Motorcycle Camping Trip Prep - Himalayan Pannier Racks
Переглядів 4014 місяці тому
Jake and Tyler are getting ready to go on our first motorcycle camping and off road adventure in a couple weeks. I need to get the Himalayan ready for the trip. This includes checking the alignment, checking the chain slack, switching the shift lever to the Tusk Himalayan lever, and installing the Royal Enfield Himalayan Pannier Racks. These are the dry bags that I will be using: amzn.to/4cv4nM...

Why I Bought a Royal Enfield Himalayan
very helpful video....Thanks
I hate philips screws omg. The dumbest invention ever.
I have a 2022 with only about 500 miles on it. Even a warm start, it will idle, fluctuating alot, and then die. It'll do this over and over again, even using the choke. I've even adjusted the throttle sensor and it didnt help. not sure what to do.
I have the same❤ I'm thibking about windscreen. I'm 191cm so i think i will choose touring seat. Best4U🎉
Prayers ❤
Nice video. I do have a small suggestion. You can avoid inadvertently causing damage to your tank by putting a couple of towels on the tank when ever you are working on the bike. Same with those beautiful mud guards. Easy way to avoid disaster. I I like that rack.
Do people have to post the most trivial BS for NOTHING?
Yes. And I will also force you to watch it.
Cool vid and cool light going to check out that cycle shop for me a headlight for my himi
good luck dude and take care
Classic ❤
25.4 mm equals 1 inch
It’s not ignorance if your were taught the opposite system literally your entire life
A millimeter is if you take 10. Millimeters it equals the size of the wrench you always loose!!
Awesome thank you. This is the charger I bought so looks pretty easy.
What do you think of a crash guard for classic 350? .
Thanks for the demonstration, my friend, truly helpful
What I think it is: bad battery. Since it starts and will stay running I believe the stator is fine, the battery just isn't holding any charge.
Thanks for this video. VERY helpful and clear. Using this and ones from Marc Stones and The Silver Fox Travels, I have installed the windshield on my Signals marsh grey without any grief!👍
nice dude
Cuul vid dude, please more. I am also setting up my himalayan for camping. And I'd like to see you make mistakes before I make them ;)
"Unfortunately I live in America and don't know what a millimeter is..." LOL, so true. I'm hitting my phone every time to convert stuff. Awesome video. Just a thought, when I got a slight flat area in the center of my tire the bike seemed impossible to keep in a straight line. I got a new rear tire and couldn't believe the difference. May not be what you have going on, but worth a closer look especially before a trip.
Imagine living in europe and watching cooking videos...
Very nice video. Unfortunately, it is listed as discontinued at revzilla and out of stock at the UK website.
The small wire you disconnected saying it was for the high beam is actually the little blue tinted key on light below the H4 on the sock headlight housing. Great video. Just found your channel, and it is pretty funny how relatable it is. I just bought my son and I Scrams so I can teach him to ride and am working on talking my 5'4" wife into a Classic 350.
Beki is 5'1 and loves her classic! It's a great choice.
@@CurlyWolf_ Thank you for the feedback.
That is a serious tool upgrade, nice.
I too hate Phillips head screws but for electronics. So easy to strip them!
🥱😴
Anything is hard for "stupid" people!
There's a lot of Americans who don't know how to do roundabouts and it's so infuriating when they're becoming more common in the United States
They don't know how to yield in general. I'm so sick of having to accommodate incompetent drivers
@@SophiaPetrillosBuddy i feel you there
Hey may I know what have you put there at where you are supposed to put the windshield??? What kind of product is that??
I just cut the original windscreen and painted it black
Thanks very much for trying out our service! Great video and very insightful. Sorry it was not your cup of tea. We can learn from this and hopefully make it a better experience for future members! Keep up the great video reviews.
Thanks for being good sports about me not loving it. I will say, I got a second box and like that one a lot more. I wear the Deus jacket I got quite a lot!
@@CurlyWolf_ No worries mate! We know it is not for everyone, but am sure glad you liked the jacket in your second box. Some month's or quarters are better than others, but we always strive to do our best. Thanks again for taking the time to make this video.
The Bosch relays, were they alternative? And were they the corresponding ones for your bike? Did they work well? Thanks
They worked for a while. Once I got the ECU update from the dealer though, it completely fixed all my issues.
Do you think it is a good bike ? 😊
Yes.
Same problem About that gear sifting, btw sir how do you figure it out your problem?
I got an update to the ECU from my dealer and it completely fixed my issues.
I just bought my wife this exact bike in the same colour and she has the same problem so I’m off to order a low rider seat😂
She really had to twist your arm to buy the socket set I can tell, LOL😂
I love the note of the himmy exhaust just cruising down the road in UA-cam videos. Which is a bit crazy obsessive because all I have to do is fire mine up and take her for a ride! 😂🤣😂🤣😂
The finish on the Hitchcock's unit is much better than the original ones from India. Nice. BTW you don't need to remove the rear seat from the subframe, just the long seat bolt and the two shock mounting bolts. I took mine off the minute I got home from the dealer
Superb video... Your voice is very annoying lady. Plz talk normally. Not like what you sound in this video.
Big improvement over the duel seat. Got a chrome version on my Red and Chrome classic. Plus you loose a pile of weight of course . Also changed out my silencer for a Punjab shorty which sounds great but did need some fiddling with in order to retain the heat shield as it has no mountings for it. Only cost £60 for the silencer and £14 for a removable baffle. Which if you dont want to upset the neighbours is needed. But my goodness it now sounds like the fabulous Velocette Thruxton.
I got the Meteor, cause it was lower than the Classic. Then put the low seat on my Meteor. I am 5 foot 5, with 27 inch leg. On tippy tip toes. The low seat on your gives, I think 30mm, Meteor’s low an extra whopping 11mm. Every bit helps. I have now purchased the Touring seat, and put to custom trimmer, who will lower it 30mm, and replace the foam with medical gel/memory foam. So hopefully gain an extra 19mm over, my low seat, but be more comfortable too, with the better look the touring seat gives. Just found your channel, already hit the subscribe button.😊 Have you heard of “Coastrider Scotland” he has a great channel, on his Classic 350, Willys Jeep, fat tyre mountain bike. Cheers, Wee Mark.😊
I haven't heard of him but I'll check it out! Thanks for subscribing! Hopefully we'll be uploading more soon, once we finally finish this bathroom remodel we've been doing.
@@CurlyWolf_ if you find him, scroll back, to last summer he did the NC500, then a month later went to Isle of Skye, then September he did Cromarty via Glenshee, and northeast coast, came down the coast, from Slains Castle. I meet him in Stonehaven and rode south to Montrose. Loved the bit, on NC500 where he did the Belach Na Ba, pass.
I'm very surprised you haven't heard of some these brands. Their some of the biggest ones around haha. Deuz is like high fashion stuff
I've heard of Deus. I think I meant the brands from the last video on this box I hadn't heard of.
Tyler please don’t get a headache
Also don’t spend the money
But I've spent all the money. And I've got all the headache.
Brother thanks is it problem for stock battery
Haven't had an issue at all with it.
Other model called meteor , its perfect for touring...🎉😊
Will this fit on a 2023 Honda Hness CB350? - I'm from India btw and I've been searching everywhere for a retro styled headlamp that I'd like to swap my godawful stock LED headlamps with. This looks the part. So please advise. 🙏🏽
I believe it would as long as your headlight bucket is the right size. I'm not sure if it's technically legally approved for roads in India though as it is only DOT approved. I'm also not sure if Revival Cycles will ship internationally but it's worth a look! I love it!
@@CurlyWolf_ I have a freight forwarding address in the US so shipping shouldn't be a problem. If you can tell me if the dimensions and electricals would be compatible with my bike, I'd be happy to purchase one.
@@imranvp I have a video on the channel where I actually install it. You can see how it plugs in in that video. Here's a link to the product page. It fits most 7" headlight buckets. revivalcycles.com/products/secret-led
@@CurlyWolf_ I do not know the size of the of the headlights on a Honda H'ness CB350. Would you be able to advise if it is compatible?
@@imranvp I believe the Hness headlight is 6.75 inches so that SHOULD mean that the bucket is 7 inches. I think it will fit. But we don't even have the Hness in the US so I can't make any promises.
Why just beginners? Ive been riding since 2013 and want one. Riding a sport bike gets boring and dangerous. This looks like the perfect bike to mod, paint, put panniers on, wring the throttle and put 50k miles on it. Cheap freedom!
It's definitely not JUST for beginners. It can be for everyone. I think after riding all the other RE bikes though it left a little bit to be desired for me. It just didn't have the "it" factor that the other bikes do for me.
Please you must protect your bikes paint work when working on your bike as you might scratch it and it’s so lovely? I have mine after Christmas same colour as yours 😊
It looks a bit close to your paint on your rear mudguard?
Pre-drill with a small drill bit on the hardwood..
