I have watched your video before and I agree with you . However, at the very beginning of this video, you should have pointed out that a square not with the tag ends not seized down to the standing part of each line will fail under load .

I know this comment is 4 yrs old, however i use rhis knot for lighter line. I do not double back and i just wrap 7 times does the trick. This knot works great.

I have that same scale. And I have to tell you that scale is rounding your numbers. There is definitely a difference between size 4 size 5 and size 6

I love these guys that claim they have the strongest knot with absolutely no proof. I created the Fish-N-Fool knot that was proven to be the strongest line to lure braid knot ever Tested on the Knot Wars tv show. Anybody can claim something but its another thing to back it up with REAL facts.

If you put your tag loop through the bottom loop before putting it through the top loop, it's a double San Diego Jam Knot, and would be stronger. :)

Eugene slip knot is the best for fluorocarbon line period. I have tested every other knot against it. Even the double line uni knot breaks every time before the Eugene.Tie the Eugene knot on a lure and tie any other knot to a lure on the other end and pull to see which one breaks first. Thanks, your right this is the strongest knot, also called the double line Uni knot, line to hook, swivel etc. There is another double Uni for tying two lines together. Who is Eugene? Inventor?

Man I wish you'd leave the scale straight up and down so we could see the numbers. When you turn it down it all goes dark. Other than that good review. Do you know is there any difference (besides color) with the Grey one compared to the dark blue ones?

Why would you ever want to tie braid directly to a hook, or lure? And what possible advantage is being able to undo it in fishing.?
