I sang this to my cat that was passing to confort her. I was holding her in my arms and this was the song I just found myself singing to her. I hadn't thought about it in sometime. I watched Outlaw Star as a kid and I always myself singing this song to myself when I was alone as a way I suppose to comfort myself. This song is really special to me, takes me right back to that kid I was.

This was a lullaby introduced to my by my uncle. I learned to sing it in Japanese at one point too. Can only remember about two lines now though 🥲. But it’s beautiful and comfortingly chilling.

Waves of nostalgia wash over me whenever I listen to Hiru no Tsuki and see the retro-scifi/Raypunk-esque art from Outlaw Star's end credits! It never fails to take me right back to late-90s, old school Toonami 🙂☺️

I still remember this song after so many years. It takes me back, when I’d stay up late to watch it as a kid. I remember singing it and trying to redraw the art because it was so unique and pretty.

This is one of the few songs that sounds just as good in English as it does in Japanese. Beautiful, just plain beautiful.

My husband when we were engaged told me he always dreamt of hearing his future wife sing this and I always wanted to find the perfect time to sing this for him, the other night I was putting our daughter down to sleep and I was rocking her and started singing this to help her sleep later that night my husband told me he heard me and went to look and saw me and our daughter and he said he cried from how beautiful it was.

Melfina was the first Fluttershy.

I turn off my lights, close my eyes, and listen to the song a few times in a row and it starts to feel like my body if floating and tipping in different directions. And all my hairs stand up on end after a few deep breaths. I slowly feel a heat in my body that makes me go numb. My mind wonders, I see in my mind's eye far distant galaxy's. O.B.E (out of body experience). Got really close with this song. Wolf and raven has a cover I use often.
