About me - Hi 👋 I'm Tiff and I'm going solo in my 30s for the first time. I'm currently backpacking carry-on only, travelling full time, sharing my tips, budget and inspiration along the way. As well taking you with me as I feel it all and really learn to find myself and heal again after all these years. I share the highs and lows and lots of laughs. Great job! You are brave doing a solo trip. Onwards and upwards!
Thank you so much! I never in my life imagined I'd be going solo in my 30s, but I'm determined to live life well and try to inspire others to do the same. 😊
Sad that these type of activities are made for wealthy tourists that can actually afford this... You would never see a Spanish speaker only group.
I'm sorry that you have this impression. The day my tour left, there were three buses of groups from the same company, and I was in the only English speaking group. I saw many people on my trip of different nationalities and budgets. Like everything, there is an option to suit everyone.
Me podrías pasar el contacto de dónde te alojaste? 🙏🏻👌🏻
Hello, it was called 'apartment with beautiful landscape!' On booking. Sorry I can't be more help
@Miss.tiff.travels thanks!
No te puedes perder el Carnaval de Oruro! 😀🎉. Saludos desde La Paz
I love the carnival! Hello, hope you are well. La paz is a fantastic city!
Great filming my friend, unique and amazing place!
Thank you! It was such a fun place to explore, right in the middle of a city! It's hard to believe they are real dinosaur footprints
*Thank you for a nice video,* Tiff. 😃!
You are very welcome! If you couldn't tell, I had the BEST time in Arequipa x
Can you turn the music down at times its blocks everything...
🙈 thank you. I will have another look
Thank you for the video!😊👍
My absolute pleasure! I hope it helps 😊 I couldn't believe how many people missed it on their tours x
Bolikistan🇧🇴
Beautiful video. Thank you for sharing few questions 1) During this 5 day trekk do they cover the magic mountain? or that's extra 2)on the last day after visiting the Machu Picchu bus ride back to aguas calientes is not covered in the Trekking package price? (extra charge or hike down for free?) 3)on the last day after visiting the Machu Picchu train ride back to Cusco is that covered in the trekking price? 4)how much was the 5 day Trekking price. Thank you!
Hi, thanks for watching I hope it helps. 1. I'm not sure what magic mountain is. 2. Yes the bus back down is not included so you can hike or I think it was $12usd for the bus. 3. The train and bus to cusco was included in the price. 4. $550usd ☺️
Absolutely amazing episode my friend! Scenes are spectacular here! Love it 👏👏
Thank you very much! I wasn't sure what to expect on the islands, but it was a wonderful trip
how many days you stayed in Huaraz? :D
Hi, I stayed for almost a week and could have stayed so much longer!
@@Miss.tiff.travels did do the Huayhuash trek? also any hotel recommendations:? ty :D
Hi I read somewhere that lake Titicaca is drying up….and the islands looks very dry in your fotage, nunca he ido, no conozco señorita !
I can't say that I have heard that! But yes much of the landscape in that region is dry, with limited rainfall.
Thank you for sharing your insights. We will be on the trip next week. Did you have any issues with the change in altitude?
Hi, thanks for your comment 😊 I hope you have a fantastic hike. Yes, I really struggled days 1 and 2, but I felt so much better after that. The altitude is what people struggle with the most.
When did you travel? I am going as a solo male in the summer. Although you had to take the horse it is still looks like one of the coolest experiences ever. Which group did you hike with?
Hi! I hope you have a fantastic time. I really enjoyed my trip and it is an experience I know I'll never forget. I did it with Salkantay Trekking- Carlos B was my guide and he was amazing. I've made a full video about it too if that helps x
❤❤❤❤❤🥰🥰🥰🥰
Thank you 😊
Maravilloso 🤩
Thank you 😊
Did you take diamox or anything for altitude?
Hi, no I didn't- though until I was on the Salkantay I can't say I'd even heard of it before. I had coca tea in a morning and a few coca sweets
Hi 👋 in minute 9.20 you look traped inside a huge spider web !sorry you’re affraid of spiders, when I was a kid my dad killed with his shoe a big tarantula spider that was 10cm of my face while asleep 💤 this was in Sicuani, Cuzco not too far away from Salkantay, I don’t like spiders either.
I just had to go and look, and I can see what you mean! That is my worst nightmare- and the reason I didn't sleep all night
Hiya yes Arequipa has one of best climates in peru, 300 days of sunshine a year guaranteed, I also like Arequipas blue skies, I have a cousin that went to live there and he seems very happy with the relocation
I completely understand why! It is such a fantastic city
Does it rain at all there
Interesting tidbit at the end, I went to Cusco in 2016 and only heard about Rainbow Mountain several years later when a friend went and I thought to myself how did I miss that when planning the itinerary??
Thanks for this, yes it is impressive how quickly it became a popular spot. Just a good excuse for you to go back ☺️
@@Miss.tiff.travels absolutely! So much more stuff to do and discover in that region
I really want to add this to my trip but I'm worried about the plane ride. I don't mind commercial planes at all, but for example I don't do rollercoasters. I can't get over that mental hump!
I completely understand. The flight itself wasn't jumpy on the day I did it, but I was also lucky and sat next to a vent so I had a cool breeze, people without one felt queezy being so hot. The staff at the airport and the guide were great at supporting and talking it through with nervous flyers x
yeah some people live in mountain because they can stand the weather and yeah water can flow from rock formation tight hole
I definitely understand why people love the mountains
Quite the special place! Thanks for sharing!
It really is! Thanks for watching x
Well done!! Keep at it!!
Thank you! Will do!
Those views are just…WOW!
Aren't they!!! I couldn't stop grinning all day x
Outstanding video! This looks and feels amazing my friend!
Thank you so much! It really is an incredible place, I've dreamt of it for years and I cannot believe now that I've been able to go. I hope people will still be able to enjoy it for a long time 🤞
beautiful streets.
@@murchinksonmorks aren't they! Cusco is a beautiful place to wander
Oh don't be so hard on yourself. Traveling and being in different countries can you out of sorts. Proper hydration, calories, electrolytes, and rest are needed to perform well, especially at altitude. Take some time to figure out what works for you. And thanks for the vlogs, I mostly have hiked 14ers in Colorado, but don't want to wait for next year (post snow) to hike there again, so am thinking about Ecuador or Peru for a high altitude adventure.
Thank you so much, you are right there are so many factors at play! It was definitely the hardest thing I've ever done, but I completely see the appeal. In terms of hiking and adventure I would definitely suggest peru. As well as the Salkantay I did some fantastic hikes and there were so many more to choose from x

Absolutely gorgeous episode my friend! 👏👏
Thank you so much! It was such a roller coaster day! Amazing highs and some pretty stressful lows
If you ever are around Ollantaytambo there is a small cave called the "Nuapa Iglesia" and it is one of the navels or centers of the Earth. Someone tried to blow it up either because they thought there was gold or something inside or possibly because they were scared of the power or energy of the altar.
Wow I did not know this! I'm gutted that I missed this when I was there. Though I don't think this will be my last visit to peru
Bravo 👏 well done, eres una chica muy valiente ! and that ending with q pisco sour “clásico” must have tested epic hehehe great achievement indeed like the British say.
Thank you! Yes the sour was exactly what we needed! Feeling proud, but can't believe I've still 2 more days of hiking to go
Fantastic. Thank you so much for making this, an incredible reminder of what an amazing place this is, and what we had to do to see it.
Thank you for this! It really was the hardest thing I've ever done and I know that it was only possible with such an amazing team. I had a lot of fun putting together this series, trying to capture the energy and emotion along the way x
Is it easy to enjoy without knowing Spanish
Yes I think so! Knowing Spanish would have made things easier, but I still think it is enjoyable without.
@Miss.tiff.travels thanks for the information and videos
Have you heard of the Nazca lines?
Is Cusco on your list?
definitely
@murchinksonmorks yes love to hear this! Cusco is amazing x

Hi! You shouldn't pay any more than $20 for any of the different dune buggy options
Hi yes sure Huacachina is only one of several attractions in that aérea, on its own maybe not worth it, at least for me.
I know what you mean. I have to say I loved my time there in the end, but at first I wasn't sure. Where in the area do you prefer?
I'd love to hear your thoughts ❤
OMG ! hehehe well done at high altitude, not every body can do it, specially over 50s like me.

Welcome to Lima, I use to live in Didcot, Oxfordshire for 10 years but came back after the credit crunch in 2009 ….working for a uk 🇬🇧 company here in peru, hope you enjoyed peru, it is inexpensive at least for a Brit…warmer weather, I never got used to the winters, bbrrr to cold for me a lizzard from the desert hehehe
Hello! Thank you for your message, I can definitely see why you chose to return to Peru - such an amazing country that I have loved being able to visit.
@@Miss.tiff.travels hope you enjoy your time in Inca Country or Llama Land hehehe, only be careful with the altitude, better rest 1st 24 hours with loads of infusions, coca te, walking slowly if you go out and about, also eat light meals or soups. Take care !
Thank you! That's great advice, I definitely think I underestimated the impact of the altitude
@@Miss.tiff.travels yes hehehe your body learnt the hard way but survived to tell the story, it ain’t rare tourists having health breathing problems up there, I learnt the hard way too at 10 years old by runing and playing in Cusco square just after the plane landed, soroche was awful for 2 days, since that age I am carafull to climatize for 24 hours , bye!
