RIP Stan, you'll never be forgotten. But you could've at least kept your distance to TT GO...
Compared to the audience expression with the force awakens…….oh 💩 this is horrible and woke crap, and also….oh no there are two more being made lol. The best were the first six, should have stopped there
this looks like it was made in 1977
George’s wife told him, if everyone cheers when they see the millennium falcon, you have a hit movie
In 77 I was sitting there in dark theater thinking...If the Death Star could blow up planets to powder, why did they have to "clear the planet" to blow up the moon?
the big bang theory
I miss him 😢
I saw this in a simpsons episode and actually screamed for some reason
What about his hishe cameo?
you missed the one about shut up stanley!!! deadpool
I’m still so angry this man never got to be Two Face
He is definatly worthy of lifing mjolnir
1:05 i love how stan lee was talking to lou ferrigno(the hulk from the 70s TV show) in the hulk movie
This tribute is such a kind thing to do for John Candy. He is thankful, without a doubt. As I am, we all are.
I want to point out. This was not Stan lee. The actor/creator played him. Yes. Logically every time we see him. He is… The One Above All.
Where gonna miss the legend
From 1977? 🤔
Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't there also a scene of him stepping over Miles and Pete in Into the Spiderverse
Yes, yes he did.
Dude I seriously wish I coulda been there in 1977 to see this movie for the first time with everyone else. I'm 15 so obviously I never even got to experience the best era of Star Wars but I bet it was great
It was so hopeful to see Hans Solo came back and help him out after telling him earlier "you're on your own, kid"
Notice how the movies declined since his passing? The cameos really did make the movies more special
Rest in peace, you absolute legend
I saw it in the theater in 1977. People also stayed and watched the credits and cheered for the visual effects team.
Tony Stank still the funniest.
Where is the "zip it stan lee"
No Mallrats?
Update 2025: Disney destroyed it.

😮ohh mr Marvelsgod?😅👍🏼
I am 53. Watching this made me cry.
And the golden age of modern cinema had begun, until I would say the early nineteens.
Obviously recorded next to someone fidgeting on a squeaky cinema seat.
RW:The Master of Cameo Appearances
I remember...
bro chose the best intro for black panther and the worst for the rest
My ONLY tiny beef about this moment was that something that immense would take longer to explode. I saw a fan film of it here on UA-cam and it showed a more realistic way of the Death Star going up. The main gun was firing when it suddenly conked out. Then rumbling was heard. Then minor explosions and bursts come out of the sides of the station. THEN it blew. Other than that, it was awesome.
I actually feel sorry for Bob... The Joker didn't deserve him!
1:51 didn't the original version proton torpedoes get into the hole at the same time?
This probably isn't the actual footage from the original 1977 film shown in the cinema. It's just overlaid with audio from the cinema.
wait sam raimi spiderman was marvel?
I was six years old back on my birthday June 17, 1977 when I went to see this movie and I cheered at the explosion of the Death Star and when the rebels applauded for the heros. I will remember this for the rest of my life.
You forgot the one from The Trial of the Incredible Hulk in 1988
This guy is a legend
11.51 come from here this scene shorts clip really stan lee was legend and his cameos in superhero movies make awesome good to see he appeared in DC too one movie. Missing his cameos now every intro of movies refresh memories favorite are thor 3 spiderman 3,venom & tasm every scene is good memorable too❤. Thank you for marvel superheroes now can't imagine in real life without them inspired a lot entertained a lot and keep.
Yes, the two best duo of these talented actors was this one and Stir Crazy. See No Evil, Hear No Evil, as a kid I was in love with the Joan Severance, I thought she was gorgeous, haha.
I was there. That moment was better than SEX.
i loved that summer
2:03 In hindsight, this is a very understated reaction from the audience. What Luke and Han did here, is profound. A blaster helps the force adept achieve an impossible shot with everything on the line.
1977 and for many months afterwards we were getting saturation star wars. My parents and i would go to a local pizza restaurant every Friday called Poppa's and they had a great Hawaiian but also so many gimmicks, including the set of posters including the original with leia and luke with his light saber in the air, the menacing vader and death star one, and others and IIRC you bought a coke you got a poster. Also every night at a certain time the played the SW main theme as well the cantina tune. So much fun at 7 years old
