MSRA exam
All you need to know about MSRA exam in 5 minutes. A summary of what I have covered :
1. MSRA is like an entrance test for many specialties except medicine and surgery.
2. The top ranking candidates in this exam will be invited to interview subsequently. The number of those candidates will depend on how competitive a specialty is. Hence, the cut off score to be called for interview will be different for different specialties.
3. There are two parts in this exam - Clinical Problem Solving and Professional Dilemma Test/Situational Judgmental Test (SJT)
4. The most commonly used question banks/study materials are - Passmedicine, Pastest, Emedica, MCQBank and Dr Aman Arora. There are obviously several others.
5. You can appear for MSRA exam outside UK as well.
6. The eligibility criteria is -
a) Eligible for full registration with the GMC + license to practice by the time you start (not needed at time of application)
b) 2 years clinical experience by the time you start training (can be in any country) - e.g. FY1 and FY2, or internship + 1 year at SHO/F2 level
c) CREST form

@@renaissancechakraborty9949 never said its easy in India but in the UK it's the worst especially looking at the state of the NHS. Hours are long, doctors are underpaid, they are mistreated, there is hardly any support etc.. ofc there is achievement but the struggle is a lot to handle. This video is misleading

Hello sir, I am pratik from India and am currently pursuing my MBBS from Romania and want to be registered as a junior doctor in THE UK, but here in EU countries we don't have internships in our final year and that is why it is very confusing for us because it is written in GMC that we have at least 12 months to register in UK So please make a video on this topic for EU degree holders...
