Thanks for this.. I used to use quizlet when I took my prerequisites.. but now in the program I renewed my subscription.. ur so right.. I definitely can’t use how I studied in block 1 in block 2 the instructors are completely different..

Here's the problem. The starting rate is low. They want you to be available for any shift/day. They want a commitment. They're actually looking for cheap labor. Time for nurses to unionize.

Thank you so much for posting this. I agree with just about everything you said. I don't think grades make you as a nurse. Some people are good at taking tests and some people are better Hands-On like myself. I said the exact same thing the other day. As long as we give it all that we got and we are studying we have to leave the rest up to God.

Youngest granddaughter graduates ABSN course on Dec 18, 2020. She was just accepted at Houston Methodist mother/baby unit as her graduate residency. Her program will be a year. After one month, she was transferred into L&D - her dream job!
