Cost Effective GPS for Precise Cemetery Mapping
Переглядів 12910 місяців тому
For cemetery mapping, is there any surveyor type equipment that is cost effective yet accurate? Put away your ropes and measuring tapes. Forget about $10,000 GPS/GNSS packages. For a few hundred dollars (up to $700) you can get 10mm (1/2 inch) accuracy. If you are interested in the scholarly paper about evaluating low cost RTK GNSS receivers, here is the link: www.sciencedirect.com/science...
Faster Cemetery Grids
Переглядів 1410 місяців тому
It is time consuming if you have to take two very long measuring tapes and hundreds of feet of rope and then figure out the hypotenuse of a triangle in order to make a square. To make a grid to map a section of a cemetery you may have to do it time and time again as you move through a location. Instead, measure and cut some cord/rope/pull tape to length and sew on rings. Roll up your cord on a ...
Engine Bay Quick Wash

This 2003 Ford Ranger was looking a little dirty... in the engine compartment. You can spend quite a while detailing the area, but this is a 10 minute project needing no special tools or detergents. I used "Simple Green", but any dish detergent would have worked just as well. A spray of Armor-All was an added touch at the end.
Wiper linkage bushing replacement on a 2003 Ford Ranger
Переглядів 9 тис.3 роки тому
My passenger side wiper quit mid stroke. A little nylon piece was worn down. The wiper and the arm that makes it move had separated. I managed to get into the area to replace the bushing. It might have been less of a headache to remove the wiper motor and the linkage that moves the wiper... and the wiper mechanism... assemble everything outside the engine bay... and put it back in. This fix-it ...

My 03 Ranger is the same color as yours but I have the 6 liter. 222,000 miles and going strong. My passenger side bushing decided to die yesterday during a hard rain. This video will be very helpful in replacing it.

found another video by "G Auto Repair" where he pushes the bushing into the main arm first (with help from pliers) then pushes the main arm + bushing onto the passenger side ball/arm. both videos are fantastic and show you two good ways to get the job done, just thought i'd leave the comment in case anyone watches this video and doesn't have a helper mouse. hope this helps and have a good day ☺️

I think something that could have been done with Milli Vanilli was present it as a total act. Include the real singers and Rob and Fab as the faces of the band.

Came looking for advice. I replaced the plastic bushing, and it snapped firmly into the arm, then the passenger arm ball snapped firmly into the new bushing. It pops back off on the first stroke, every time. The arms aren't binding, and I see nothing wrong!

Sorry to say but I belive this is true.News is that the Japs killed Michael Jackson because he was owned by them and Michael could not take their crap anymore and was getting ready to leave them. Many of todays singers are backed and owned by over sea agents.Prince is another artist who died very young.Get my message people.R.I.P Johnny Davis

I am the second cousin of John Davis. My grandfather (Johnnie Davis) and John's Dad (Charlie Davis) were brothers. I am so elated that this information exist. Much of this was unknown to me (and many of us really). Especially the information about our family tree and history. Many of us are still in the Anderson area, and in fact are gathering for the first time in many years this coming weekend. I would like to clarify one thing: The narrator stated that the man singing on the '45 was my Grandfather (Johnnie Davis). Well, it is actually his brother (John's uncle) Hubert Davis leading that song. He is one of a few Davis siblings still living.
