First of all, I appreciate you and I like your methods and style of teaching English. You are a cheerful and so kind person ( I am following you on the UA-cam channel " Pronunciation with Emma" ). I want to clarify something for you. You and any other person on this planet have the right and the choice to be whatever he/she wants. Neither power nor persons can force you to do things with coercion. Please have a look at this quotation from the Holy Quran. It will help you understand what I mean. Al-Kaafiroon (1) Say, "O disbelievers, (2) I do not worship what you worship. (3) Nor are you worshippers of what I worship. (4) Nor will I be a worshipper of what you worship. (5) Nor will you be worshippers of what I worship. (6) For you is your religion, and for me is my religion." However, learning the Arabic language will be a great goal to achieve. I know it is not easy to learn Arabic because it is completely different from other languages around the world. Also, learning Arabic will lead you to know more about Arab-Islamic civilization and culture. Literally, you will immerse yourself and dive into the depths of a new different universe. I hope this is helpful and useful. Thank you, teacher Emma.

Nice you have decided to learn Egyptian Arabic. you can speak other Arabic dialects after you master Egyption dialect, you can find Egyptians speak other dialects as Lebanon and Suadian dialects easily because they learn from Tv series and films. Some tips from an Egyptian: 1-the pronunciation of ق(qaaf) you may find us don't pronunce it instead we say other letters such as: "يقول" هي بتتكتب كده بس هتلاقينا بنقول (يوءوول) مثال: ماذا تقول؟ في المصري ممكن تسمعيهم بيقول "بتأوول ايه؟ bita'wool aih" مثال ٱخر كلمة "قلمpen/pencil"هتلاقينه بنقوله"ألمalm "may it be similar to the pronunciation of the word"ألمpain"...( اظن انك فهمتيها I think you got it) 2-If you want to salute someone in Egypt you have these phrases: ١-" salam Alikmسلام عليكم" this is the most common and famous phrase ٢- "أزيكم يا جماعة izikm ya gamaa" 3-some idioms: جات الحزينة تفرح ملقتلهاش to express unfortunate specially you may find us laugh when saying it حلني علي متكحل العامشة يكون السوق خرب to express that someone is walking so slowly عينه صفرا=green with envy لو جبت في سيرت ربع جنية مش هتلاقيه/ جبنه في سيرته فجه=talk of devil and he is sure to appear 4-relative pronouns in formal Arabic you will find it الذي/التي/اللذان/ الذين/ اللاتي you will find Egyptians say it اللي iI recommend you to look for book called معلم القراءة it's the best book for beginners and learn the tashkil of words الفتحة و الضمة و الكسرة و السكون و المد و الشده

The channel “pronunciation with Emma” somehow brought me to this channel which I also clicked with. Once again, I admire the courage to speak up honestly, and perhaps the underlying trust in each other’s ability to listen with a non-judgmental ear. Regardless of one’s personal opinions, just like a casual talk in a pub.

I am so sorry for what you've experienced. All those people writing to you are probably brainwashed by their country's propaganda. That's sad and disgusting how easy it is to persuade some to believe that an opinion they do not agree with is disingenuous and paid-for. That's beyond ridiculous to suspect ANY government involvement! I'm so furious right now and I don't even have any good reason to be. Sorry for an emotional comment.

In a Facebook group there was or there still is a madman who began to curse those who learned a dialect instead of Fusha, accusing them of being conspirators who wanted to destroy the Arabic language, even though it is a group of dialects and Fusha. Crazy! ... Unfortunately, among Muslims there are many fanatics of this type.

As a teacher I relate to both of your stories. I feel like some people have been told that "English is so easy" and "natives don't even know grammar" too much and it shows. Native English speakers will generally never call out anyone for their mistakes in English and we''re very used to speaking with non-natives compared to other languages. There's also a lot of content out there that goes like "A2 level vocab vs C2 level vocab " which confuses learners and makes them always strive for the most complicated answer and think that we're dumbing it down for them when we actually just teach "natural speech". My lessons are also very very communication focused (partly because I'm dyslexic myself), and most students find that so fun and revolutionary, but some aren't interested in, like you said, playing board games and talking about Aliens. :p I need to work on this, but it's so much easier for me to create lessons for women and younger people.

Ghost are really in existence ever before, there are good or bad. But you should not be scared because they will never harm you, however you will feel scared once they appeared in front of you, creepy sounds, smells stingy or whatever. You will feel the thrill of fear which is very nice experience and scary.

Ok first video of this channel and already put off by the amount of navel gazing. While it’s true that people commenting on your videos aren’t in any way privy to what goes on in your personal life, it’s also true that putting content on UA-cam will inevitably put you in a situation to hear things you may not like. There is also the other side of the coin, mind you: you don’t know what goes on in other people’s lives too! So perhaps it may be helpful for you, first and foremost, that you give people the benefit of the doubt. It may be a generational thing but the type of attitude you display is dismaying to see to people of my generation, where people have more of a can-do attitude. Good luck with your channel.
