We too are trying to match the Reds and failing (not miserably but happily). We spent the last month in UK, France, Belgium and Spain. £2200 spent. Biggest spend is campsites with only 6 nights out of 31 at free places. Oh and that includes pet passport. So hoping to improve on that this month with more free park ups

Gosh thats more than Ireland but parkups are a lot easiers. £500 a week is quite expensive and you are not living it up

I love Llandudno but didn’t realise you can stop over at the cafe. Do you have to prebook? Love the waterfalls you visited. I’ve just totted up our stay in Wales this week. £156 site fees for 7 nights, £150 food inc top up at Aldi shop, fuel £80, coffee & cakes £15. Total £401. We’ve been cycling, paddle boarding, kayaking and open water swimming. We have two days left and plan to spend more time on the SUP, kayaking and swimming as well as walking to a waterfall from our site. We may have more coffee and cake 😂. Great video as always. I avoided the M6 toll recently as I found it was only going to save me 4 minutes. Always set my satnav to avoid tolls. We did a 2 week tour in france ast year thoroghly reccomend it. We only used one campsite, a municiple one, cost us 16 euro including all facilities and electric hook up! Found some lovely park-ups!.

Chester is gorgeous, isnt it? Glad you stopped at Llanfairfechan; my parents had their honeymoon there in the 50s. There's a stunning waterfall nearby which we recorded for a future video which you might enjoy. N&Nx

M6 toll really annoys me. We no longer use it but the traffic on the non toll road is horrendous 😮

Oh dear oh dear, great vlog, but you two are hopeless with a budget! 😂😂 The trip looked fab and that restaurant where the girls got brisket was fab! I think we need to give you some lessons in budgeting before we let you loose in Europe 😂

Also, there are quite a few Hickory's around as it's a chain, not exclusive to Chester. Great food

I agree beer over breakfast is the better option but not sure I would have been able to just watch Mrs H scoffing without joining in. Been a good few years since I was in Pompy and unfortunately the best place in Southsea has long gone, that's right Joanna's otherwise known as the Royal Naval school of dance. When we go to the Isle of Wight we stay in Sandringham hotel in Sandown.

St Boniface down is the wooded slope.

I tried out St Boniface down in Bonchurch/Ventnor when I first looked at it years ago I thought it was going to be well dark inside but looked at images on internet it was lighter than it looks.

I've never been to the Isle of Wight from Portsmouth I've always ever been from Southampton.

You were on Wightlink St Faith.

We go from Southampton to East Cowes on Red Funnel.

Great tips guys....I think the air fryer, fan and rainbow stool might be our next investment. Great ideas. The tandem looked so much fun with you all.
