How I prune my banana plants before spring

This A I voice is annoying, and your video sucks because of it.
Keep up the good work.
I need this for my project in 7 days
I wonder if that would help with my Harlequin bugs that seem to resist all regular eco remedies. Soapy water is the most popular treatment but it’s pretty hard to target them each time with a bucket of soapy bubbles. The oil might help with getting the soap under the shell like barrier. I think we’re in for another bumper plague this summer in NW Melb.
I haven’t noticed them much near my garden. I think the oil is the key, although I don’t know the complete science of it. One summer I used soapy water only and they came back.
So helpful thank you! Noticed a tonne of these on ours and weren’t sure what they were.
mee i have its so good
Why not chop and finish drying in a shed or something so it's less a problem to pick up lol or just do the seeds over a bucket?
Chicken poo FREE FERTSLIZER
@@Reyn-hw1jr yes that’s right. I love to use it but I don’t have chickens so I buy chicken manure

How does this not drown the plant?
The plant needs drainage holes. When you take it out all excess water will leave.
Mom always did this
Smart lady
That's really smart! Thank you! Keep up the great work!❤
Glad it’s been helpful
Nice tips ❤❤❤❤❤
Super easy
Have you eaten loquat? What do you think?
They will turn red, but they won't be as flavorful and spicy.
I bought the clear cover online

How do I ensure moth larvae don’t penetrate the kernals and hatch moths in the winter?
You can try putting netting covering over the kernel to protect them from insects
Have you had any wind damage ?
Don't believe you. Show side by side comparisons. Watched another short today about how roots growing deep is important for a plant that age. Plant 2 seeds the same time. Feed one from above and one from below. I would be very interested to see the roots and if water feeding from below produces deeper roots or not
Put it on the outside of the box. The slugs would just reach over to a leaf to get to the fruit if the copper is on the inside. Also cover your stakes with copper as well
Looks like it needs some Epson salt
I’ll give it some when it comes out of dormancy
I'm starting doing my compost the same way😊
🤟🏿💚🖤🪶
Might be wrong but looks like your grafted ones are all in pots and seed grown are planted in ground? Wonder if this has anything to do with it? My money would be on variety differences though since the grafts either rootstock or grafted tops might be a later season variety than what’s emerged from the planted seeds
@@moonorchid9242 I hadn’t even thought about the pots and the ground 🤦♀️😅 I’ve got them in pots until I live in my own house.
@@busychrisgardening completely understand. Especially with the way our housing market is atm!!! Made me think of it because I have a grafted nectarine in my back yard and its got a lot of growth happening. But Victorian weather has been weird this year and lots of things are growing that shouldn’t be (still have a tomato producing from last summer haha)
@moonorchid9242 I’m not surprised about the tomatoes still producing.
Interesting 🤔 does anyone know why?
I’m trialling this fertiliser. Let’s see how it goes.
Take it off to put the energy in the other melons.
I lost 3 like that then another one came on the vine and is doing well. The first couple usually die off.
The vine looks fine and so do the other watermelons i think its just wilting off because it wasnt polinated properly
Most fruit trees - stone fruits, citrus
She’s cutting them to green better to leave them a few days to dry out
Every small seedling I plant is decimated by slugs. I've used non toxic snail killer (doesn't work) & vegemite/water (gotta change daily as it stinks). They win every time😭
Thanks ❤
@@robertoguajardo2518 my pleasure 😇 hope you have a great harvest
Do you fertilise your citrus? What do you use?
Do you eat sbowpeas? Do you grow snowpeas?
What varieties ate you planning to grow ?
Borage is a wonderful pollinator in the garden
Hii
Hi 👋 😊
I love pumpkins. I just have trouble growing them. It’s that those bugs that go into the stem keeping them and killing them what’s your advice?
I recommend adding more flowers like Queen Anne’s lace (from the carrot family) or letting carrots go to flower, they will attract predator insects like parasitic wasps. These wasps are harmless to humans but add bio security to your garden. The wasps parasitise the insects and lay their eggs on them. When the larvae emerge they feed off the insect.
Thanks for the tips! I was scared at first lol
I live in the Upper Hunter NSW and keep reading that I can plant broccoli, I always thought that broccoli was a winter crop??
Do you still get low temps overnight or in the morning? That could be why
We’re anywhere between 0-10° overnight for the rest of this month (depending on rain)
@@3LittleSprouts I find it still quite cold inseptwmber

Damn, really felt bad for the dudes that everyone popped on as soon as they walked out. My confidence would’ve been shot.
