In 1970 something my Dad made an anti-drug video for school. Problem was, it was on 8mm and had no sound. I fixed it.

When your friends leave their gear in your basement, you jam with yourself. *Dry unmixed audio
58 years guitar, then bam boom got into bass, and all the great players, whole new exciting world, come on.
its so cool that he uses a cheap bass for his amazing music and not something rare or overpriced.
I am anxiously awaiting a possible short scale version.
Reminds me of Jaco Pastorius
Doe Jart on the Bender Fass!
interesting that theyre roundwounds
I love the part when his solo came up and he said "IT'S JOE DARTIN TIME" and Joe Darted allover the place.
too bad it got stolen the other day
Dat boy got dem hips wiggling
It’s funky *Bap Bap Bap Roundwound strings, so real *baaaaaw dadada da* bright
Legendary
Ah my little Dublin video getting some use
Thank you! 🙏❤️
That live audio with the crowd singing the bassline to Dean Town is incredible
It goes to show you that in the end, instruments are really just tools. His bass is nothing really that special - just a stock MIM jazz bass. It's the hands of the player that brings it to life.
SO f.... COOL, you just want to be a part, and invited to that party 🙂
Love his playing..........
Hi, Legend
now if only his neck lasts as long.....
Are you sure that’s Joe Dart? Without the Joe Cool sunglasses, how can one be sure?
Found footage, I could only speculate from the bass 😎
@@rickenricomorrone8376 🙂
1:27 Dude, is that Fucking TREY ANASTASIO?!
indeed, it is! They opened up for TAB at Red Rocks one year, and Trey came out to jam with them to Rango. Respect.
If it was slap the audience would fall asleep, but with finger-style they love it: a good object lesson from a master player.
Tell that to Marcus Miller lol
LOL Joe is a good entertainer and a good bass player. Lot's of hype behind him. I wish him the best!
Can someone please tell me what the song in the opening clip is???
it's a live version of My First Car. UA-cam "Vulfpeck 4K - My First Car - 9/9/16 - Brooklyn Bowl NYC" :D
C'est bien gamin ;) ✔
His signature bass was purchased in a pawn shop, had the active preamp removed, bears only a volume control pot and cost less than $100.
That’s the bass the signature EB bass was modeled after, yes. Jack had an old Carlo Robelli that Joe used on some early Vulf recordings, that later became the inspiration for the new EB signature.
I'm new to Vulfpeck, what's the track in the intro?
It’s My First Car!
@@StrictlyFine Thanks
JESUS CHRIST Loves y'all!!!!
Man this vídeo it's My motivation to play!!!! Thanks.
i think he was stoned af.
no way he said its versatile XD
It is
And then came along EBMM
Am I the only one who thinks Joe Dart doesn't look like Joe Dart?
What a strange dude. Too cool for school.
Where did you get the interview video from? Is there a full version?
I filmed it myself, and yes I have all the raw footage but there isn’t a “full” version out there as of now. Maybe one day I’ll put something together, but this to me was the most memorable segment, talking about his bass.
@@rickenricomorrone8376 that's amazing!! I wish I could watch the full video and I think alot of people would too, I hope you'll release it anytime soon
@@rickenricomorrone8376I would really love to watch the full interview, please do post if you still have it! It’s a piece of vulf history!
Awesome.
I love this jam!! I want some more RICK, RICK, and RICK vids
Joe Dart is cooler playing the fender bass than the musicman bass. I hope joe dart come back to the fender bass.
The most shocking thing about this video is that Joe Dart has eyes under those sunglasses 😎
I don't know how many times I have watched this video now
Fuck. I’m the same age as Joe was in this video.
Haha, to me, seing Joe without sunglasses is the same as seing someone without its mask : i recognize only half of the face ^^
Joe dart is a a half-assed funk wannabe.
which song and video is the one that is playing from 1:10 to 2:57? thxxxx
Deantown live in Dublin!
young dart looks like a fish
Ayyy, my Fearless Flyers video is at 2:03
legendary, I used it because JAY KAY BABY. Big moment for Joe. He introduced me to Jamiroquai's catalogue outside of Virtual Insanity
Whoever disliked this video needs to get their ears checked
how is he so fucking COOL bro
Dude had 20 years old when he recorded beastly... I'm 24 now I thought I had a few years ahead to get this good 😂
You have the rest of your life...
He started at the age of 8
