When my mom, dad and I arrived in 1965 there was one stop light on Mesa St. free way ended on the east side.Moved on the West side on Love Rd. Beautiful city with so many wonderful people and cultures. I love El Paso. Moved though in 1992.
Ppl are more interested in our haunted and historial buildings here in El Paso Texas.

@@manuelluna216 Grew up listening to Steve Crosnos on the radio. And watching Crosnos Sock Hop on Saturday afternoons. And going to Ascarity amusement park. And eating the best shrimp in the world at the Oasis round drive in.

Thank you for posting these pictures of downtown El Paso. Watching reminded of how vibrant and important El Paso was and still is to Texas and the United States. Really awesome to see.

El Paso downtown 1940's - 1960's very unique and lovely. A joy to walk and shop there.
