Through my love for surfing, skating and filming I decided to create this channel to bring it all together.
The community in the rolling sports world is a thing of beauty and with each video I aim to share that.
You'll see regular content surrounding the "Oldboyskaters", Some solo sessions and plenty of falling.

This lovely longboard blank was sadly rotting away in somebody’s shed, lucky for me they decided to give it a new home. A lot of work had already been carried out on the blank leaving little room for error when bringing it back to life. What kind of fabric do you use? Will anything work ?
I used cotton, as far as I’m aware that’s the best fabric to use. 🤙

100% we actually had a guy come out and shout as us all then start sanding down the copings 😂🫣

@@Hdtjdjbszh Yeah we were all pretty shocked. Been skating there over a year multiple times a week and never had an issue. Looks like they’ve got one had egg working there

Uh, thickness of the cloth used? 2 ounce? (Thinner cloth seems to drape easier, based on my (very) limited experience.)

Is it important to get off all yellowed foam? If not will this effect the glassing?
The yellowing in this case was due to the previous shaper having already attempted to shape the blank and left it out In their garden for a while. In terms of glassing, I’d always aim to have a uniform finish. Normally I work to around 180 grit with mine, some people may go higher. But to answer your question, I’ve personally never left any yellowed foam on my blanks so I can’t answer that from experience. From an aesthetic point of view though, I’d definaltey aim to remove it.
