Nice Rig!! I have a 15 but its got 38's on the drives. Yours look great. Looks like 42's?
Thank you, that one is my son’s actually. Good running tractor. He rebuilt it up to a 466 with a different crank shaft.
Hi Scott, I too enjoyed your videos because they remind me of being home again on the farm. I really miss just coming home to just to be there. And the videos are interesting. You tend to cover different topics related to farming so that I cannot guess what your next video will be about.I wish you all the best on everything you do!! Your work on the farm, your job, and everything you do for your family. And you are right, you do need to pause and rest and just take care of yourself. I look forward seeing more vidoes but you can just take your time about that if you need to. Take care: you are an awsome brother!!
Hi Scott! I've really enjoyed your videos and can't wait for more! Hope you're doing well and got that shot of rain. Good luck out there!
Thank you I really enjoy hearing from people and making that video really seemed to help me. Good things to come 👍
@@scottgilbertson7761 Thats very good to hear!
Good Luck Scott. Enjoyed working with you. On to the next adventure.
Thanks Zach , same here, see you around sometime .
Hartungdairyfarm07 is probably the best dairy farm channel on UA-cam! Pondbank farms as well
Nice to hear from you Scott. You have to do whats best for you
Thanks Brad👍
Scott, just be you and it will work out! Thank you for your videos
Scott did you find your Camera? No decals on that 14 yet
Yes I finally got it out of there and I did figure out my GoPro also 👍
Sharp 1486 awesome video
Thanks 👍
What is the horsepower on that motor?
The tractor is 100 hp pretty much right on the money. Sorry it took so long to respond
If ya can get on your fields. Now"s the time to start spring tillage.
Where are you guys located at
West central Wisconsin near black river falls
Hope your feeling better Scott! Thanks for the video
Thanks Tim , I am feeling a lot better now. Thank you for watching.👍
No decals on that 14 yet Scott?
Not yet but I better do it sooner than later, thanks for asking 👍
That chopper looks very similar to a New Holland 770 or 892 pull type.
This brings back memories. We ran an 1190 for around 25 years. Really good machine.
it was built by new idea for international. look at a new idea 5109 haybine same thing
Thanks
It’s a ford so it’s bound to give you issues
1486 is just playing with an 18 foot cultivator, should be pulling over 30 feet.
do you need any spare parts for that chopper? my neighbors have a brand new shear bar, and brand new belt for that corn head, not sure what else they have.
I will let you know if I do, thanks for the offer.
love my 1486. fantastic tractor.
I agree it’s an awesome tractor 👍
Kitty is supervising your work!!
Makes me kind of miss milking cows
Yep I still enjoy it. How are you doing, are you getting healed up?
@Scott Gilbertson last check up was good. No weight restrictions, they just said no repetitive bending or twisting
Where about do you live in Wisconsin
Around Hixton
@@scottgilbertson7761 I’m not to far south just south of Madison is where I farm
The Foam in those skid steer tires do indeed add more weight, from what I understand (example) if the tire requires 20 psi you are adding 20 pounds of foam weight. You haven’t put those decals on that 14 yet. Keep that old Red Iron Going! Good luck
I always enjoyed the Case Ih 1660 combines my cousin had 2 of them back in the mid 90s
Thanks, I appreciate hearing that.
Nice farm 🚜 👍
Thank you 😊
Hey, happy new year !
Digger?....really? Did a 5 year old name this implement?
Don’t like it don’t watch it
I've heard the implement be called multiple things in the past by various people, everyone's got there own names for it so cool your jets dude
Nice 1486
Thanks
Nice equipment you have there I thought I was the only one left running that stuff. Lol
Thanks, I really enjoy running this equipment as long as we can keep it running well.
That 14 sounds good!!
Thanks, I think it does too.
Spent some time on IH1486 discing. Loved hearing that IH talk.sounds good
What state
Wisconsin
Hey Scott. I didn't realize you had a channel, found it today and subbed! Now I have a few more videos to watch while I sit here in recovery!
Recovery? What happened? I hope it’s nothing major or bad, thanks for watching though.
@@scottgilbertson7761 Spinal Fusion
Not a spec of green or deer I’m sight love to see it
Do you not have the buzzer box to tell you when to stop? There's also updated bullet shaped spring loaded twine holders that go in the ends of the twine ams that help a lot. They make it the same as a 688.
Yep I have the buzzer box I was just running without it. I didn’t know about the other part that you are talking about, I will have to look into that, thanks.
Those skid steers are so handy!
They sure are
👍👏👏👏
This is something you really dont see done around here anymore mainly because there are very few cows left around here, But I can say for sure there are way more horses around here than cows ! I agree with not selling fodder bales, Better to use it for bedding and respread out on the field as manure. Bandit
Thanks Bandit
No argument, the International Harvester 1486 is one of the most beautiful tractors ever built :)
Yep I like the way they look too, awesome tractor’s.
👍👏👏👏
👍👏👏👏
Some days it just doesn’t go right! One thing after another! Keep the videos coming luv them Old IH!
That's my favorite tractor
Those are good working choppers. I have two of them that we are still using. have a two row and a 3 row.
Did 30 hours on 1586 last week and my 1086 with loader gets used most days. Cheap reliable power, no technology needed..
My family farmed with a 1486, spent many hours in the seat. Love your video brings back alot of memories!
Thank you
Does old farmer good to see them old tractor's still going. Looks like some well loved equipment.
Yes it is, thank you.
