Current Thoughts on Achievement/Trophy Hunting
For the past couple months ive been questioning the value on achievement/ trophies in games. To try an understand why are they there, and do they serve any value. This sort of personal topic, many gamers like having achievements/trophies in their games, since it gives certain games replay value, while others dont care at all. anyways this my video on it

Elden Ring Review - A Well Needed Relief
Without running away, I'm still able to get to the guy with the gun. I just follow the code 100%.
I love this game it is incredible
They should make a movie with Bruce Willis face since it’s Bruce agreed to have his face used in Hollywood even after death
4:03 Homie, you're overthinking the fuck out of this. It's PS1's only proper CONTRA style experience, with Bruce Willis as the lead. That's all it is. The story is just an excuse to have you blow things up. They literally wrapped a story around what they had to work with after the first version of the game was dropped. That's why there's all the weird stuff with dialogue and short cutscenes. They were just stitching together what they could from the old story to make this thing work. It is a prime example of style over substance. It's also a lot of fun.
Imagine a game like that with G.I Joe and Cobra with every vehicles, units, etc. OMG.
Transition?!
Tony hawk pro skater 0.5
Me and the homie used to play the hell out of this game.
The sad thing is taht theres a shit ton of world building in the game manual, and its pretty cool, lore that its barely used in game
so bushido blade 2 is a downgrade... :(
suck on this
They should mod Bruce's lines with Mickey Rourkes lines from Rogue warrior
This game was wild. My personal favorite was giving someone else the guy with a gun and seeing if I could kill them.
chivalry 2 has a lot of different weapons and interesting fighting mechanics.. it would be cool if they did an asian game.. but my biggest criticism of that game is that the movement is too fast and the weapon attacks are too slow.. its ridiculous.. the people are squirrely and to strike with your weapon you need to make an appointment for next tuesday.. people in these fps games always spam the movement buttons and it looks stupid.. then to say that its realistic to take 5 seconds to swing a sword.. i dont know.. i mean my analysis is that everyone playing this game is an idiot.. not unlike historical warfare..
Ironically holding the start button is a new thing serious fighting games do in order to prevent accidental game pauses while fighting 😆
Has that for honor fighting style
Because there were unique games, we never got bored of playing video games. These days, I don't even feel like buying a new console/ pc/ games because I just don't feel like I want to play something. As for this game, the gameplay really seems unique. I will give this a try.
Bushido blade 2 is the goat! This looks like a step down to me
looks like ass
Did you ever hear about Hellish Quart? It's the most Bushido Blade game in a long time and it's been out for a while.
this
when’s this come out
Every game is now a First person Shooter. Banal times we live in....
Loved Bushido Blade. I never had a Sony console, but my friend from across the street had one and we played this game for many many hours. One day I managed to beat the "slash mode", defeating 100 enemies and unlocking a secret character (Kaze, the guy with the gun). Felt so good ^^ And after many years of not playing it (PS 2 had been out for a while), I found out that there was another secret character, or more like a secret boss battle. Requires a very specific way of play during the story mode.
34 now use to play this as a kid, the one liners made this game nostalgic for me. It was a fun game if you just wanted to fuck some shit up.
you make good content broski. keep at it. <3
Are we just going to act like the original releases weren’t bugged? Jfc…
I was thinking the same thing. I remember the hero speed slowdown and some really bad audio issues. But this is also over a decade later and yet they didn’t bother to fix it from the start
Classic modern gaming. Shovel out crap for cash and fix it later.
So, are these problems for the PC version or console version or both? All these reviews I've been watching never really clarify what version of the collection they're talking about.
It was on release which was unacceptable but with the new update nearly every problem has been fixed. Its a great experience now
So why didn’t they delay a month to get the game right 😂😂🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️
It's 73gb this one hell of cash grab playing on the strings of fans
The Deadliest Warrior game series felt more like a spiritual successor to the Bushido Blade series than Kengo did. Kengo immediately turned me off with the life bars.
Ah, I grew up on these games. Literally still have it for my PS2, and me and my buddies still do galactic conquest from time to time.
Yeeeaahhh Bushido Blade! Some games that kinda seem like spiritual successors include Hellish Quart (like @frikideredesgameplays3814 mentioned) and also Die By The Blade, which Mike Ross & Xian played on their youtube and is coming out soonish.
This sounds so cool. Thanks for sharing!
How was this never released? I am terrible at fighting games, but wanted to play this so much when it came out. No health bar and the ability to kill your opponent with one good strike is just out of the box thinking.
The second game was a set back
The ONLY thing missing in this game is DISMEMBERMENT/GIBS/GORE.
I've actually been looking for a review of brotato for a while. Figured I would like the game, cheers
The Bushido Blade games are highly underrated. Had loads of fun with them back in the day.
I loved the arcade cabinet, this and samurai showdown ❤
I haven't played this in years. I loved bushido blade as a kid.
Man I loooooved this game. Many many late nights with this game and my brothers.
I played Kengo on ps2 pvp so much, we really got into it innever played any of the story though.
Just thought about this game in passing a day ago. Something so ubiquitous and YT hits me with it. Tired of this thought-scan bs lol.
Still surprised there's no indie company that has made a spiritual successor type game for Bushido Blade.
The deadliest warrior on 360 is pretty similar. That's the only game I can think of.
Kenjo was very close.
What about Hellish Quart
@@lancergt1000yea
Elveon i believe was aiming to be a similar combat system. Fluid realistic movements with real hit mechanics. But i don't think it made it very far in development.
Yeah nobody knew about "The Well". I always thought it was the sequel that introduced the gun. Witch is fucking awesome... Until you miss and your fucked!!
One of those games I played a ton but forgot about. I never liked the health bar in fighters, and this game was amazing to me as a 9 year old.
I got this game of Funko land back in the day youse man it was awesome I loved it was nothing like it at the time
I rember a well but that's about it I think I played slash mode the most
With another human player it's 100000x more fun you can screw around rolling all over the ground going into different stances and trying all the weapons and weights, the sledge hammers are intense
