What’s the challenge ID? I downloaded the app! I’m Ready!
it won’t let me create a challenge this far in advance 😭 but i’ll drop the challenge ID closer to the date! Friday January 3rd!!
Love the hair!😍 simply beautiful
thank you 🥰
15,000 steps is a lot honestly. I did it for a month but my body was under so much stress. 10knsteps is a great minimum
the key is to find your sweet spot!
Hey Sis 👋 You did not fail because that is an accomplishment no matter what. This is just a reset. Sometimes it good to rest ❤
🥹🫶🏾
It's okay sis! We all have to make adjustments and realign to accomplish our goals! I reccommend getting a walking pad so when don't feel like walking outside you can just walk on it and watch a movie. You got it!
exactly! and i agree, a walking pad will def help me to accomplish my goals. good thing i have a treadmill at my house in GA where i’m moving to!
Missed u Missy ❤
and i missed yall right back 🥹🫶🏾
I’m glad that you are different from all other influencers and you show us the truth. We r human we all have set backs but seeing how positive you are and how motivated you still are is motivating to us and helps keep us accountable. I fell off too but after seeing your video I know it’s time to get back to it and that’s ok. Keep going you got this !
thank you 🥹 & exactly we’re only human! the only way you lose is if you quit! & that’s just not happening. i will recommit as many times as it takes!! & WE are in this together!! we got this 👏🏾
You didn’t fail. This is part of the journey. You’re taking literal steps to the woman you are becoming which is not always going to be a straight path. I’ve been sick lately and I can’t wait to get back to my steps and my Zumba. I love how I feel when I walk it’s my therapy. Even not able to do my usual routine I know I’ve changed and your decision to recommit means that you have changed mentally and physically too. Idk how I’ll feel tomorrow but I’m going to commit to a 10-15 minute walk and work my way back up. You got this!
you said it best 🥹 thank you so much! i hope you feel better soon 💐
Welcome back ❤ We missed you. So proud of you for taking accountability and being a source or inspiration and encouragement. You are being realistic and we love you for it. It's ok to have a set back once in a while it's never linear what matters the most is getting back on track! Journaling helped me take notes of how it feels when I fall of the wagon and think about how I would feel if I don't make better choices. Keep going and stay strong
stop don’t make me cry 🥹 thank you so much 🫶🏾 you guys really keep me going
She’s baaaaaack!!! And I knew you would be. You didn’t fail, Sis. Success is not linear. You had a minor setback which is to be expected (you’re human) but listen, you’re goals are already achieved. You just gotta catch up to them. You’re thissssssclose!!! I believe in you ❤️❤️❤️
a WORD!! thank you so much your support means everything 🥹 heavy on the goals are already achieved, i just have to catch up 😤👏🏾
@ You’re Welcome!! You got this🥰🙌🏽💪🏽
Amazing to see you back! Not going to lie I stopped watching because I fell off and felt ashamed but I'm so happy to see that the important thing is getting back up! I'm choosing my hard!
exactly, it doesn’t matter if you fall down 9 times as long as you get back up 10 times!!
yay! downloaded and added you on pacer :) so excited for the challenge in the new year!!!! let's get it
perfect! def adding you back 🥰
Im here to recommit with you girl! Im looking forward to this. Just to confirm the challenge will officially start January right?
yessss we got this!! Friday January 3rd 🥳
@@SheroiTaylor Opps you said that on the live sorry!!
lol no worries
Great to see you back on it! Decades of the cycle locked in two truths for me. 1 weigh every day - 2 track what you are eating in the simplest way you can. Long term the time commitment of walking is hard to sustain. I was averaging 25K a day at one point. You can't out exercise "bad/out of control" eating. Looking forward to adding my steps to yours next month. Getting back on any plan quickly is the real win. It's ok to have a bump, just come get us when you feel one starting.
weighing every day really holds me accountable. i swear by it!
Does Pacer count steps based on location or do you have to have something like a fitbit to hook up?
i believe it syncs with the motion sensor built in your your phone. if you have an iphone, your health app records your steps. i’m not sure if androids have a built in pedometer 🧐 but i believe it also uses gps tracked activities. when i use my apple watch, it records my distance and route but ofc that info is private!
@SheroiTaylor I'm not sure! I'm on an android, and some appear to have the functionality to count steps, but I've never gotten it to work on any of my phones. Map my walk converts to steps somehow.... think that is distance with a pace length put in when I set it up maybe? I'll fiddle and see if I can figure something out.
do you have the google fit app? i think that’s the android equivalent to the apple health app. you should be able to track steps using that app!
@SheroiTaylor I've tried it in the past but it didn't work with my phones for some reason. I'm not sure if I was the one that didn't record any steps or of it was the one recording steps while I was standing still. These days I use MapMyWalk for walks away from the house and then I just log in MyFitnessPal based on how long I walk if I walk in my house.
Glad to see you are doing okay! I say the post about moving back across country so figured it was moving collateral damage and you were just prioritizing getting that done. Glad you are jumping back on track and not sick or something. It seems like everyone is getting the crud again this year.
Pick up yourself and move on we love you 😘 love ❤️ ❤
🫶🏾
I love your energy! Thanks for sharing your journey. 💚
thank you 🥹🩵
Just checking on you! It’s been 2 weeks and we haven’t heard from you. How are you feeling? Just here to give you some encouragement. You got this. Don’t give up
you are so so so sweet 🥹🫶🏾 i appreciate you so much!!
Hi! Thank you so much for sharing your walking journey 😊 I also want to try doing 15k steps per day and wanted to ask if you did all the steps in one go or you broke it out throughout the day? And before you started this walking challenge were you already really active or more sedentary? I am just trying to gauge if I will have similar results because I already do 7500 steps on a regular basis so maybe my body is already used to exercise and won’t lose as much.. thanks in advance!!
ofc 😌 i do my steps all in one go. it takes about 2.5 hours. i was sedentary before hand. i used to walk 10,000 steps a day but i wasn’t really consistent and i didn’t see results, so i feel like 15k is my sweet spot. you got this!
Will it be ok if you sew your wigs down because I like my wig sawed down?
What shampoo to use?
Yay!! Congratulations! 🎉I’ve been walking around the house while wearing my 5 month old since it’s getting cold Lol 😂 she loves it and goes to sleep!
omg i love this lol
Try books by Kia Abdullah if your into thrillers. They had me hooked abd helped me during my daily walks.
thank you!!
@SheroiTaylor 'Next of kin' is good it's emotional, but kinda traumatic if your a parent. 'Take me back' is also good. If you like court room dramas with twists and turns you should enjoy these books. The couple next door was okay, but, the first two titles I mentioned were really interesting.
You are so inspiring!!!! I've been walking 3-5 days a week since you've started walking. I have lost 8 lbs and at a plateau also but feeling so good! 🎉🎉 You look great!!!
thank you!! and i’m so happy for you omg ☺️ i hope you’ll join us for the walking challenge in january!!
Can it be used as a sew in foundation?
i don’t think so 🤔
Hi! Just subscribed. I’ve lost like 13 lbs and got out of pre-diabetic range by walking 10k steps and a very sustainable calorie deficit I’m on week 8! This January challenge is intriguing 😂 count me in!
👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Big walking win for me. Started my 3 mile walk and it was slightly drizzling. I just kept on. Towards the end it was full on pouring and like 40 degrees out but I kept going. Had no choice since I was on a loop but still! Old me would have went right back in the house with the slightest ounce of bad weather. 🎉
that’s what i’m talkin about 👏🏾 you’re killin the game! the same thing happened to me lol i got caught in the rain, then it got dark & there were frogs everywhere 😭 that was def not on purpose lol but i survived 😭
@@SheroiTayloryes! We didn’t melt! 🎉🎉🎉
This is such a beautiful and honest message. I can relate to so much of this, thanks for sharing your story ❤
thank you 🥹🫶🏾
Let's do it 🎉
👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Your before and after pictures are crazy. I’m pregnant (currently 29 weeks)and I’ve been at it (10k-12k steps every day) since September and i can definitely see a difference in my body in this pregnancy versus my first. I’m excited to see what my body looks like after birth because of the walking.
wow omg that’s crazy you say that bc i always see super fit girlies in the gym lifting heavy weights in their third trimester & im always soooo impressed but im like idk about all that but i def want to keep up walking when the time comes. im so impressed that you’re getting those steps in while literally creating life 🥹 women are so amazing!!!! i’m so excited for you!! please update us after birth & let us know if walking made a difference!! wishing you good health, peace & joy for you and your family ✨🫶🏾
Thanks for the shoutout! I've got you. 😊 I just hit my down 20 pounds since beginning of July with this morning's weigh in. My measurements a couple weeks ago were surprising. My arms have actually gained (the batwings are real lol). I was just surprised how much it all added up to this last time when I measured (even with the gain on my arms Im down something like 12 inches overall). Get better and keep going!
omg body recomposition is real! 20 pounds down 👏🏾🎉🔥🔥 that’s not easy!! but you’re absolutely killing it 👏🏾👏🏾 i’m so glad you reminded me to take measurements, it’s a great way to track progress outside of the scale!
@SheroiTaylor definitely! If you have clothes you had tested fit on at first, those might be another good one. I bought a couple sizes of pants when it turned cold the first time here because I didn't fit my jeans anymore. Didn't even try on the smaller size because the bigger one was tight. One of the kids commented on them being baggy the other day, I totally brushed it off because I had worn them the day before too, you know how the weird stretch stuff they put in jeans can make them bag out. But got to thinking about it and tried the smaller pair yesterday. They are tight, but they fit and can be zipped and buttoned now.
That’s such a huge difference! Even your tattoo looks different 🥰 Edit: I didn’t know you were doing this with no diet wow! Impressive!
yesss omg idk if you count intermittent fasting as dieting? but i’ve mostly been eating what i want! i eat less junk as a result of being active but that was not intentional
@@SheroiTaylor no intermittent fasting isn’t a diet just an eating schedule 😁 but I’d imagine it does lead to less snacking or fewer calories since your eating window is smaller 🤔 intermittent fasting has tons of benefits that result in weight loss so that makes sense!
@@SheroiTaylor I’d mention that next time you say you haven’t been dieting though because a lot of people will take that as face value if they haven’t heard you mention intermittent fasting and think they’ll get the same results as you while changing nothing about the way they eat 😁
@@SheroiTaylorwhat is IF eating window ?
Thank you!
ofc!
I was on an 11K walking challenge and I can see the difference. I am going to shoot for 12K starting next week. I want to lift sometimes but I cannot fix my mind to do it anymore. I often feel bad because people always say walking isnt enough but clearly it is.
walking is enough idc what anyone has to say 😤
@@kimberlycorrine definitely enough! If you want some weight to go with it, I love my 12 pound weight vest! They have studies showing the vests (even light ones) help with bone density, stamina, etc. And I can tell you my posture has been helped a ton because my weight vest pulls my shoulders back so I don't have the lurch sort of thing going on that I'm a bit prone to.
@@GoingGreenMomyes! you just reminded me to start wearing this again. I used to wear it and saw results soon quickly.
@@Marsha-be Love it!
@@GoingGreenMom great idea frfr!! I will order one today!!!
Count me in 🎉
Me too
yayyyyyyyy i need all hands on deck 👏🏾
IM INNNNNNN HELLO
LETS DO ITTTTTT omg i can’t wait
@@SheroiTaylor Patiently waiting for January lol
Props for walking when unwell. Feel better soon! You might need to raise the goal for your walking challenge - if you can do 500K. I get 300K+ every month and I'm sure you have other fans that want to play.
thank you 🤒 i thought about raising the goal but i just wanna see how this one goes first. i wanna see if everyone shows up and shows out!! exceeding the goal would be amazing 🤩
