Hiiiiiii i came from the fat electrician

My father was in the 11th in the Ft Campbell period. I would like to know when you will have a book about that period available. He passed almost 5 years ago and I miss that old paratrooper very much.

All these men's were Hero's! 🇺🇲

My Dad, Stanley (Tinch) Rezmerski was part of the 511. He wouldn’t talk about the war but did share a few memories with his seven children.

Does anyone recognize Irv Friedman?

My father-in-law Maynard Marburger was with the 11th at Campbell when they went over to Germany in/around 1955. He had the misfortune to hit approximately 10 feet of snow in Germany when his parachute deployed in the feared Mae West by 1957 I believe. He has passed away and I always hoped to find details on that jump or others, any tips on locating such data?

Without their bravery, my husband would not have his son, and my son would not be alive. Nor would I. She nearly got a bullet in the head, but my grandmothers arm relaxed holding her and the bullet hit granny’s watch… My Aunt Teresita was interned in Santo Tomas Thank you for this🙏🤗

P.S. ----Feb. 23 is the day the morines raised to the flag on Iwo Jima.......

Paratroopers to endure more ruff training than Morines......they think for themselvs ---- not take orders as morines do....And they die hard..... Can you imagine a division of morines on OMAHA beach.....ie commanded by 'Holloeing Mad' Smith.....

My father in law was mentioned by name in the film. He was one of the paratroopers in B Company who jumped on the Los Banos raid. I'm fortunate to have heard so many of these accounts first hand. Thx for honoring their memory and sacrifice!

Excellent job, Jeremy! My dad was in the 101st and used to say that he had immense respect for those who served in the Pacific. I am going to write a story on this in my blog and attribute you and your book - which I am going to buy as soon as I finish writing this comment. Thanks for putting this great story together. Hi Jeremy thank you for the video and the book. I noticed in the video that there are some pictures of my Grandfather. His name was Walter Young and he was in the 11th airborne recon platoon, he had 2 silver stars(1 from tagatay ridge and one from the Los Banos Raid). The pictures that you have are some that Grandfather kept after the war. At 3:30 he is front row 2nd to right, at 6:02 he is paratrooper on the far left. His citations is also listed on the 11th airborne headquarters company website. I would provide the link but UA-cam keeps deleting my comment when it includes a link.

Thank you for this information. My grandfather Arthur Lee Mitchell was in the 11th. He was at Camp McCall for the building of the devision. He told me he went to New Guinea, Leyte, Luzon, and finally into Japan for the surrender.
