OMG, I was just telling a friend that there were so many attendees at Flock, and yet I did not once run into anyone rude! I hope it stays this way! It was a haven!

I can totally understand losing yourself in my motherhood but also losing your sense of purpose in your making. That happened to me when I went to art school. Luckily this sense of purpose came back when I started knitting and dying yarn which has also opened the door again to my sense of purpose to be artistic in other ways like drawing and grafic design.

Jess is SUCH a treasure! I am so so excited for everything that's happening for her. Thanks for showing us her shop!

I call myself a Fiber Artist, as I am a crocheter.

I met Abi in VKL NY, and she was incredibly kind to me while I was waiting to introduce a friend to Jen, who was busy interviewing other people. Abi offered to give me a sign when the timing was right, and her help was truly invaluable. I also asked if I could film her stylish outfit, and she enthusiastically assisted me in finding other beautiful garments. Everything worked out well in the end, and my friend was successfully interviewed. I felt genuinely appreciated and understood by Abi and I'm truly grateful for her support. It's inspiring to see that she, as a fellow Latina, is challenging the system in such a positive manner. Thank you for being such a great role model, Abi!

I love her! What a fascinating woman with her midwifery office across from her amazing yarn store! So glad we got tours and stories of it all! 😊

At the 37 mark you mentioned listening to the testers feedback. This reminded me when I did a test knit for a designer in a larger size, the sleeves and neck where crazy huge and I gave them feedback and they just said I should have knitted a smaller size. But this was the size the pattern recommended for my bust.

Jane is such a lovely person to meet! I loved her original sheep from Scotland stories and also as she read to us with her calming voice! I did not know about Lamb Gangs (like dog zoomies) at tea time or Vegetarian wool. Then there is that challenge offered to participate in Jen’s “Lambs in Space!”❤
