Balance Challenge!
Переглядів 1462 роки тому
This is a great little drill to check your core strength and balance. If you have a strong center, you will find that the legs do not play into the work. If you lack core power, you will not be able to pass the weight easily from one side to the other without a wiggle waggle. The slower you go the more challenging. Remember you have 29 paired muscles of the CORE, and you can't just point to you...
Start Up Abdominals!

Just getting back in to working out? Here is an easy way to get your abs engaged without any risk to your back. Any questions, reach out!!
Back Power and Strengthening!
Переглядів 1582 роки тому
This is an amazing exercise to help improve back strength and mobility. Start with a smaller range of motion, and then once you are able to push your thighs to the ground, compress with the top leg, then try lengthening your leg reach. Doing core strengthening by progressing slowly to different intensities really will make a difference in minimizing an injury and slowly powering up the movement.
Elevated Elastics!
Переглядів 862 роки тому
How about doing four exercises from one anchor point. Don't waste you time setting up if you don't take full advantage of the piece of equipment. I love to do 10 exercises for the entire body with one anchor. Try this one!!!
Power to the Pelvis!
Переглядів 872 роки тому
This may look easy, but it really pushes the limits of your hip strength. Keep your bottom toe off the ground. If you knee shakes or your hips have trouble stabilizing then you really need to do this more often. I have more challenging ones to follow!
One Weight Warm UP!
Переглядів 532 роки тому
Grab one hand weight and functionally get your body warm for almost any activity. Try a light weight at first and then progress to something more challenging. With a light weight, work at a nice brisk pace. With a heavier weight, slow things down. Change rhythms for variety! Enjoy!
Foot Fix!
Переглядів 1042 роки тому
I just asked to post this. If you have issues with your feet, this will give you a starting intro to Myofascial release. I have been teaching these techniques for over 25 years, and they really make a huge difference in how you will feel. For longer content check out my longer videos. I am here to help!
Better do Balance!
Переглядів 1082 роки тому
It is so important to work the core from every approach! Here is a balance and core exercise that might look easy, but it really is super challenging. The unilateral work also allows you to check if you are better on one side or the other. Our goal when doing any kind of training is to be equally strong, coordinated, flexible, on both sides of the body!
Shoulder Press!
Переглядів 592 роки тому
Grab a fitness tube and try these exercises. Having the floor support your back will work the groups differently. I love hitting the muscles from every approach, and fitness tubing is the perfect piece of equipment that offers so much more than concentric and eccentric contractions. The line of pull is important, so watch me for foam and execution!
Tubing Triceps!
Переглядів 572 роки тому
Grab a fitness tube and join along for this very effective set of exercises for the triceps. This is a very hard area to focus on, especially when you need to keep your shoulders compressed. No one wants butterfly triceps, and working them right can help with your postural muscles as well!
Weighted Abduction!
Переглядів 842 роки тому
Here is a quick exercise to strengthen your hips and give you a lateral leg challenge. The lower you can put the weight on the thigh, the bigger the challenge. Why are leg abductions so important? Well, they are pelvis stabilizers and provide power to lateral movements.
Negative Abdominals!
Переглядів 992 роки тому
Here is a little exercise that strengthens most of the core. Start by not going down too low, and when you get strong enough you can take the legs back up the same way they go down. BE CAREFULL, this should be a slow progression and you should not feel any back sensitivity at all. The goal is to keep the intercostals and ribs super closed to develop deep muscular strength. Enjoy!
Quick Floor Tubing!
Переглядів 412 роки тому
One anchor and off you go. This is a quick series of exercises that uses fitness tubing to help get you stronger faster! Don't just do one exercise with a tube. Link your exercises together to be more efficient and attack the muscles from all different ways. Enjoy!
Super Functional Sculpt Routine!
Переглядів 982 роки тому
Grab a set of weights and follow along for this total body mini-workout. It is level two because you will be using both upper and lower body at the same time. No music, just pure lifting, reminding you about your form and perfect technique! I love working with weights, multi-muscle group exercises that help with body power and function. Enjoy!

Are you a good person? Let’s check and see! Have you ever stolen? (Even if it’s something really small or not worth much) Have you ever lied? Or have you ever looked with lust ? Now, have you ever taken the Lords Name in vain? Have you ever hated someone? If you’ve ever done any of those things, you would be either a liar, a thief, an adulterer,(for looking with lust. See Matthew 5:28), a blasphemer(for taking Gods Name in vain), a murderer (for hating someone. See 1 John 3:15) or maybe even all of them. And that was only 5 of the Ten Commandments. Therefore Gods Standard Is Very High. The Bible Even Says That If We’ve Just Broken One Law We’re Guilty Of Breaking Them All. (James 2:10) So we have all sinned against God and therefore deserve death.(Romans 3:23 & 6:23)That’s why ~2000 years ago A Savior was sent; Jesus Christ, to die for the sins of The World And Then He Rose 3 Days Later . Through His sacrifice He Paid The Fine for our sins, and made Atonement for the sins of the world. Now we can be made new by accepting The Gift of Salvation. In order to accept This Gift, we must first Repent. This is a change of mind about sin (from an embrace of sin to rejection of sin) and a Turning to God. Once you Repent, you can then turn to FAITH/TRUST in the Savior. A person who has truly Repented of their sin and has Trust in Christ will give evidence of a changed life. Therefore, as a Result of Salvation you’ll then produce Good Works and the Fruit of Salvation. (Reading the Word, Acts of Kindness, readiness to help, to serve, to give of oneself, The Fruits of the Spirit, etc.) You aren’t saved by doing Good Works, but you can then produce Good Works once you are Saved,.

Nice to meet you Aileen! Google searched tennis ball self massage and ended up here. I'm really surprised that self massage isn't more prevalent, not only just among active people but for everybody!! Not many people I've talked to at the gym on campus seem to share my passion for acupressure and myofascial release. I've been tennis balling since before I bought a foam roller lol..
