Dear Colonel, here is an alternative perspective on the Ukrainian conflict and possibly "happy" resolution. It could be a golden opportunity for You, Mr Trump and Mr Putin to make a difference and even have your names decorating the most beautiful and important building in the human history. Never mind, this perspective will attract more European audiences than before, as it relates to Western Europe as much as to Ukraine. Here it is, the Belgium Scenario, a miracle Belgian turnaround from Europe’s battlefield into the European parliament. BELGIUM is a crossroad of Europe. It was labeled "battlefield of Europe" for many years and many armies fighting on its soil. But no more, now it is Europe's largest meeting point re-branded as the “cockpit of Europe”. Belgium and Ukraine populations are divided according to the language spoken. Belgium has French and Dutch dialects, Ukraine - Polish and Russian. There is no "Belgium" language for a good reason: they don’t want to repeat Ukrainian scenario: Just imagine, that someone in Belgium, either on the French or the Dutch side takes over the control, the whole country, government, media, business, constitution, pronounce the other side “occupants”. The other side gets banned: their language, their right to vote, they are physically isolated from the outside and . . . is under artillery fire for 8 years in the row. The neighbouring France or Netherlands would call for a peaceful resolution, trying hard to stop violence, make a peace deals. It would take time, but if the controlling side does not cooperate, instead it pulls in allied forces, builds secret bio-labs, military training facilities, weaponises itself, establishes their enemy no 1. As Belgium has nicely turned around from Europe's fight club into Europe's meeting and negotiation point, we should turn Ukraine from World's fighting ring into World's negotiation room. To follow the Belgium Scenario, Ukraine has to build The World Union Parliament and go back to multi-lingual and multi-cultural system (as it was in 1993). The other world’s authorities will built their own offices around there to coordinate and regulate joint projects between East and West. Belgium did this for Europe, Ukraine can do this for the world. Shouldn’t we be worried and make a break through in medicine, green energy, humanity… Wouldn't it be nice for Ukrainians to host it? Don't they deserve it? It is a decent “way out” for all: Isn't it what Mr Putin would want in exchange for occupied by him Eastern Ukraine? Isn't it what You, Colonel, and Mr Trump want in exchange for occupied by NATO Western Ukraine? Isn't it what we ALL want in exchange for WW3. Can we start negotiating on these premises?
