since she is on meds she is doing way way better has not had any major episodes or fainting. I keep taking her out on walks every other hour. I wanted to ask your opinion. How do I know if she is suffering or not. Occasionally she will lay down, and seem lethargic . She still goes on walks happily, once in a while she will be tired so I make the walks shorter. She's 16 year old chihuahua named Kitana. I think we love them like babies because they are also small, and we took good care of them to reach this age, and gave them their life purpose. I found your video initially about your one year update using throat gold, and then I saw this second video, and I got teary eyes for Teddy. I had a 18 year old long hair chihuahua pass over the rainbow in 2022, and I feel she is with me still. Some times it feels so real I even call out her name, and I can vision her playing in heaven. We never have closure for a pet we loved as a child, and in my opinion we all meet again some day.🥹🌹

      Thank you for your thoughtful comment and kind words. In my humble opinion as long as your dog is eating, drinking, peeing/pooing without pain or difficulty that’s a very good indicator that it’s not time yet. It’s ok for them to sleep more and not be able to walk as far or play like they used to. I believe it’s natural to slow down…and as dogs they understand that that and don’t mind the extra naps. As long as you’re providing them a soft bed to lay on and giving pain medication (if needed) they’re comfortable enough to keep going. If your dog starts refusing meals, becomes incontinent or you’re. It able to manage pain (example: she’s whining constantly or can’t no longer get comfortable enough to sleep) it’s time. Sending you love and strength 💚

      @pixiesplantation 7 місяців тому

      Not necessarily a “wrong way” just avoid pushing in too deep…keep your fingers flush with the natural boundaries of the skin and you’ll be fine. Yes, this will help prevent the bladder from getting stuck “ bladder entrapment” however, to be effective it’s up to you to make sure that the bladder does not get too full to get trapped. As the years go by, you may notice that the hole itself gets larger and when it does it can accommodate a full bladder.

    Thank you for this video! My 12 year old dog got diagnosed with this today. Did your dog limp before? Mine is limping from his right back leg, that's where his hernia is. I wonder if he will be able to walk better once I start following your techniques. 🖤🤠 Texas
