the '60s was an odd time for police cars. Most police departments skipped this decade on acquiring cars to use in their motor pools and were still using their old 50s cars for the most part, like this 1953 Burnside Special, which is a good idea since this car was pretty advanced for its time and was still keeping pace with newer cars. Firwood City Police Department would eventually acquire Bluebucks but until then, the leftover Burnsides carried the department until the 70s
