How the Nervous System becomes Dysregulated...
In this video, I discuss how the Nervous system builds a reflexive protection apparatus from birth, and creating fast shifts in the nervous system can happen when we tap into these lightning-fast reflexes.
I hope you enjoy it!

We use muscle testing or muscle monitoring to understand client presentations in the clinic, especially in the case of injury or pain… 1️⃣ Muscle testing cops a lot of flack from the health and medical community due to the many variables it has, and that the reliability is entirely dependant on the practitioner’s skill level and neuroanatomical knowledge. That being said it can provide some ver...

    39:30 - You are essentially explaining Terrain Theory (Antoine Bechamp). This is the reason the medical indu$try “doesn’t see” what’s obvious to even a layman that is willing to see. Louis Pasteur’s Germ Theory won, while Bechamp’s Terrain Theory was buried and suppressed from common knowledge. There is no money to be made on Terrain Theory (or Truth), while Germ Theory keeps the indu$try going, hunting for newer and pricier pharmaceuticals to “battle germs and viruses”, and any attempts at killing off the “enemy” germs and bacteria while we are naturally supposed to thrive with bacterial diversity…while in reality, the Lymphatic System is what neutralizes and carries pathogens out…but most everyone’s lymphatic system is overburdened and compromised to handle coronaviruses, etc. The “Immune System” is a medical made-up term used to confuse people into this make-believe realm (mysticism/ religion) of some invisible, intangible “force” within the body (are there any detailed diagrams on the “Immune System”?), when the reality is, the “Immune System” = the mighty Lymphatic System, while the medical indu$try never addresses the lymphatic system so people don’t know it’s there and how it functions…because if they do, they’ll gain the knowledge to be able to cure themselves through cleaning up their diet and moving and releasing their lymph. The Lymphatic System is the body’s Defense System. As miraculous as all the bodily functions are, the Lymphatic System is what allows all the other systems to function through protecting the body’s integrity. The lymphatic system is (I can’t remember how many times larger…2x?) larger than the circulatory (blood) system, which expresses how crucial this system is, yet only in recent years is it getting a larger dialogue around it, and via social media…not through mainstream media outlets or the medical industry. Why is that…? 🤔 And people still refuse to question the mainstream, heavily funded narratives, and just nod their heads “yes”, while their freedoms continue to disappear. Look into the WHO Treaty that’s been slipped under our noses during the big political distraction happening in Ukraine. FDA - “food” and “drugs” should not be clustered together under the same governing body. The same entity that regulates our “food”, and food “$cience” and propaganda, regulates the drugs to cover up superficial symptoms created from the destructive and highly addictive “foods” they make money off of. These “foods” are in fact drugs, in order to fuel disease, to fuel 99% of the medical industry as a whole. Media outlets, “news”, entertainment, advertising, public education, governments, medical/ pharmaceutical industry, the “foodie culture”, corporations/ monopolies, social education programs…all the industries and large governing entities each fuel each other and create a hierarchy of a sophisticated slave class serving the very few at the top who know everything and puppeteer all of society. I know, I went into a particular direction, but it needs to be expressed. Very much appreciate this dialogue and necessary lesson on our own anatomy. We might know how to fix a car or plumbing in our house, but we have no clue on the basics as to how our bodies and minds function, and how to live harmonious lives in the realms of relationships, parenting, family, communities, get to the root of why we were created to begin with, and why we’re here, etc. At one point, you’ve got to ask yourself, why is it so difficult to get this most fundamental knowledge to life, when all the other extraneous stuff is what we’re so smart in and pays us the big bucks…? Millionaire entertainers, athletes, and celebrities…poor teachers. Makes a lot of sense…

    I think the distinction between mechanoreceptors and interoceptors is a bit confusing, as interoceptors also include mechanoreceptors no?

    • @RoryAbcoe
      @RoryAbcoe 2 роки тому

      Great video though thank you!

    • @functionalneurohealth5468
      @functionalneurohealth5468 2 роки тому

      Hi Rory, there should be no confusion between mecahnoreceptors and interoceptors. Mechanoreceptors relate to movement functions and they are embedded within muscles, joints, tendons, ligaments and fascia. Around 20% of sensory infromation going to the brain is from the Mechanoreceptive system. The other 80% is coming from the Interoceptive system which runs everywhere throughout the inside and outside of the body, and includes nociceptors, which run everywhere in the body but do not report on movement. Does Interoception effect movement, yes, but it does not "report" on it. In a hierachy, Interoception is percived as much more important to the brain as it reports on tissue states, levels of threat, blood pressure, heart rate, breath rate, organ homeostasis and much more. Hope that makes sense?

    • @RoryAbcoe
      @RoryAbcoe 2 роки тому

      @@functionalneurohealth5468 Thank you for the reply. As I understand it some nociceptors are mechanoreceptors, is this a misunderstanding? Thanks!

    • @functionalneurohealth5468
      @functionalneurohealth5468 2 роки тому

      @@RoryAbcoe technically, in Functional Neurology understanding and knowledge, they are classed separately. The reason being is they actually behave quite differently in terms on stimulation, the pathwyas they travel and their muscle inhibition patterns. What is also true however is that Nociceptors can be mechaniclly stretched or compressed though that doesn't classify them as Nociceptors. It all comes down to the particular pathways they travel. Mechanoreceptors travel up the DCML or Spinocerebellar tracts and Nociceptors travel the Spinothalamic tracts.

    Around minute 57, Perry talks about finding places the nervous system does not want him to be messing with because it's on guard... I was wondering if you or Perry know much about the cat-like reflex some people have when you go to directly touch their back (one side or both) right around the kidney location? I have seen it on multiple people and I'm wondering if you have found any interest information/correlations with it?

    • @functionalneurohealth5468
      @functionalneurohealth5468 3 роки тому

      Hey, yes it sounds like you are talking about the Spinal Gallant reflex. Its a primitive reflex that if active can be initiated by crude or affective touch along the Lumbar paraspinals/QL area. Often its linked with Scoliosis, Back Pain, Bed Wetting, Behavoural issues etc. There are also what's called Nocifensive reflexes which can be anywhere and are usually where threat is percieved. I believe that is what Dr Perry was talking about...
