Mine still ticked when cold is that normal?
@@sethy5372 no…you can try the process with a cold motor and see if that helps
@localenterprisebroadcastin5971 thanks for the help, you don't think it will be overtightened warm if I do it when cold? Mine rattled until about 130 degrees.
@@sethy5372 you’ll know if it’s too tight …the motor will make a hissing/whining sound …I forgot to mention in the video that if you’re doing it at operating temp, you need to tighten the screw a half turn after the noise stops …this takes up the slack when the engine is cold
Engine hot or cold?
@ 1:30 thanks for the comment
You can just flip the reeds over
@@collinthibodeaux4742 in a pinch sure, but that gets ya home…not through a race or a weekend. When things bend one way millions of times and become brittle, they tend to snap when you try to bend them the other way …but hey if you like splitting cases to unplug your transfer ports be my guest 🫡
Will be trying this tomorrow. Thanks bro. Looked like NM?

I just rebuilt my Honda XR 200 and I was wondering why it wasn’t starting and this is why it wasn’t starting because I wasn’t lined🤣🤣🤣🤣
Just about to start it right now I’ll see if that was the problem Because I just did a top and rebuild on it

Glad it helped
My truck is a 2500 and seems to only have a speed sensor on the rear differential, none at the front wheels
Totally agree. If you can't do your own maintenance, you will be poor and disappointed
When you say that the issue may still be there with a used one, do you mean because of the vin mismatch or because the used one may be bad aswell? Bought an 02 with a 5.9L gas auto that had a bad pcm, with that 4 wheel abs module. Put another PCM from an 01 5.2L but that had a 2 wheel ABS in it. Had the ABS/brake lights on both pcms so I figure its the PCM not being wired for 4 wheel ABS, a sensor, or the module itself. Just asking as I have the opportunity to buy a used ABS module (assuming its not a sensor after ive done this troubleshoot)
Yoooo! 2013 Jetta TDI 150k. Any easy way to clean egr without replacing?

How do I contact you?

Seems like you're angry with your life. Fix that first.

Hey Loc, hows it? Clutch paw ok? RRRRRRRRRRRRRR
Getting better
I hate that everytime i start it , needs to download . If you ever are in a no wifi area your done. Sux. Im sorry i purchased one just for this aspect.
You might want to contact their customer support. There’s a specific way to save your work once you build a map… if you’re saving it correctly and still losing your data then there’s something wrong…yes my maps load every time I start the truck but it doesn’t require WiFi to load maps …my tablet is always connected to my quadzilla
Can you post the link now lol
dude, I just realized you have an exhaust temp bung right there on your turn down just after the turbo.
Very perceptive 👍…and the reason I didn’t use it is because the temperature before the turbo gives you the most accurate EGT information…I’m running a secondary mechanical temp gauge on the bung for the turbo temp …there’s almost a 300 degree difference between the two. Thank you for the view and comment 👍 I hope your build goes well 🤘
Great advice but I wish you would drop more F bombs!
Fuckin A. Thank you for the comment 🙏
just started the video. I'll mention do the wiretap test before you get started on the install while your batteries are connected, Mark your wire, then disconnect your batteries and do the install.
I do mention this in the video…how to verify you’ve located the correct wire and checking for 12v with the ignition on engine off, you may have missed it or not gotten to that part of the installation…I did my best to follow the book’s procedures step by step in the order the manufacturer suggested…what the instructions did NOT cover was checking for the 12v circuit on the VP wire. This is why I temporarily hooked the battery back up AFTER I tapped the wire, then disconnected it once I confirmed I tapped the correct wire. Thank you for the comment and view 🙏
They actually do not have a crapy clutcg. They have a heavy duty 6 bolt 8 plate clutch from the factory.
True. 2002 was the first year Yamaha went to a 6 bolt 8 plate basket from 2001 5 bolt and plate.
Paint thinners and other solvents like acetone actually are octane boosters. A lot of them use the same chemicals
Please give us the year of your truck. I have a 2000 Gen2 Dodge Ram 2500 Cummins with R47E Automatic Transmission. My truck has all the sensors you just touched, however my truck has a transmission output shaft speed sensor. In newer trucks the transmission speed sensor may have been deleted. Yes my ABS and BRAKE lights are on. ☹
I have the same year but it’s a cab chassis not a pickup and I have a NV5600 manual transmission. Not sure what that helps with but hopefully it does 🤷🏼♂️
Cool, nice work LOC. fire it up next time lol RRRRRRRRRRR
Stock exhaust…nothing to write home about lol
@@localenterprisebroadcastin5971 oh.. I've always had my eye on Buell. You know me, I like weird stuff.. gd luck
How much is this piano worth?
Couldn’t tell ya
You can flip them if you are in a pinch, so not really “retarded” I flipped some out on a trail ride and forgot about it for 30 more hours before they deformed the other way because I forgot about it.
Yeah in a pinch to get ya back to the truck or camp…but it’s not good to leave them that way, you just got lucky in my opinion. I’ve had reeds break and send the debris through the transfer ports and get stuck. It only has to happen once for me to stop doing things that lead to more headaches. Like I said in the video…it’s retarded to risk doing more damage when they’re so easy and cheap to fix in the first place…im just speaking from personal experience, I was a dumb teenager who had way more ambition than talent and often learned valuable lessons the hardest way possible 😂…But thanks you for the comment 🙏
@@localenterprisebroadcastin5971 the reeds could break off and run through the engine engine, it would not hurt it. They aren’t metal. How did it suck debris past an air filter? I’ve had new v force reeds break and run through an engine with no damage.
Hell yeah dude. Easiest install ever!
Yep…ten minutes without power tools
The right side track was locked up and did the adjustments which now the track moves freely. However the brake pedal has no resistance when engageing it. So i can only turn in one direction. Any ideas with this? Thx
Look for oil under the output final drive housings…this can be done by removing the inspection plates underneath the hull…sounds like you’ve got a blown seal or hydraulic line …or your fluid levels are wrong …I would cut open some of the hydraulic filters and look for metal shavings too as the bevel gear assembly could have also taken a crap…unfortunately if the adjustment doesn’t fix the problem it only gets more expensive from there…a blown seal or hose is the next best thing but depending on which one could be a nightmare to fix
I just put this tune on my phone and gonna try it out tomorrow.
awesome…I had my best results in power setting 4 (running a tapped wire for my VP44)
@@localenterprisebroadcastin5971 You had the best fuel economy on power 4 on this custom tune? I just ordered a quad for my 2001 r3500 nv5600. Going to try.
Saved me alot of time thank you
None of these cars should be marketed in manufactured in the US. They should move to Russia, Ukraine, where they belong.
Next time start it for us.
I did…you must not have watched the video
Did that fix the left turn issue?
Partially….i was able to move the dozer but it still didn’t work well enough to do a days work…one of the hydraulic seals is leaking and the output lockup isn’t functioning correctly. The owner ended selling the equipment before I could completely fix the issue as it was too much for him to pay for
@@localenterprisebroadcastin5971 maybe the brake lining got contaminated?
I have a question. My bike is bogging yz125 2003 down. Smoking bad i change crank seal water pump seal didn't fix it took it to shop i would love to know it sounds like there fluid inside crank i could be wrong i change reeds today before i gave up
Couple of things it could be..1 your cases need to be re sealed or they’re cracked and it’s letting transmission oil in the crank case 2 you’ve got a cracked cylinder that’s letting coolant into the crank case 3 your float height isn’t set correctly and it flooding the engine with raw fuel by way of gravity. (This one is probably the easiest to diagnose. All you have to do is turn the fuel off and start the motor. If the motor cleans up and starts running better than you know that your float height is messed up or you’re jetting is way off. )Hope this helps
@@localenterprisebroadcastin5971 I think it's float I turn gas off it did clear up my cases are sealed good an my cylinder an piston is new il keep u posted shop said they will look at it sat I gave them apex head an new carb to install too so but I did install the carb it didn't help so i put my old one back on so it's gotta be in engine il keep u posted
@@michaelgarland579 sounds like the float then…could be an ignition issue too but I think not based on what you’ve described
@@localenterprisebroadcastin5971 ok il keep u posted it bugs me alot I spent thousands on old bike
I have a 2.0 TDi 2013 Tiguan. I think these cars are bullet proof. I have just over 330 000 km, I bought as a demo not new. Not a days problem. Cambelt not very complicated for DIY. I paid a VW technician to my first watched him do it. Then I did it twice on my own, the second very recently. Still original manual clutch, although I can feel that I'm about to do the dreaded dual mass flywheel soon. I Will do myself. I am not a mechanic. Other than that no problem, I change my diesel filter yearly for the past 10 years with no scan tool or pump priming. The fuel where I stay not the cleanest 50PPM however no issues. I do a lot of freeway driving no DPF issues yet. I am considering maybe getting a newer low milage TDI.👌
Hey man i have the same bike and i am trying to replace the cylinder do you have any idea where to look
Hey i have the same bike and cant find a main cylinder for it do you have any idea where to look.
That’s a great question and I too have not been able to source a cylinder…from what I gather it’s gotta be sleeved or replated
@@localenterprisebroadcastin5971 so what do you think I should do if it's Cracked. And has a strip thread.
Hey I have the same bike and problem and I have to replace the jug do you know where I can find one.
Legend. Thank you so much 🎉
My 99 2500 Cummins for some reason has no cables at all coming out of the wheel is there a different location for speed sensors
You probably only have rear ABS only
That's exactly what that means.
If your rotor back/back of the spindle doesn't have a reluctant ring, (it has teeth), then you only use the rear.
you deserve more viewers and subs
Nobody deserves anything 🤷🏼♂️😂…but seriously thank you for the compliment, comment and view 👍💪
2 year update I am due for the mf due wheel flywheel how’s it’s going is it good do you have a link or a video on it? (if it’s said it’s cuz i’m impatient and posted this 5 minutes in)
How come nobody does BOTH the top and under the handle bar steering stabilizer? Wouldn’t it make the bike more stable at high speeds and reduce wobble to nearly zero?
