Still liking the exhaust
Those are 6.5” or 9” riser?
Nice bike mate. I've just installed the mid bends and thinking of getting the 6.5 inch pullbacks with the 1/2" spacer. Is that what you installed? I think the standard cables will fit. BTW. I didn't de-pin any wires. I just sent them down the bars. Mines the 14 lowrider. Cheers for the vid.
Just bought this setup for my lowrider s, I’ve probably watched this 100 times waiting for mine to come in.. Sounds amazing.
Sorry if I missed it but why did you replace the sweeper with the pipe bomb?
Thanks for making this video. I have to do the same job on a 2003 Dyna
I just got a pipe from Steve and I would agree 100% that his customer service is amazing
What year Dyna was this? I have an 09 trying to see if 13s fit my year
This one was an 09!
I came really close to getting the '21 Low Rider S in Midnight Crimson. Couldn't quite afford it. Instead I got the Black '22 Low Rider S. Your ride sounds great BTW.
Ordered the exhaust. Really like that we can change out the mufflers so easily and change up
I just did my chain yesterday and my friend pulled up with a big half inch impact snap on and it didn’t do it either struggle and didn’t even brake the bolt my neighbor let me borrow that Milwaukee impact that thing is solid think I’m buying one to it’s way better than the snap on
It’s literally the most used tool in my garage! Can’t go wrong 🤙🏻
Any idea if this rear fender will fit on a dyna wide glide?
Damn, I’m not really sure. I think if you go to Speedkings website it’s says what years/models it fits
Will go check it out, much appreciated
Sounds real good! Would you say that there´s any louder alternatives that you could go for or this is basically it? Looking for something nasty for my Road Glide ST with a full stage 2.
Thanks for the watch! I currently have the HPI shorty on my road glide st. That sounds extremely nasty. I wear ear plugs on rides more then an hour.
Damn brother! Nice to see someone riding the same bike🥳 So you switched bike and pipe or you have them both? If you were to put the Stealth pipe on the RG ST, with your current setup, what difference would it be in general do you think? The HPi shortys are really sweet pipes for sure, just trying to figure out if the price point and lead times would be worth it. It has to be way better than the Stealth for me to consider it I believe. Stay safe man!@@THEFLYINGFRO
@@JakobKaizen I traded in my low rider for sure. Couldn’t afford both of those! I think the stealth pipe would be a little quieter. I love both pipes equally. I was just tryin to go all out performance on my ST and didn’t matter what I spent. So I went with hpi lol. Btw you can try your luck on the m8 trader pages on ig or hit up speed kings cycle. Randomly someone will have one. That’s how I found mine. No wait. Just an hour drive to pick it up.
Great feedback man. Blockhead Moto just uploaded an exhaust comparison on their channel. The HPi is for sure loud and raspy, in a different way from the Stealth but similar somehow. Now the new Blockhead pipe got me really thinking as it performed best of them all quite honestly seems to be close to the HPi in terms of sound. Not looks though. Real good tip on the trader pages, haven´t considered that yet as it seems quite risky no?@@THEFLYINGFRO
@@JakobKaizen the bike community is pretty honest for the most part. I’ve had multiple things sent to me and I’ve sent things out. There are only a few good ones out there. Just check the follower count and you should be good 👍🏻
Hey man. I have the same type of stator rotor. How does it come off? I haven't seen anything yet that shows taking the magnet rotor off itself.
sorry for the late response, that year of dyna had a little lip in the inner primary that kept me from pulling it though, you have two options for removal, use a die grinder to shave just enough of the inner primary to pull the magnet off or pull your inner primary, there are two little holes in the magnetic plate you can use two curved picks or two smaller Allen keys with the L shape and slide them into the holes and pull. the magnet is pretty strong. once you pull off the magnet there is I believe 4 T27 bolts that you gotta remove. after that home free. make sure to lock tite those when you reinstall. I've heard people using coat hangers and all sorts of things
I got the same ugly air filter on my 05 dyna wide glide fxdwgi I noticed a lot of tubes connecting to it. Do I just remove the tubes and plug the holes ?
Haha time for a change. Yeah I ordered a little set of little rubber caps from Amazon and they fit just fine. The Hypercharger works on vacuum lines to move the vent so if you plug em up they are just fine. It’s been so long but you might have to remove a t fitting or two
I didn’t see any T fittings just that long tube like you have in the video. Is that the one I plug ?
@@Scooter3194 yeah you pretty much follow it back and plug it up. Sorry for my late response! Been so long since i did it
Your good bro that’s the only one I see to plug up thanks a lot for even answering questions after a 1 year post I really appreciate it… ride safe brother
@@Scooter3194 Thats what this community is all about 👌you ride safe as well
Torn between this and the PV3
Which year make and model did these come off of I really want them if i can find the right information so i can order them
I believe these mags came off 99-05 dyna/ sportster something with a 39mm front end. Not sure the correct years but your best bet is finding someone off IG or OfferUp selling a set. You can get the mags and bearings separate and go to a local machine shop to have them cut bigger grooves for the bigger bearings. or the easier way is find someone who already went through all the trouble to modify them. I’ve got both sets of mags off OfferUp in the past year. Usually around 800 for some shitty ones or 1k plus for some nicer ones. Side note if you have an early year dyna you don’t have to do all the mods, only for later years. Tracker Die sells a mag conversion kit as well but I didn’t have luck with their spacers. I found a local shop that had a set of old ones lying around. If you have anymore questions feel free to ask!
I think there is a company out of the Vegas area that sells these mags all done but I don’t have the name or info for it unfortunately l.
@@THEFLYINGFRO thank you
2011 Fatbob...96ci. Going through this now. Hoping I wouldn't have to pull the inner primary..and damn sure not going to dremel my case. Cool vid...thanks.
I think you might be in luck. I think a year after my model they may have gotten rid of that stupid lip. Just make sure to get new tensioner bolts because I snapped one and it wasn’t even to torque yet 😬
Thank you for watchin!
What year is the bike
She is an 09 super glide!
What year are the wheels I’m looking at getting mags but I was advised to only buy 2006+ wheels are the hubs that much smaller
@@therealporter2028 I believe they are 2000-05 mags. I found them already converted for 06+. The axle size changed from 3/4 to 1in/25mm. If you find the old ones you gotta drill them out for the bearing
Nice vid. What’s that jazz song name?
Sunday by Roger Rivas! hopefully that's the right one you are talking about! Thank you!
How's the bike treating ya? 🤘🤘🤘
Love it man! Such a comfortable ride 🤙🏻 how’s your comin along?
@@THEFLYINGFRO Same here! Loving the ride. Going stage 2 pretty soon.
@@GlidingOnTwos I want to do the same as well, might have to wait because my wife and I are moving soon. But hopefully by the end of the year it will be done!
Nice s2 to lazy lizard the old 80 to 94 is one of my favorite rides. Julian can kinda suck on a weekend thoe. I grew up out there. Love the 94 from campo to Blvd stretch.
That was definitely one of my favorite rides so far. We were riding pretty much sideways with the gnarly ass winds. One day we might run into each other!
Oh ya the 8 from ocitillo to inkopah is brutal I don't think it's ever not windy.. dam phone I grew* up out there. In far east county. But s2 is just awesome on a nice day.
@@dormantmenace that would be a cool place to be able to explore when you are young! We found an air strip along the way, would have been cool to race on it 👀
@THE FLYING FRO it was before all the solar farms and windmills. now it's blm agents everywhere and a billion dollars in lock gates. From golden acorn casino to inkopah.. we all just raced on the strip of road out of jacumba on old 80. To the T at corrozi gorge rd were it heads to the 2 gas stations by the 8.. a airstrip runs parallel to it and the border fence.
@@dormantmenace I think I know where you are talking about. I’ve been in the SD area for about 2 years and still getting to know the area
Mags are the shit
What size is your rear tire? I just bought 13 spoke mags for my dyna
I believe I was running a 160x16 on the rear and a 100 or 110x19 on the front. Since this video I have sold this bike so I’m going strictly off my shitty memory 😬
Great video, I thought I was going to have to replace my stator, lucky enough I'm fairly sure my problem is the voltage regulator which has failed.
Thanks man! I really hope that’s all you have to swap. The stator is a doozy to get to. Having similar symptoms?
I have a fxs Blackline 2011, lost all signals on my speedo gauge, however I still had indicators and the bike didn't miss a beat. When I got home after a 3-hour ride, I could smell my battery cooking. I thought it would be either my voltage regulator or stator which had failed. I have done the continuity test on the stator which was sweet- no signal or sound on multimeter, I have done the ohms test which read .3 on my 3 phrase pins. I just have to do a AC voltage test at 3000 rpm to get a reading between 32-56 AC volts when bike is running. I feel the stator so far is healthy. I've ordered a new voltage regulator and battery and hope that is the issue for the toasted battery. and no indicator or 6th gear lights on the speedo gauge. on my bike I have to take off the outer and inner primary to get to the stator. Your video made the job look easy if I do have to replace the stator at some time. The job doesnt look to complecated to do :-)
@@sicmic74 sounds like it would be the voltage regulator. Not sure if you know but Napa batteries are basically OEM harley batteries for about half the cost. I found this out doing research for the stator lol
@@sicmic74 I’m sure your stator is healthy if it’s cookin your battery! Haha
👍💯
Great video ! I just came across your channel actually and I'm happy to support you and other fellow content creators. I look forward to seeing and hearing more from your channel in the future; keep up the great work and ride safe out there ...
Talking about pipe bombs and Grenades through the postal service on UA-cam… shouldn’t cause the feds AI to flag you…lol
Not at all, completely not suspicious…. Haha
@@THEFLYINGFRO And drive by’s
Just picked up my new LOWRIDER two days ago. Rode over to fiesta island just to put some miles on haha
Another SD native! Congrats man! Fiesta is always a nice little cruise. You get the 117 or 114?
117. Already can’t wait to throw exhaust, fairing and a sattleman on
@@ZizyMoto the 117 is a beast. I got a road glide st recently. Already stage 1 and she rips super hard. Just haven’t had too much time to make a video!
@@ZizyMoto the Harley tax is super real haha

Haha! Does this happen to be in the Sacramento area? I got it at a garage sale….haha
Thank you for making this video 🤘🏽
Anytime 🤙🏻
@@THEFLYINGFRO I got this pipe bomb to replace the side out street sweeper and when I tried to line it up to my bracket they don’t match. Any advice? Didn’t you have to bend your mounting bracket at all? Thanks
@@SkateparkLessons sorry I just saw this! I ended up taking a drill bit and slightly grinding the hole a little taller. I’m sure a dremal would work a little better though
Thank you for sharing your setup. My sister just gifted a new GoPro Hero 8 Black unit to me as an early Christmas gift. I have Cardo PacTalk Bold system working pretty good for my comms to one other rider. Is it not possible to just pair the GoPro, Cardo and skip all of the other cables, etc? Thank you. Philip
Anytime! I believe you can use a splitter and the attenuator cable going into the GoPro. As well as using the stereo breakout cable. The problem is the cardo is a “powered” unit so it over powers the “unpowered” mic going into your GoPro. Until go pro comes out with a bluetooth link for motorcycle comms this is gonna be your best bet. Let me know if you have any questions. I’m always down to help/problem solve
Did you need peg spacers to make the mid controls fit?
Not with Stealth pipes. I think the only pipe that requires spacers is the S&S pipes. But someone please correct me if I’m wrong haha
Why did you decide to go with a t55?
I felt like it would help me get the front end up a little better. Now it just wants to eat tires. Plus it’s not as dramatic as a 60 or 65. Brought my rpms up a little more on the freeway but nothing super crazy.
@@THEFLYINGFRO Do you know what other gear ratios guys are running to wheelie or is t55 the one?
@@Kastra707 a lot of the heavy hitters out there still run belts with stock gearing. But from what I’ve heard it helps a little bit. For me it seemed easier, but I also think I need a stickier rear tire. The one I got is a little slick and loves to slide out.
Which do you like more the tbr or the stealth?
Personally I like the stealth more. Build quality is better and I like the sound more. The tbr sounds great but it’s a little much for Cali. I did buy my tbr used but I noticed the last time I took it off the bike the weld on where the mounting bracket meets the exhaust was failing and there is a hole straight into the can. Plus Steve is a great dude to work with.
I currently have the tbr megaphone on my fxlrs . But I’ve been hearing stealth is amazing for the cost . Seems like the sound is solid compared to the tbr .
@@andrewmartinez8593 it sounds great man. And the price is solid as well. I’m currently running the turndown style at the moment, it’s a little louder then the pipe bomb and it definitely helps grab more attention when splitting lanes. The angle of the pie cuts send a little more sound in front of you rather then all behind
@@THEFLYINGFRO Did you notice any difference in performance?
@@andrewmartinez8593 I feel like it woke up my bike nicely. I wish I could do a comparison but my tbr is on my 96” dyna and the stealth is on my 114 lol
Just ordered this addition to my stealth header..thanks for the video.
Glad I could help! You’ll love it 🤙🏻
You should definitely make more of these, you're really good at it.
