    My question specifically relates to the colour, black. Do you notice that it's hotter than your previous helmet and does the ventilation compensate for the difference?

    • @MRTPR
      @MRTPR 2 дні тому

      When you are riding you don't notice it, when have stopped there is more heat coming from the road, this is because this helmet does not have a chin curtin like my old helmet. The ventilation when riding is excellent. Thank you for dropping by. 😎

    Oh you've absolutely hit the nail on the head there, describing that feeling when everything flows just perfectly, it's an amazing feeling, even intoxicating you could say, this is the point at which you have to bring yourself round to thinking safety. I did an actual double take at 3:20, why? Well when I first went on the Welsh rally, ten years or so ago, I'd been watching Advanced biker and was repeating his catchphrases in my head all day long, now I can't remember if it was one of his for sure but as it was over 17 hours of riding on roads that I did not know, one I kept repeating, especially on those fast looking sweeping bends was don't get cocky, that same word you used there. One that did actually save me was heading home back into England at night that one was "loose the vision, loose the speed". I was on a good straight road but it had two sudden dips together and fog was lying in the bottom of them, I rolled off the throttle through the first then opened up over the next then same thing rolled off through the mist to find a broken down car in the bottom without lights. Like you I have absolute confidence in my bike and what it can do and like you know my skills have a certain level, not the highest I can assure you. I managed to fall off twice last year, both while stopping on strange angles and slopes which caught me off guard, maybe I was just too confident! So in answering your question, yes you can be too confident but experience should bring you back into the realms of safety. Enjoyed that, sorry for all that typing you've just read. Ride safe and happy young man.

    Nice to see ya back out there buddy. Good points you make here. I know my limits, the bike is far more capable than I will ever be. To be honest, WE can be as confident, capable or even over cocky as we like, it only takes someone else on the road to have no confidence/be too cocky/ or under performing that day to wipe us out. It only takes a split second to change our futures. Ride safe guys, and stay safe out there.
