When I was finally able to buy FCBF, they got into Ace and 49 eps in they cancel the anime, then a little later they end the whole franchise. I already live in an area where I am basically the only person who knows what this even is, let alone knows how to play it. This one instance has allowed me to see Bushiroad is one of the worst card game makers in the world. Nothing they make is advertised in a way where they can be known and every other competitor has shown how to do it and if this is happening to Vanguard then it's par for the course at this point.

What confuses me is that they can literally just keep doing what they do in Japan just fine. All they have to do is just change stuff for the overseas player. Don't know why they're really trying to make them the same

I have played vanguard for a decade now, and only during the first season, have I ever seen one advertisement for the game or anime. Like some of us have been saying, it feels like Vanguard exists in spite of its creator not because of it. Credit where credit is due, but no one is going to watch/play the game if no one knows it exists! TLDR: they don’t advertise and it makes me mad.

I can't dismiss your feelings on the game and I understand your love for Premium but to me it sounds like a Yugioh player complaining that Traditional doesnt get support. To me, I'm shocked they are even still holding Premium events or updating the format in anyway. The banlist in standard was whatever, no shit they aren't gonna hit Levi or T H E D O G the hits to Shojo and Shiranui were predictable. No way they are gonna make a Free 2 Play Vanguard Sim. One: there is no way it will maintain any numbers comparable to MTG Arena or Master Duel. It just aint happening. I'm suprised Zero lasted as long as it did and I'm sure the numbers weren't great in the last half of its life. Two: I see a lot of people compare Dear Days to Master Duel or MTG Arena but a more far comparison would be to Legacy of the Duelist and those series of games. If you don't like it then don't buy it, vote with your wallet. I for one, will be buying because despite it's flaws it's still a better sim than the free ones we got and I would like to play with friends that are across the county. We just can't do video duels anymore, they suck. Why are chase cards printed at the highest normal rarity? lol Same reason why Mulcharmy is a Secret Rare in yugioh. Or any other chase card in any other game lol. Here's the thing though, you don't need to buy them. You do if you want to compete at a YCS or BCS for Vanguard but that's an understood part of literally Physical TCG or Tabletop. If you are some chucklenuts going to weekend locals, you can rock up with Skull Servants or Abyss Actors or Speedroids without the $100 cards. Yeah you probably won't win every match or even most if you have players that have them but that's the game of YuGiOh. Just as in Vanguard, if you rock up with Liscafael without Yuika or Strega or Crossing Illumirays, you can still steal some wins away from your local Levi player. Just as some chucklenuts that's still using Mushiking might steal some wins from you. I can't dismiss your opinions on the game, but as someone who has been playing weekly for fun at locals and who might go to Springfest with a group with the belief we will go without a single win, I for one am enjoying the game.

Bushi doing the retrains on old g bosses sealed the format's fate. They are basically saying "go on and play with your old cards already". They wouldn't do that if they wanted to make new product for it, because you would want to push new product and not just let people re use 10 year old cards. Restricting energy and ride deck also kills any potential support or life P could get from standard. They just let the format exist because killing it would be bad pr, since 99% of jp playerbase doesn't care, bushi itself shouldn't care

Appreciate the Tachikaze mention man. Maining this clan has been a slow burn hell ever since the Angerblader ban. Even still if they take away the only format I have then I have no reason to play this game. Gaia Emperor genuinely is a part of me and my mindset on life.

In my country I think only like two shops have vanguard products. I checked my two local shops and they have vanguard logos but they don't sell any vanguard products or bushiroad in general.

I agree man. Even since they stopped giving love to Brandt Gate/Dimension Police and Nova Grappler, I was quickly done and gladly went back to YGO. I'm just almost done with Vanguard at this point. This is coming from a Brandt Gate fan.

I honestly wouldn't even care about Deardays having a price if it was like $10 and you got to play the boss units for the main cast of characters or something, but its $70 or get lost non whales.

Where are the new premium products like master deck set for new players like me who want get into the format busiroad.

....yeah I kinda agree. Feltyrosa has some good power on it, but god damn it has a Mediel problem, it has a Bastion problem, it has all the problems. Love the concept of the deck tho, and for god's sake print more Ghosts that stack themselves on top that also do at least a portion of DivineZ generics.

Now that's something I didn't quite know about yet until now (mostly cause Flamme-G is my only deck atm). Thanks for the info, and this might be helpful for when building other decks in the future.
