Bro found the car that fits EXACTLY in his garage lol. Throw a hitch receiver on and you’re parking outside haha
Yeah it’s a tight fit!
They sent me the orange Stick Locs as a warranty fix at no cost. Just emailed them pics of the broken clips.
Awesome yeah they should hold up much betterp
We did not need to listen to 8 minutes for this, start it and show us
Move along
Shut up and show me the sound lmao
You bet!
Im in process of making a battery box out of a harbor freight ammo box with a clam lock attachment so i can unplug the wire and grab by handle and take inside to recharge make it easy accessible
That’s a great idea! Good option for quick access and recharging after use
Ive got the bilsteins on my 05 f150 about the same lift on 35s. I use it for cutting and hauling firewood, really need to get a heavy duty truck but its been doing good so far
That’s great bilsteins do well with heavy hauling and towing!
Mine started out hot on driver's side, cold on passenger side. Then it stopped allowing me to switch between the defrost, vents and floor. I changed my vent door actuator ( driver's side ) today. It still won't switch between the 3 vent options and I have no heat either. Anybody else have these issues on experience this? Thanks!
Do you have dual climate control for driver and passenger side?
Great video, thanks for finding the solution. I've been dealing with vent only HVAC for 4 years. lol
Hope it helped you with your truck issue!
Bought them and same thing just happened to mine. Does your steps on the sticks have a little bit of play in them? This is my first pair of climbing sticks so I don't know how they are suppose to feel or how they compare to others. Mine is very slight, and my guess is it could be like that in all sticks that bolt on in the same way.
Yes there’s a little play in the steps but solid wall on both sides in the notch area where they bolt in so shouldn’t expect any safety issues or failure with it
All of my Fords that recommended 5W20, I switched to 5W30 years ago..
Much better oil for them!
Never use 20 weight anything... They only use it for better gas mileage , not longevity
Yeah cafe regulation stuff
The 5.0 is no longer using 5W20, Ford switched to 5W30.......... The GT500 uses 5W50 synthetic
I saw people running up to 50 weight
When you are towing, how loud is it in the cab of the truck with the S-Type? 5.0 love to rev when towing and my concern is it gets old after awhile. I have a 4 hour drive to the cabin while towing so that’s why I ask. Looks like you have a fish house, how does it sound while pulling that? That’s more than I would normally be towing.
It’s definitely noticeable towing, but just a nice rumble nothing like the ATAK when I had that on. S type is a perfect middle ground exhaust
I went straight to Eibach and purchased the Snap Ring pro truck shocks for my 2011 z71 Silverado. I live in Riverside Ca, and their company is right up the way in Corona so I got my shocks in 4 days after purchase. I was debating and going back and forth for months. I started at all I need is the yellow bilsteins (4600), then it was 5100s, then did some reading and people said it’s a rough ride and my 2011 z71 is already rough with the towing package, so I thought about fox. I was dead set on Fox until I started to think that I’m going to have to rebuild them every 30-50k… and spend $1400 upfront… Then Eibach, price point was very affordable, great reviews and people said it’s in the middle of Fox and Bilstein. I had the existing stock OE shocks on my truck, with a spacer. The ride was rough anyway. The ride now is a touch softer (but not much). I would love to have the plush feel of a fox, but I know I’ll sacrifice other things that I need. So far these have been a good purchase. I’m probably going to upgrade my upper control arm, I think that will soften the ride a bit, and also upgrade my ball joints. I don’t do any off-roading really, but if I need to I’d like to be able to, so this was a logical purchase. Believe me I started going down the rabbit hole of pumping it out and getting Fox 2.5s… Then I brought myself back to reality and bought something sensible. Quality built, easy to install. Only thing I had to get was a spring compressor.
They’re a great value and a great Goldilocks in the middle for ride comfort and performance!
I have me a set on my n70 hilux 31/10.5/15 they have heaps of grip on gravel ride well quiet on road, they dont like being skidded up i done some skids on gravel and the tread sipes all opened up they have heaps of tread still
That’s great to hear you’re happy with them. My experience is they’re good in the snow but not super aggressive.
enough room for 2 guys and 2 teen agers ?
Yes for sure probably only one fishing hole each though with gear and chairs
@@TrophyTimeAdventures Thank you .i bought one fri and tried it sat and am relly pleased with everything .the op rod is hard to get in but that is no big deal
What about running 5W-30 synthetic blend would that help? or You have to stick with full synthetic?
Synthetic blend would help as well! The thicker 30 weight is what helps
I have a 2016 f150 lariat. Dual climate zone. My passenger side is blowing hot air (no matter what I do), but driver side blows a/c (I have it on a/c mode) driver side works as it should. Looked it up online and said it’s the “blend door actuator” should I order the part and change it myself? Thank you in advance.
Yeah look up the configuration for the lariat with dual climate control as mine is only single climate control so I have one door blend actuator for vent direction and then another for temp control. I think you may have two temp control actuators for dual climate control.
I spend 14 hours a day in my car and can’t stand drone noise. I once removed the muffler, but the drone was unbearable, so I had to reinstall it. I want to enjoy my V8's sound without cabin noise. Will this system avoid that annoying drone?
Yes it’s a great system for no cab drone with a great exhaust note when you get on the skinny pedal. It also has a nice aggressive cold start that mellows out after warm up. I came from the borla ATAK and while that sounded awesome and mean it was a little too much volume for me especially when towing travel trailers and boat. Either way the borla quality is the way to go!
I just bought a 16 with this motor and the day after I bought it I then noticed the tick and it's scared the crap out of me. I bought this truck yesterday and tomorrow I'm taking it to a mechanic. It has 177,000 miles and I got a good deal I think but I'm pretty worried about the noise
Definitely check with your mechanic and also consider a little heavier oil!
At 134,000 miles I finally switched my ford to 5W-30 only because I purchased a pentastar 3.6 that called for 0W 20 and it made me to start looking into what café standards were and what all this was about
Yeah trying to squeeze every fraction of MPG out vehicles, makes sense for them as long as they engineer and test the powertrain to withstand their warranty duration after that it don’t matter to dealers/automakers. I’ll error on the side of more engine protection!
I run Valvoline Full Synthetic High Mileage with MAX Life 5W-30 in my 2016 F150 5.0. I buy mine directly from Valvoline $44 per box
I do the same! Every now and then they have 10 or 20% off and shipping!
My temperature is stuck on high heat everything else works not sure what to replace
Bummer I believe there’s a temp blend module did you check that out as well? I think that’s ones on the passenger side from what I’ve seen in other videos.
Mine too! I was looking for a video for replacing it.
I have the same problem has anyone figured it out😢
@@ThorhamDid you figure out the heat problem yet ?
When it was trickling was it going down towards the oil pan
No just small swell leak never went below the valve covers before I got it sealed up
I just purchased these after hard research! I couldn’t find any bad reviews on them, just good ones. I like how it has more of a highway tread, but looks rugged! They make my Ram Rebel run smooth unlike the Dura tracks.
That’s great to hear! They’ve been a great tire for me, looks like they just came out with the next revision call the stronghold a/t that retiring the at3. Those will likely be my next tire they look great as well!
@Yea I was thinking of getting the strongholds but there wasn’t enough reviews on for being to new. And my local discount tire didn’t have them in stock. So I went with the older model. Thanks for your response buddy!
Separate air to each bag keeps the pressure even. With a T fitting as the truck rocks back and fourth the air travels from one bag to the other making you bags only effective when the truck is on level ground and causing a rocking sensation going in and out of driveways/uneven ground etc.
Yep that’s correct, depends on what you prefer for your bags
How do they work in deep snow and slush and ice?
They’re a great tire for wintery conditions, here in Minnesota they are a great tire for those conditions!
@@TrophyTimeAdventures Thank you for your response. I am looking at these tires and the Firestone Destination XT & the BFGoodrich KO3. I’m in south central Pennsylvania and get all the seasons.
Mine broke the same way. All four, and not a ton of use. Tetherd said they have put my replacement clips in the mail. We will see how it goes.
They will break again as they did with me after they sent replacement clips, I’d go with the orange stick loc pins from them they’re cheap!
Just picked up a set of at3 LT 265/70/R17 121S to put on my 2019 Sierra 2500hd 6.0L 4x4 crew cab long box. Can’t wait to put them through the paces, towing, hauling, road tripping and hunting!
They’re a great tire, keep them rotated and they shall last!
What tire pressure were you running?
36-37 psi, air up more when I would be towing
How’s the droning inside the cab with the s type? I put a flow master turn down in mine and regretted it instantly. The droning is crazy.
There’s really no drone with the s type just a slight v8 rumble when cruising
Where did you get the bag cups from
I got them from rough country!
I have 2025 Trail Boss I would like to level the front end for about an inch. Can i use stock springs with Eibachs shock? My Tacoma has 5100 and i do not like the stiffness ride.
Yes you should be able to use stock springs with these. I opted for the eibach springs to get a little more lift from the setup
@ Thanks for the reply! Do you I would need an alignment afterwards? Since I’m only increasing an inch, not sure if I need it.
Resonator still on for both?? Which muffler did you favor? Is it just me or is the Atak a little more loud, but the S is more deep?
The ATAK has a resonator to keep drone down but it’s straight piped from there all the way back. The s type is resonator and muffler keeping the overall volume down a bit, however it is no slouch it’s the perfect happy medium. They both sound great but the ATAK is a little too loud for me especially when towing
Why not just take the panel off it's easy if you're a 14 year old contortionist and not a 67-year-old lumpy old
Oh you betcha
When you said hauling, do you mean constantly or just minimal?
Occasional towing or hauling
How is the road noise on those tires
They’re surprisingly very quiet from new all the way up to 60k miles I put on them!
Maximum Articulating is the word you're trying to say
You got it!
Sounds great man, no Shorty X-Pipe & Longtube Headers on it? Just the Borla ATAK Exhaust on it 🤔?
Yep just the cat back borla ATAK exhaust, everything else is stock for exhaust!
I'm getting the at4w on my dually this week.
Very nice! What size you going with?
Want to sell the glacier?
Anything’s for sale for the right price ha. You in the market for a glacier?
I absolutely love that layout and size and I'd be very interested in talking to you about buying it
How can we message or talk about it?
I'm serious if you're interested in selling
I’ll likely hang onto at least for one more ice season, perhaps get into a little bigger tandem in the future as the family grows!
Hello! Thanks for the information. I'd like to offer you some advice, not that I'm any sort of video creating guru. In fact I hate wasting my time creating UA-cam videos. And my videos suck ass. I am however a teacher. I speak in front of large groups often. And the best advice anyone ever gave me is to stop saying "UMMMMMM" . They said, "you might as well be saying DUHHH every sentence. Here's how you remove a flywheel DUUHHHHH. The compression of this 25 Evinrude should be DUHHHH. It discredits your authority" So I stopped saying "UMMMMMM". Just use a pause. And practice the dialog ahead of time. Or edit the video. The pause is the best, better to say nothing than to discredit yourself. I'll be happy to delete this comment if /when you want. I just want you to succeed in your endeavor here on UA-cam. Oh and you can't turn off the GPS on the Helix. You can avoid the map view which may help. Clean, tight power connections which are soldered (no crimp connections) will also reduce any unnecessary resistance. I found your video because I'm employing my Helix 10 on the hard water this winter. Thank you!
Appreciate the feedback!
i got a 2011 5.0 and run 15-40 at 194444 miles running strong
That’s a good run!
This exact same thing happened to my stick and I JUST bright them put them together three times and BAM they broke thanks for this video I’ll be doing this !!!!!
Yeah it’s a joke definitely a design issue the sticklocs work great and are cheap fix! The sticks are awesome otherwise!
@ yeah I’m gonna get the orange plugs for mine
Why...was this so long? You did nothing to help. No thank you. UN merry Christmas to you. Shit or get off the pot my gaaawwrrrsshhh SHUT UPPPP
Hey man I have a question I got the same system and cannot get it work I installed everything correctly and it just won’t work
I'd double check you have the hood open sensor in your truck what model/trim level you have?
What tire size do you run on the truck ?
I’m running a lt295/70/18 which comes out to 34.3x12 roughly depending on wheel size
Sounds killler! I see that you had the Atak system before, was there a reason you switched to the S type? I currently have a 21' F150 5.0 with a Borla Xr1 muffler only. Im looking to go full cat back with either the Stype or Atak but keep the resonators on. I like the Atak but hopefully its not too loud when driving around town.
The ATAK sounds really good but got to be a little too loud for me particularly when towing. The s type is a great all around exhaust note in my opinion
Awesome aggressive sounding exhaust from Borla for the 5.0 coyote. Aggressive tone while on the gas and slight rumble when cruising with no interior cab drone!
This just happened to me just bought them
Yeah bad design for sure, switch to all stick loc pins from them and should be good
