@velmathemini I bought a powder one I'll send you a pic of it on insta mate. It might be messy when it goes off but if rather clean that up rather than a burnt car \ workshop

It's a clip that slides down the side it's not really used being honest. I've changed the glass 6 months ago and it hasn't fallen out yet. It's fiddly to line up when you do fit it

I'd realised that the first time I went to bolt it up so I slackened the bolt moved it to where it sat properly and tightened the bolt again. Thanks for watching

@velmathemini yes I will be making a video of that but want help filming it I'd end up power washing the camera rather than the car 😂 I can't wait to have it back on the road. It won't be long now

@@velmathemini I didn't enjoy that job at all and would advise a pair of hands to help you if you can. Just watch the rear valance. I heard a dunk when I was jacking it into place

@velmathemini I was surprised as well how good yhe inner arch was. Apart from all the underseal. Yeah I plan on making up sections. I'm going to have to make 2 captive nut holes as well so should be interesting as I've never made them before. I'll explain a bit more in the next video. Thanks for watching mate

@@MiniDaly87 I had to do some captive nuts on the inner wing, where my ecu fits. The repair panel didn't support the bracket & I had to remove everything from the old panel & weld to the new. It went smoothly surprisingly.

@velmathemini I'm hoping it runs as smoothly as that then I've 3 to do on this. The only downside is I've to make them then weld them in as there is 0 access. Should be fun though

@@MiniDaly87 with no access that should definitely make it fun . Sounds like you'll have to weld the nut on before welding a piece in 😮. That'll be interesting.

It's always hard to know what to put on bare metal I come from a background that you bare metal and zinc prime. But I started out working on machinery. It's all a learning curve on what products to use. Thanks for watching

You would be surprised what a bit of cutting ans welding will do it's all about time and patience
